This wonderful wife & husband owned eatery is THE BEST kept secret in my home town of Santa Barbara. The menu is tasty and diverse. We found this place with the help of Axxess card. We really enjoyed the food. The pizza is yummy and the pho is delicious! The people running the place are the best. So kind and friendly. We also enjoyed the quiet and private ambiance offered by the location at Victoria court- close to State street but away from the craziness. We came here from out of town craving pho...our first time here we waited well over an hour for our soup. We didn't complain because we figured they were just busy. We decided to give them another chance. Second time, we ordered chicken pho with literally two pieces of baby bite chickens. Where at this time we also heard the owner shouting and mocking someone in the back. Both me and my sister froze and wondered who he was speaking to like that. I really hope it wasn't any of his employees or his wife based on the reviews below. Again, we didn't complain and decided to give them a third chance as Santa Barbara pho is limited. When we walked in with a smile and said, "hi! We're back"! The owner just gave us an awkward glare and didn't seem welcoming. When we ordered two chicken phos again we asked for extra chicken this time. His first response, "WELL, you're going to have to pay extra for that!" Which is understandable but his tone was so uncomfortable. When I proceeded to say, "yeah. Last time we only had two small pieces of chicken," he didn't even acknowledge the statement or apologize or at the very least accommodate the price for last visits disappointment. It's almost like he ignored it intentionally. I only give two stars because although the pho was a very small portion, it was basic decent pho. I will also say that the young lady at the register the first day (had her hair in a bun) and the young man (tall) at the register the second day were very kind and provided great customer service. I believe the wife also walked out from the back and she also seemed very pleasant. I hope that the owner can improve on his customer service. read more

We found this place accidentally and were pleasantly surprised! Just off of State street, They have outdoor seating in a cozy courtyard. It felt tucked away and private. We ordered a pizza and Shakshuka as we were craving for some hot food for lunch. The pizza came out fresh and delish and the Shakshuka was bursting with flavors. I had a bacon burger with fries. The taste was perfect. You could tell the owners made it, by the way everything was so well flavored, from the grilled onions to the cheddar cheese and big bacon strips, really good, thank you. My wife and I decided to find hidden joints in the cuts, away from the mass public eyes of state street. We were walking and said "F it, let's see what's over here". And we'll what did we find, a food joint in the cut. We decided to take a look at the menu and I seen that this place has pho, pizza and Bahn Mi. I was a little iffy at first but then I seen that there was someone who was asian. You know, me being southeast Asian myself, seeing someone of the same race takes a little worry off your shoulders. So I get the Bahn mi. Pork that is. The way I see it, it's not like the Bahn mis I'm used to seeing. Like those in OC (Lee's Sandwich). The taste of course was there. One thing I didn't like, even though it didn't really change the texture or taste of the sandwich was the lettuce. I have never had a vietnamese Bahn mi with lettuce ahaha. I didn't like that. But other than that, it took the cravings for Bahn mi away. So I'm happy. Will I come back some other day for more? YES. read more

me and my dad were visiting santa barbara from portland oregon. we were looking for new food to try and familiar food to fall back on, we came to 4 eggs & pizza because the sourdough pizza had brought attention to our eyes. i ordered the classic french omelette and my old man ordered the full english breakfast, and when i tell you i have not had a better omelette i am not lying. this omelette and salad made me feel regenerated. it felt like i hadn't eaten real food in so long. the plate my dad got, the full english breakfast, came with... banger sausage, back bacon, eggs, hash browns and it was absolutely amazing. he also served us with black pudding. aka blood sausage and i have to say i'm not a fan of it but i would like to say i tried it and enjoyed experiencing the taste. the black pudding was not for me or my dad, but to those who love blood sausage that's all you. overall the plate i got was absolutely shocking to me. i'm not one for salads and i ate all of it. the balsamic vinaigrette that topped my salad was perfect. it had a nice sweetness but also that vinegar sensation in your mouth. the omelette that was severed was perfected. it had a nice soft texture on the outside and a nice creamy base inside of the omelette. AND THEY HAD brisk iced tea lemon flavor which is my favorite canned drink ever. i immediately fell in love with this place and encourage everyone to come and try new food and even food your familiar with! read more
