We liked how they do the work themselves (instead of hiring others) and have high standards for excellence. When we couldn't afford an add-on for the bid, they decided to surprise us by generously throw it in for us free of charge anyway. They are a couple of good Christian guys who actually care about people, care about their work, and care about reflecting God's love. In the past, we have had challenges with contractors cutting corners on quality, taking way longer than expected and continually raising the price. Working with the Gentry's was the opposite of our past horror stories. They finished when they said they would, they ensured it looked excellent and they were totally honest and upfront about the price. I would work with them again in a heartbeat and recommend anyone else to as well!

I took the day off from work so Anthony could come out and do some final measurements before we start ordering. Appointment confirmed between 11:30 to 12:30. At 1pm sierra called to tell me Anthony was confused and thought it was in the evening. Really? He was planning to stop by at 11 PM at night? Sounds like I was forgotten about again. They did one nice thing after the first time I was forgotten they let me stop by at 7pm to pick out cabenetry. I was given a rough quote of 33k for my kitchen remodel that does not include flooring or backsplash. So after forking out $33k I still wouldn't have a finished kitchen. I will be moving on to another contractor. Be very careful using this company.

Here are just a few of the highlights starting with the process in May: 1) Original person who took measurements emailed us and warned not to use this company (should of listened). 2) Day of install, the installer showed up with no blueprints. 3) Day of install we had 2 incorrect cabinets and one not ordered at all (which we were blamed for). Anthony (owner), claimed it was our fault but would not produce the original plans. 4) Island was done incorrectly. Overhang (Zero) was incorrect. Island was installed crooked. Anthony claimed this was normal and refused to correct. His response was "we do the best to make it even." 5) On the day of the final walkthrough we showed Anthony 1 cracked drawer and 2 discolored cabinet doors and he claimed he would replace them. That was in August of 2017. After 3 months of us emailing/calling Anthony and him making multiple excuses , we came home to boxes on our doorstep containing 2 cracked doors, one wrong size door, and no drawer. Apparently it is our job to finish the installation. No doubt Anthony will write a response putting us down and claiming his innocence. He will claim that we are dishonest and that we got exactly what we asked for. All I can say is please do your research before using this company.

He gave us an initial quote from on my own measurements but we then opted for a larger fronts that would provide more coverage. So, Jakob took the time to come out to our home to measure every single one. I was very impressed with how thorough he was. A few weeks later they were ready for delivery! They came primed and holes were drilled for the hinges (something I would recommend to anyone doing a project like this). Although they promised to express order the correct size, it was 11 weeks after the install date before all the cabinets I had paid for were installed. Every time they messed up, all of a sudden no one at Royal Cabinets was available by phone or text or email to discuss it with me. Also, they badly damaged my countertop during installation. If you get a quote from them, keep in mind: the sales associate does not understand how cabinets are installed, or how to measure for them. And if something goes wrong, they will not take your call.

Used SW Pure White Duration and Superpaint. I was very comprehensive with my request and he not only met my criteria he exceeded it. His estimate was the best of all five offers. He is top notch to work with and the quality of his painters are excellent. I highly recommend him for any job, large or small. One last thought: he left my house cleaner than when he came.
