We told him we we're making s'mores. He actually scrounged up a couple pieces of scrap wood and ran it back over to us. Great guy!!! The girl in the office said they didn't have fire-starter, but said we could walk around by the woods and pick up kindling.

The communication was very good, and they were able to get me into a camper for the beginning of the week. The fee was acceptable, and I was grateful to be getting a camper with AC in the July heat. However, the day after I rented the camper I called to ask about the water and refrigerator, just to make sure I was not missing anything. I had misunderstood that the camper had water in it, no worries there I checked to make sure it was operational after filling it. But when I mentioned that the refrigerator wasn't working, he made it sound like it was my fault, as if I would have somehow managed to damage the refrigerator after half a day's use. When I returned the camper there was nobody around, so I left it where I picked it up. I got an email from them the day after telling me that I scratched the step assistance bar as I had stowed it incorrectly and I would be charged for its repair. But I also would be charged for the cleaning of the microwave and coffee maker since they weren't cleaned. WE DID NOT USE THEM. So basically, they did not check the last person that used it but did with us. We should have gone through every item on their checklist when we rented the camper. If they had simply charged me for "scratching" the assistance bar I would accept that, but the charge for appliances we did not use or open is insulting. If you choose to rent here, check everything.

It was more than enough room for our family of four. Although we weren't strangers to camping, Chris and Carrie were very professional and thorough with their explanation for the use of the RV. Extremely Disappointing Service Department!…read more We brought our Holiday Rambler to Byerly in June for several repairs, including a significant water leak near the door. After more than two months, nearly $4,000 in charges, multiple trips, and two assurances that the leak had been fixed, the RV continued to leak when it rained. What was especially frustrating was learning that one repair was supposedly tested by spraying water on the RV while supervising staff stood outside rather than inside checking for leaks. Eventually, we were told the problem was the awning over the door, the same area they claimed to have repaired during our original visit. We had recently purchased a separate and expensive RV from Byerly, so we expected a much better level of service and workmanship. Unfortunately, this experience has eliminated our confidence in their Service Department. Our Holiday Rambler is finally back, although we still don't know whether the leak is actually fixed. One thing is certain: we will not voluntarily bring our RV back to Byerly for service. Having an extended warranty that may require us to deal with this department in the future makes the experience even more disappointing. A message was left for the Service Department Manager, Steve, asking him to call me back in reference to a complaint about the service we received. As of this writing, he has not called me back. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

Bought an RV here and am going through a divorce, tried for days to verify if the camper payment…read morehad been made by my spouse or not and just kept getting the run around so I went in to speak with the manager Stephen Ruby, and he immediately became hostile towards me for coming in there. the sales man Brock also became hostile towards me and they stated yelling at me, I had to call the police to come down there and mediate all because I needed to find out if a payment was made or not. Both of the men over 6 feet tall got in mine and my daughter's face yelling at us demanding we leave the property , lied flat out to the police about the payments being behind but couldn't tell me that? And had ne banned from the property !?!? ALL THIS BECAUSE I NEEDED TO VERIFY A PAYMENT FOLKS! I would never do business here they are shady and unprofessional and obviously bullies! Any owner would never allow this to happen from management!! Think twice and take your business elsewhere!
