It's been almost a year since my ordeal with Scenthound Henderson. There was a response posted today and to be clear, it was their staff who said my girl had yeast on her feet, recommended the antifungal treatment and it was their staff who then said they dont provide an antifungal treatment and wouldn't bathe my dogs until I proved I took them to the vet. Anyone who pays hundreds of dollars a month on their dogs is going to take them to the vet. I took both my dogs to their vet at the first open appointment which was within a day or 2 and neither dog had yeast at all. SMH, anyway they wouldn't give me all of my money back but, I'm glad I'm no longer dealing with them. I posted my experience on this app because it was a post on this app that was the reason I decided to try this groomer. I will say that the actual grooming was good, its the upsetting, the subscription and the scheduling that we found to be unreasonable. They promote the subscription as something that rolls over to the next month if you dont use it. That isn't really the case exactly. It rolls over but, then is not treated as money in the bank to use as you wish. They restrict how you use it. For example, when we closed the account, there was $50. Still in it. I wanted some products they sell to use up the $50. They said I couldn't use that money on products. So, they kept my money. read more

Such a nice group that work here. I only met the front desk ladies, but they were friendly, understanding (I was 15 minutes late, yikes!) and were kind to my furbabies. I dropped them off, they texted me about 2 hours later and I went to pick them up. They smelled like delicate shampoo and their hair was glossy, blushed and you could tell a lot of deshedding happened behind the scenes. They were not overly pushy on starting a subscription which tbh is super affordable compared to other groomers! $35 basic and add ons like sanitary trim is $12 or $13?! Seriously?! Okay! My girls will be returning monthly! Scenthound, the doggie salon is located in the Vons shopping center on Pecos and Windmill, super clean and organized, check them out! read more

I found this place on facebook and they were having a special for 39 dollars so I took my dogs and they charged me 189 total for both of them,they said when I checked in they went over the princess of each service and that was a lie,so be careful when you guys go to this establishment,make sure they don't scam you read more

Let me start by saying, the first time we brought my pup in, everything was amazing. We had just rescued him and he needed a lot of work. The ladies in the office were so great to him and he came out clean and brushed and we were so pleased, we signed up for the memebership. The next 3 visits were not. On the website, it says that the basic membership includes a towel dry, but the posters inside the office do not say that. The next 3 times I picked up my pup, he was soaking wet and was never brushed at all. When i asked why he was coming out wet every time, I was told that if I wanted them to dry him, I would have to pay for the barber services which was an extra 40.00 dollars... on top of what i have already paid to have him washed. At first I didnt realize how much they getting out of me, then I realized I'm paying 35.00 a month for them to just wet my dog with some soap and then hand him back to me. Every time I have brought him in, when they are ready to take him to the back, they simply have me take off his harness (hes a small 13 lb dog) and hand him to the girl. The last time I was in there, my pup was shaking and scared and the girl came out with a rope and tried to lasso him like a wild animal, and the more he edged for the door the tighter the rope got around his neck. Thats when I decided that this place was probably not the best fit for us. Like I said before, the ladies are very nice and I was pleased for a while, but I just cant afford to pay 90.00 to have my dog washed and DRIED every month. read more

We moved here from Northern California 3 or so years and had a fantastic groomer for our puppies and went through quite a few trials and tribulations with cheaper and expensive places ( even mobile come to you type) and had minimal success until this place moved into our neighborhood. My wife found them and they have been great at least so far hoping nothing goes to heck in a handbag anytime soon. Now you can call and make an appointment and walk in (I think) or you can (and it seems like most people do) have a membership and bring puppies in once a month for grooming, nails, and a prostate exam (being sarcastic but men will relate) for one reasonable price. There are 3 different levels (sort of a good,better,best) depending on what u want, or they (puppies) want. We have been here 3x and they are superb. The dogs get cleaned, groomed etc and are healthier for it. We always schedule them for the next time when we pick them up. The front isn't crowded with dogs out front like some places are. They never seem rushed to help you and your subscription gives you a discount on anything you get one time and they even give you a "report card" on your animals health. So far I love this place. Now why do I say so far? Because I've raved about places and had them go south later. These guys are amazing give them a try you will be sold on them after day one! read more

i took my Shepard Doodle to get groomed and just wanted a bath and a trim. When I picked him up they had shaved him so short he has a razor burn on the back of his neck. In addition they appeared to have shaved around his face! Instead of trimming and even cut his whiskers. I would not recommend this place. read more
