I took my dog out for grooming for the first time at Uptown Dogs Pet Spa. When I picked her up she was still very humid. Once I got home I was checking her paws to see the job they did on her nails and found that they cut them way to close to the quick. I don't see bleeding but three of the nails had the keratin crushes on top of being so close. She is not letting me touch her paws much. I'm monitoring to make sure she does not get an infection or start licking those nails. Not the best impression. On the positive, the ladies there seem to be very nice and loving with the dogs (observed behavior). read more

Don't Go Here I'm a long time customer here with a great, skilled groomer, Chris, but after visiting recently, the "owner" admitted to writing this negative posting and writing on Instagram on a big pink neon sign that they leave dogs "without water, a bathroom break, and locked in a kennel." See for yourself on instagram. That's inhumane! Owning a business is one thing, but not having professional leadership skills to communicate with patrons, particularly loyal customers, is a detriment to service. I will not be going back to a negative environment like this with my loving pet. They are not to be trusted. read more

I haven't had Fourest professionally groomed in YEARS because he always came out looking like a live action Timon no matter what I expressed I wanted and I hated how FROOFY he always looked. Great groomers and customer service. The spa is very clean and smells great. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff is friendly and the waiting area is neat and clean. Unfortunately, my usual groomer wasn't in and I had to get my pet groomed urgently . Ana was the substitute . She ruined my pet's hair. I was sooo disappointed I had to return back to have another groomer try to fix the horrible hair cut. I could've done a better job at chopping off my pet's hair. read more

I have been bringing my two Havanese here for 5+ years. Chris is excellent! They always look great and he is a terrific person, very kind & trustworthy. As my dogs have aged to 15 and 16, he has been especially gentle with them. read more

I just got an update. After asking to see the video surveillance they have in The groomer area, I was told There was an issue with how Cooper was handled. I will not be satisfied until I personally see the video and the groomer is fired. I am Devastated that they put my Cooper through this. I am glad they finally admitted it!!! This place is awesome , my dogs first time at a doggy spa and she loved it , I was helped by Venus she was great with me on the phone explaining there different services , when I arrived I checked in everyone was very pleasant , the place is clean with a nice atmosphere , but most importantly the groomers know what they are doing , my precious came out looking super beautiful . I have NEVER left a review for somewhere because most of time bad service is excusable for one thing or another. That said I am NOT willing to risk the safety of my pet to these people. While I was there picking up my pet today, not one, but TWO dogs escaped from the back room were grooming was being done. The first dog was being held by leash by strangers, who told the front desk lady that it wasn't their dog. Once they informed the woman at the front desk she asked who brought the dog out to them. They responded with "he just came out on his own" After waiting about 5 minutes for my own dog, they brought him out and while the grooming he received seemed excellent, a SECOND...MUCH larger dog came out and rushed towards my dog which was obviously unsettling. Had the front door been open I have no doubt in my mind these dogs would have ran out the front and been lost forever, this is a busy plaza with a LOT of cars and after this experience we will NOT be returning here. Extremely unprofessional, untrained staff, leaving the door to the grooming area open several times in the 10-15 minutes I was there. I will be looking elsewhere read more

Eva got groomed for her very first time today at Uptown Dogs Pet Spa and they were fantastic! They listened to all of my worried-mom concerns and helped Eva feel as comfortable as possible. She is fairly anxious with new things and I could tell she was nervous but well taken care of and not shut down at all. Eva was shedding like crazy and Chris did a great job deshedding her and getting her all clean.. Plus she looks adorbs in her lil bandana. 10/10 will def be coming back read more

I faithfully brought my doodle here for years. I dropped him off and went over to Strathmore. About 20 minutes later, I was driving home and I saw the groomer outside smoking a cigarette which was odd because 20 minutes or so in, where is he? That didn't really sit well but I shrugged it off. When I picked him up the last couple of times, he seemed very nervous and couldn't wait to get out of there. He was panting and out of breath and when I got him home he drank 3 bowls of water and was still extremely thirsty. I don't know what happens back there or if they retrain him. I'm looking for a new place because I just do t trust them there anymore. read more

This place is the best I've been, lived here for almost 17 years and have never been able to find someone that would take care of my baby like I would. They did a phenomenal job. She was cleaned really well and they even gave her a little Halloween bandanna. I have a very fluffy golden retriever and since it's Halloween and she has sensitive ears I asked them to shave her into a lion and gave them a picture. They did it to a T absolute perfection. Also when I picked up my dog she was very happy she has so much anxiety but she was doing very well here. Highly recommend. read more

I went thinking my dog would have a nice grooming, was I wrong!!! my dog came out after almost three hours panting as if she was dyin, she couldn't catch her breath! they offered her some water but she collapsed on the floor first. I asked what had happened and got no answer! I went to take her home, she couldn't even get into the car, she collapsed again. I got her home and she ended up drinking almost 4 large bowls of water, but she couldn't drink out of her stand, because she couldn't stand up long enough,so I had to put it on the floor so she could get to it. That night she peeded and had diarrhea all over. She had a big gap on one side of her coat where she was gouged with a clipper. She's still traumatized! I don't suggest anyone use them! didn't want to use a star at all!!! read more
