The day of my procedure I thought it was sort of strange that Dr. Zufelt made the incisions for the grafts but he did not place a single graft during the procedure. That entire process was handled by his staff. A year after the procedure I had my last follow up appointment. I discussed that I was not completely satisfied with the procedure. My hairline looks like doll hair, with wide spacing between the graft implants. There are spots that are completely without hair as no hair was placed in the area. I went to the Anderson hair center in Atlanta to have them take a look at my hair. They mentioned the reason my hair looks like it does is the spacing between the grafts is not tight enough. I mentioned this to Dr. Zufelt, he stated he could fix it with more grafts and it would cost me another $7,000. As you can imagine I declined. Overall if I knew after spending $15,000 my hair would look like it does today, I never would have proceeded with the procedure. Now I wish I chose another hair transplant center.

But then I found Dr Zufelt who preformed a thorough stem cell/ needling treatment no one else seemed to know how to do, and the hair fall ceased in one week! So I did not have to go completely bald, and while I am only 2 months post treatment, I can see baby hair growth already coming back in. It will take me quite a while to get back the full head of hair lost from the Septic Shock, but thank God Dr. Zufelt was both there, and present to my needs! It was still spotty throughout. JAKE the tattoo artist made the dots way to dark on my implant scar on the back of my head and now I have to spend another couple thousand to remove what he did. I also spent another 3.5 thousand to another smp artist to fix what JAKE did to me. I wrote a review about this earlier this year and it was erased by them. I'll keep checking to see if they remove my comments.

I paid $4,500 for this package, but it's important to note that I wasn't purchasing a hair transplant package, I was actually purchasing a 6-month membership to the club, which she neglected to tell me. When I was nearing the end of my initial 6 months, she rudely interrupted my appointment and told me that my membership was about to expire and if I wanted another year it would cost me another $3,000+. I flat-out said I wasn't interested, and for the remainder of my membership, she frequently tried to get me to change my mind, even going as far to call me and try to persuade me to buy again even though I already said no. What a total lack of respect. Not only that, but during one of my weekly appointments, I was informed by one of the stylists that I actually could have done the surgical procedure. It turns out that Jennifer is not even a licensed cosmetologist, and therefore is not qualified to be giving people consultations on hair rejuvenation. That would be like someone with no experience in construction being hired on as a foreman. I suspect the reason she told me that I couldn't get the surgical procedure is because getting that done would have required me to travel to another facility in Denver or San Francisco, and if I had done that, she would not have made a commission off of me. She is also a total ditz. After one of my weekly appointments, I walked up to the front desk to book my appointment for the next week. I stood there for like 30 seconds waiting for her to acknowledge me while she sat there with her face locked on her computer screen. She finally looked up at me and said "Do you need something?". No, I just wanted to stare at you awkwardly. In my opinion, Jennifer couldn't care less about the actual needs of clients and is only interested in making a quick buck off of people.

I waited a year and went back and he was like what's the problem? He did at least note on the photos that I didn't have that Before but brushed it off and told me to get Botox, but that of course didn't help at all. He came highly recommended and I had to be absolutely sure that I was in good hands since my face isn't something I could easily hide if anything were to go wrong. I've watched a lot of documentaries and shows having to do with botched procedures that has had me a bit paranoid and extremely cautious to say the least. I had three procedures done on May 31st of this year: a forehead reduction, a blepharoplasty (to get rid of the droopy skin in my upper lids), and a facelift (to get rid of my jowls, double chin, and the loose wrinkly skin on my neck). I didn't have a lot of fat under my chin but my saliva glands were disproportionately large in comparison to my face. They hung lower than my jawline, making it look like a double chin. Some years before my facelift, I tried Kybella injections to get rid of the unsightly bulge, with no avail. Dr Thompson was able to shave off the bottom portion of the glands creating a much more defined contoured appearance between my jawline and neck. Another thing I'm happy about is that I no longer have to spend tons of money on lash extensions and time getting creative with eyeshadow to hide the droopiness that made me look tired all of the time. Now, my eyes look awake and full of life (like they did when I was young). My forehead reduction is something I wanted since high school and it helps so much. I don't look like I have a receding hairline anymore. I am forever grateful and couldn't be happier with my results. Dr Thompson has an artistic talent that literally erased more than 20 years off of my appearance. I'm turning 50 this month and everyone I've met since my surgery all say they thought I was in my mid-thirties. Even my dermatologist was impressed at how well my scars are hidden and are barely noticeable. He said he wouldn't have even noticed them if I hadn't pointed them out. He said he's pretty impressed. The complementary Botox, Hydro-facial, and Diamond Glow facial that came as an unexpected perk (following the facelift) is a good plus too. I've already taken advantage of them and my skin feels amazing.
