I brought my 9 year old yellow lab in for the $29 trial! I couldn't be more pleased. The lady at the front desk was as sweet as could be and made sure my dog Daisy felt loved and comfortable on the spot. It took about an hour like they originally told me. I came to pick her up, and out walked this happy, tail shaking ball of fur! Her nails were trimmed PERFECTLY and she smelled amazing! The staff here is always so accommodating, even since day 1. They are all extremely friendly and I really get the sense that they care about the all-around well being of both of my dogs. We originally had only wanted to sign up one dog but had to bring the second because you can't just take one for a ride and not the other right?! But when we got there, they assured us that they could fit in both and we ended up doing memberships for each. The "report cards" they provide at the end of each visit are such a nice added bonus and help us keep up on their grooming at home as well. One of my dogs has an incredibly thick undercoat and has always been an extreme shedder, but since I started bringing her to Scenthound regularly, the improvement in her shedding has been exponential. She is also a big nail biter, and while her nails don't necessarily need trimmed because she keeps them so short, the groomers at Scenthound always file her nails and get rid of those jagged and sharp edges. Our short haired dog was adopted from our local shelter, and before being surrendered, we believe he had been on streets for awhile and in a few fights - he has scars, missing hair and was extremely timid and possessive when we first brought him home. We told the staff on his first day and now he runs to the back to be groomed all on his own! When we pick up our dogs, they are not only clean, beautiful, and less smelly, but always happy. I have no reservations about dropping off my dogs here every month because I know they are in great hands. read more

He listened to our concerns and today, our experience was back to Great, our Huskies look great, and smell good. What a wonderful experience. We just moved to the area, so happy I found this place. Bethany the manager was super friendly. I had forgotten my dogs rabbies vaccine at home , she said it was fine and allowed me to email to her. My dog is a big 110lbs boy and they did a great job. I had a coupon for first time customers, so for $15 he got washed, ears, teeth, and nails clipped. What a deal. Bethany also mentioned they have a service to deep clean the dogs teeth without having to put them under. I'll be looking into this for my dog. Great experience over all. So happy. read more

My 5 LB Yorkshire terrier was well taken care of while being groomed at this location. This is a great place to take your dog in a pinch but it is extremely pricey. My dog was buzzed to the absolute lowest length they offer which came out beautifully. My primary issue is the $20. blow out fee. Give me a break! There was nothing really to blow out. A quick sweep of the dryer and she would be done. I've had this tiny dog groomed for over 10 years in Boca Raton and the rate has always been $55.00 for the same exact services I paid $90. for at Scenthound. If money is no issue then I do recommend Scenthound but if you find a $90. fee for a 5 lb dog to be overpriced then you might want to explore other options. read more

When we got our dog home we realized he was limping and had a cracked nail. We took him to the Coastal vet clinic. The vet said the dew claws had not been trimmed (said it looked like only a couple nails had actually been trimmed??). The vet bill for exam, nail removal and antibiotics was $196. I contacted Scenthound to let them know how upset I was. They 'investigated' and said it 'must have happened when they crated him'. They offered a $15 store credit!! DON'T RISK YOUR PET!! read more

So Scenthound is great at what it does, my dog always comes out well groomed when I take him and he never cries or is scared to go with the staff so I'm sure they take good care of him. My grievance with Scenthound is an administrative one, I signed up for their month to month basic package thing. Sometime after I got a second job and taking my boy to get groomed became a little tougher especially with their strict hours. My monthly package things accumulated a bit and I called to cancel the monthly service and they said I'd've to be charge an extra month and I'd've to use them all within 30. So they expect me to take my dog to be groomed three times in one month, lol. All in all Scenthound is a good place to take your dog, they do a good job and treat them well from what I've seen. Just be weary of giving them your bank account info. In my opinion, it's best to pay every time you go and avoid the possibility of them pulling some fast one since they're not really in the business of working with you when it comes to that stuff. read more

Today we went in for a bath, haircut and blow dry and he looks totally amazing!!! The staff are great at what they do, great service, clean place, love the report cards and am super happy they use shampoos with essential oils and natural ingredients. It's unfortunate that my one really bad experience with this place has to outshine my overall average rating. I scheduled my dog to be groomed at 4pm on a Wednesday. I arrived just a little after 4 (4:05 to be exact) after calling to inform them that I was running behind. Before taking my dog back, the front desk woman asked if I wanted to have my dogs nails ground after being cut "to make them softer". I agreed to the upgraded service, handed my dog over and left. Within 15 minutes of leaving I received a call that she was ready to be picked up. I was surprised, and expressed that to the woman on the phone which she then told me they didn't have any appointments around the same time and got to her quickly. (which in this type of service quick is not always good)I informed her I would be 20 minutes which she then made sure I knew they were closing at 5 ( which also made me think they just rushed my appointment to make sure they get out on time. I understand, but that's not an excuse to cut short a paid service, especially since I called the day before to confirm an appropriate time they agreed to). Sure enough once I arrived I was not surprised by the lack of quality in my dog's bath (b/e/n/t). There was still dirt on the outside of her ear, which looked as if someone casually wiped it with a wash clothe ONCE! Her nails were not done properly, and as the woman started to tell me the groomer only cut them and didn't grind them down, I reminder her I wanted the grind service as well. She then backed tracked and said the groomer actually didn't cut the nails at all and just ground them ‍. Even after all of those quality fails, the worst of all, and the main part of the service, my dog didn't even get a full bath. Her hair on her undercarriage was completely dry to the touch and her tail (being long, and usually tangles when wet) was as fluffy as when I brought her in. I'm not sure what's going on or how they do quality control. They clearly screwed the pooch on this one . I'd advise further costumers to proceed with caution and double check your pup after service. Chances are you might be getting gypped. read more

