Unprofessional and doesn't like to answer questions. My hair grew back after going to a dermatologist. Everything happens for a reason.

My luck with dermatologists hasn't been so great. They usually spend literally two seconds on your skin, give you a prescription and leave. Dr. Hill was nothing like that. She came in, took a look at my face and then we started talking. We chatted for at least 10-15 minutes, which you know is a long time for any doctor, lol. She gave me her suggestions but still let me pick my own regimen. She was so informative and I could tell she genuinely wanted to help me get my acne under control. I really appreciated that. I'm excited to try this new regimen and see her in six weeks. The dermatologist assistants was also really great and I had a good time talking to her even though she picked on my for using too much crap on my face, lol. Only bad part is her office doesn't take all insurance. So call before you go. She didn't take my insurance but her reviews were so good that I had to give her a try and I'm so glad I did. Thank you Dr. Hill! :)

I had a follow up visit from the prior year after being diagnosed with alopecia and given products for my condition. The PA and I discussed refilling the prescription for the scalp serum Oxopidaxiaqup but I hadn't planned on purchasing it since I still had half a bottle at home. However, my intentions for this appointment was to purchase the growth serum since I was definitely out. Upon check out I told the front desk person Linda that I wanted the growth serum and thought that's what I paid for and was getting. I asked her to make sure "that's the growth serum right?" And she confirmed that it was. I did not check it there or once I got home because why would I if I asked you twice? However, I used the serum once before my vacation thinking that it was the growth serum. When I cam back from vacation and removed the sew in, I wanted to start back using what I thought was the growth serum, but when I really looked at the bottle, I said hmm this looks different. I then called and spoke with the person at the front Linda I think and explained the situation. She informed me that I was given the scalp serum and that they could not return the serum because of the time passed and because it was used. Ok got it but if you would have given me what I asked for then there would've been no need to return it. She then goes on about how the PA put in the order for me to fill the scalp serum which was irrelevant since I had no intentions of purchasing the scalp serum and was emphatically clear about purchasing the growth serum. I even offered to buy the growth serum and we could split the cost especially since it was Socah Center's fault for giving me what they wanted me to have instead of what I asked for. She would not budge so I ask to speak with Lisa and explained everything again. Lisa even said that the person at the front needs to be trained to verify what's being purchased. She said that she would speak with someone else and call me back the next day but didn't. A week passed so I called and ended up speaking with Walter Dennis. He listened and was on board with a resolution even saying that they would just send me the serum at no cost and he would call me the next day to confirm. Well the next day came and went and so has 4 weeks. Every time I call, I get routed to his voicemail. This is ridiculous and I'm very upset at how this company conducts it's business. Sometimes you do things out of good will because it's the right thing to do. But to not even follow up or even stick to your word is appalling and speaks volumes to your level of integrity! Yes, I can purchase the growth serum no problem, but it's the principle and the fact that the person at the front messed up at my expense.

FUT with Dr. Wetzel -- clear expectations, no surprises, very happy 2.5 months in…read moreI researched several practices before choosing Dr. Wetzel, and his consistently high reviews are what brought me in. They held up. From the first consultation, he and his staff were clear about what to expect at every stage, and there have been no surprises since. Because my hair loss was still in the early stages -- the crown and the temple corners -- Dr. Wetzel explained exactly why FUT made more sense than FUE in my case, rather than just defaulting to the more-marketed option. I appreciated that he tailored the recommendation to my situation. My biggest concern going in was how I'd look returning to work. I have a public-facing role, so a visible recovery wasn't really an option for me. We planned around that: I had the procedure on a Thursday, washed my hair in the office on Friday, and took the following week off. I was back in the office 10 days out with no visible signs of a transplant. That timeline worked exactly as he said it would. Pain and discomfort were minimal -- I took a single Tylenol the first night and needed nothing after that. I went back two weeks later for stitch removal, which was quick and required no sedative. No issues at all. Dr. Wetzel personally designed the graft placement, and the pattern was clearly thought through to look natural rather than uniform. He and his staff also recommended I stay on my topical finasteride and minoxidil spray, plus an LED cap I picked up at the clinic. The initial grafts shed right on schedule, just as he'd told me to expect. Even at this early stage, my barber has commented that my hair looks fuller. I'm 2.5 months out and understand the full result takes about a year, so I'll update as things progress. But so far I couldn't be happier -- with the procedure itself, the natural design, and especially Dr. Wetzel's attention and availability throughout. Looking forward to the next nine months.

I started with special shampoos and conditioners, followed by organic oils and did not see any progress. Finally, I decided to begin researching hair transplant clinics and doctors. The Anderson Clinic was highly regarded from online reviews and after a very transparent and personal virtual consultation with Matt at Anderson Clinic, it was clear who I needed to trust to help me find a solution for hair loss. Immediately (approx. one day) after letting Matt know I was choosing to move forward with a hair transplant (FUE), I received a personal phone call from Dr. Wetzel who was extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of the questions I had. Though FUE is a premium compared to an FUT procedure I truly felt FUE was the best long-term fit for me as I wanted minimal scarring given my history of enjoying a short haircut style. Day of operation came and some of the initial things Dr Wetzel will work with you to do pre-op is the before photographs of your hair, the shaving of your head to optimize him and his staff ability to extract follicles, and then the designing or outline of your desired hairline which is carefully crafted to be natural. Day of procedure I was in office for 8 hours approximately for a Medium hair restoration procedure (2200-2300 grafts). The next morning, I woke up and went back to the office for complimentary hair wash and red-light treatment - a fantastic decision if you have the time to do this. The hair follicles are very fragile in the first 48-72 hours, so those next few days are crucial for following the discharge instructions. I would highly recommend Dr Wetzel and the team at Anderson clinic. I have heeded their advice and am taking finasteride daily as well as wearing a medical grade red-light hat to primarily prevent and/or slow down any further hair loss.

My hair is super thick and before Charla I got "Fairy Knots". I had a love hate relationship with my natural hair. Kinda like a boyfriend...Ha! Well, Ms. Charla or the Hair Doctor as I like to call her has helped me to love everything about my hair again. She's patient and gentle with my hair, which BTW has been natural for 10+ years. I left for school for about 18 months in another State and my hair was abused by stylist who know nothing about healthy natural hair. I have had my hair literally pulled out from the roots which left thin hair. I am back in Atlanta and back with Ms. Charla and together we are fulfilling my healthy hair goals. I am rocking beautiful Eurasian hair which she sells and I am amazed at how many people are shocked when I say my hair is weaved. Give her a call...I promise you will be on your way to VIP at the Healthy Hair Club. I am sure I will meet my waist length thick hair goals with Ms. Charla as my Hair Doctor.

Charla was very unprofessional and did not give me the respect I deserve as a new client. Her Groupon states that she handle natural hair. That is not the experience I had. I have been natural for over 6 years and have has many blow outs done by many people. She did not handle my hair as if she knew much about safely dealing with the curls of black hair without damaging the hair. She did things that go directly against how natural hair should be handled. Like instead determining what type of hair I have and how it needs to be handled she blow dried my just a bit then put me under the dryer causing the roots of my hair to dry while still in its curly state. After that she proceed to comb through those dry stiff curls with a small tooth comb. The Groupon deal I discussed with her did not include a cut. I did not want a cut. She never actually had a conversation with me at all once I got to her chair. This should have been a sign to me that this was going to be a problem. After she did a horrible job of blowing out my hair and flat ironing it she started to cut my hair. At no point was there a mirror I could actually see the progress of my hair. I was not even given a mirror to check the final results when she was complete. By the time I realized that she was cutting my hair without permission it was too late she had already started. She did not trim my ends, she totally cut my hair into a different style including bangs! When I told her I don't want it cut she said a trim is including and continued to cut. there are not enough words to express how displeased I am with not just the style but the service I received.