It was nearly impossible for me to get appointments on the weekend when need so I requested cancellation. Took over 4 months to cancel contact. Had to call numerous times, send request by mail, and also had to email over 4 times and they continued to withdraw money out of my account. When I called to complain I was hung up on. I honestly like scenthound because it's not pricy compared to the other groomers out there but the last 2 visits that my dog has had weren't that great because they didn't clean her ears which come with the essential care package also which include the bath , nails , ears and teeth brushing. Absolutely loved this adorable place and their amazing staff! I had been taking my dog to Petsmart for years to have her nails clipped. I was never happy with the service and even felt like they were a little rough with her but I didn't realize there was anywhere else to go. After a particularly negative Petsmart visit I decided I would not be returning and needed to find a new place. While googling, I mostly found full blown dog groomers where nail clipping was more of an add on. Then I found Scenthound and I'm so glad I did! They offer a wide range of packages that include services such as baths, ear cleaning and teeth brushing but all services can also be purchased al a carte. I called to book an appointment and just from my conversation with the receptionist, I felt good about brining my dog to them. I was able to get an appointment the same day which made it even more convenient. When I arrived the staff was so friendly and informative. I ended up doing the nail clipping, grinding and added a plaque treatment. Tooth care is a service I have always been interested in but would never trust Petsmart to do. My dog's nails came out great and we will absolutely be coming back for additional plaque treatments and teeth brushing. Definitely try them out. You won't be sorry! read more

Love it! I used a coupon the first time I went in $10 for a shampoo, nail trim, teeth cleaning and ear cleaning. My pup was in and out in 20 min and he smelt great. They take the dogs in the back so I don't know how good he was for them but he seemed very happy the entire time we were there, and they will give u a report card that says how he is doing. I just moved from Fort Myers to Boynton Beach 2 weeks ago. I am a nurse of 36 years, have a degree in Veterinary Science and I used to groom dogs. I would do it now, but I have bad arthritis in both of my hands and can no longer do it. My dogs needed grooming/hair cuts badly. I thought I would try this place. I went with a list of each dogs name and specifics of how I wanted them to be cut. Wrong mistake, My 2 Maltese I wanted their snout's shaved, they said they can't do that! I am like ok who is paying for these services and aren't the services to please the owner of the pet. I wanted them cut real close to the skin, nope, was all jagged. My teacup poodle came out the best, except she forgot to cut her nails. They told me I should have all the dogs nails grinded, which is an additional $15 per dog. The Poodle and 2 Maltese have lighter white nails so it is easy to see the quick. The Wheaten she has black nails, but I cut her's all the time. I wanted the Wheaten's ears shaved like a Wheaten, nope they didn't do that either, I made them take her back and shave them, they still didn't do it properly. So I am like I will never come back here again. I will have to find out by trial and error to find the perfect groomer who will listen and do what I asked them to do in the beginning. Cost me $235 for 4 dogs and not worth it at all. I guess if they just needed a bath and blow dry they would be fine, but not with specific breed haircuts. I am not a bitch either, all I wanted was my dogs to be cut like I asked them to. read more

I have been coming here for a few months now and are semi-pleased with their services. We have the essential care package with is $35 a month and it includes two baths per month. The staff is very friendly with our dog and he actually loves to get his baths there. My only complain is the fact that they do not dry him very well. We have a 94 lbs German Shepherd and given his size and coat i understand that it can be a little bit of work to dry him. At home when i dry him i have to use 3 towels in order to do a good job. At this place they probably use one the most because when he comes out he is soaking wet. If they could take the extra time to dry him a little better i would be super happy with this place since i really have no other complains or concerns. The location is very convenient and the staff is super nice! (Reason why I gave them three stars) I was reading the reviews and everyone's giving them five stars however my experience was completely different. After my dog was picked up from his pampering time he developed a rash and an allergy we had to rush him to the vet and the vet said that whatever chemical they used to clean his ears as well as tender areas was not properly rinse and dry. So thanks to this visit to the groom we ended up with a 300 dollars bill and a very unhappy dog. read more

Scheduled and reconfirmed the appointments I had scheduled. When I brought my dogs in, they were not on the books and refused to accommodate me. I had the log in my call history of when I called a week prior and still there was nothing that they could do. When asked to speak to a manager, there was no one available. They offered to book me a service at a location 40 minutes away from my house, with a 25% discount. Gee, thanks. I spoke with corporate, and she stated that she would take care of the service for me. When we checked out of the appointments, I was still charged $50. They charged a card that was on file from when I had a membership that was cancelled 6 months ago. The card was not authorized to be on file. When I spoke with corporate in regards to the situation again, she blamed me, said that I misunderstood what she had offered to rectify the situation. This company is out for your money. I am so disappointed and wish I could give zero stars. No customer service and no accountability for their employees making mistakes. read more
