I've heard most times this recalibration is not needed, but if it turns out it IS needed, you'd have to take it somewhere else at a cost of $250-$700, or as much as $1,000 at a dealership! No thank you! Especially after the already expensive windshield! My tech was Kyle and, boy, was he sharp! When he arrived he told me it would take around an hour, I believe he finished the windshield installation, recalibration and cleanup in around 30 minutes - no small feat for my big Honda Odyssey on his own - and returned from the test drive in under 10 minutes. It was easy to pay with any type of credit card, even AmEx, and all told I think it was about 40 minutes. The owner, Steve, was a pleasure to talk to, as was Kyle, A couple of easygoing guys. I definitely made the right choice! And, if ever I have the need again, I will probably only be putting out a call for one quote ... from MasterTech.

Central Auto body was referred to me by my auto detailer. My detailer knows how particular I am about work performed on my automobile, so my expectations were high. Wow, did they blow me away. I made all sorts of special request and scheduling needs, Chris made all of it easy. It has been hard to find an auto body shop where I was completely satisfied with the quality of work. Technicians at Central Auto body did an excellent job on my repair. The area of repair looks better than new. Thank you Central Auto Body Rebuilders for a stress-free repair experience.

I have waited about 3 months to post my review of the services I received from Central Auto Body…read more My car was handed over 3/24 I was told that my car would be completed in about 2 weeks but ultimately received it back on 4/24. During this time, I was calling the office multiple times across the weeks asking for an update due to the promised finished timelines from the staff. Almost every time it kept getting pushed back, one moment it was at this percentage complete another was that the work hasn't even been started yet. I wouldn't have had an issue with the duration if they were realistic about the timeline. I was optimistic at first that it would be finished in the 2-weeks as my rental reimbursement funds from my insurance company would be enough for two weeks. Time kept ticking and I got concerned that I would have to come out of pocket for an extended rental. Fast forward, after an additional 2 weeks I can pick up my car, I get back home and I see scratches on parts of the vehicles that weren't apart of the hail damage. (Almost as if it was dragged on the ground :) ) The seal on one of my head lights were smashed under the lamp. My car had to go back for repair for an additional two days and even still where they made the repair the paint is still missing. Since then, I've found other odd things like the plastic backend of the roof lip is not as secure as the other side and weird marks on my roof rails. I don't have the energy to bring my car back and not knowing when I would get it back. On the many trips to the office, I ran into other individuals who were also bringing their cars back for repairs after they were originally fixed. Some of them on their 3rd or 4th round. The pictures they gave of my car pre PDR did not show the preexisting damage. Pros: They did offer a 10% discount for the total cost of my service. They offered me a ride back home after every time I had to drop my car off. This is a plus for sure and shows good customer service. The staff appeared nice, but I felt gaslighted when I reported the additional problems that weren't there previously. Cons: It took too long in my opinion, and I did not like that the date kept getting moved. The 10% I saved went towards car transportation expenses. I did not like that my car had additional issues that were not present when I dropped it off. Would I recommend them, no. Will I go back, no. I don't know if they will treat my car well and I didn't like the staff member with the blonde short cut, he gaslit me about these scratches telling me these marks were from a soft, bristled brush. My car was not perfect, but it is not in the same state it was before it was dissembled. Lastly, my husband also got his car repaired here for hail damages and he also has a loose panel on the left back end of his camaro that is NOT secure, but the right side is fine. Mind you these are pieces that did not have any hail damage work done to them. I've attached two videos of both of our cars with the same goofy attachment issue. During our many times at the office we separately ran into different customers who've had to take their car back multiple times btw. 2 stars since the hail damage is repaired.

She said they would call to set up an appointment. I was called later that afternoon, and was able to make an appointment for just two days later. You have the option of going to the store, or having them come to you. I showed up at the assigned time, and they already had all the info from my insurance, so I just needed to give them my key, and wait in their comfortable lobby. The job was completed in less than an hour, I got instructions on what I needed to do so the new window didn't shift and cured properly, and they even vacuumed my floorboards. The experience was quick and painless, and the techs were professional and helpful.

My family planned our entire day around this appointment, only to receive a call after the appointment window had already started informing me that it was being canceled. I understand that unforeseen issues can arise, but providing notice after the scheduled service window begins is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for your customers' time. Had I been notified earlier, I could have adjusted my plans accordingly. Customer service is about communication and reliability. Unfortunately, this experience fell well short of expectations. I hope the company takes steps to improve scheduling and communication so other customers do not have to deal with the same frustration." If you'd like to put a little more pressure on them while still sounding professional, you could add: "As someone who manages customer relationships for a living, I know things don't always go as planned. What matters is proactive communication. Waiting until the appointment window has begun to cancel is simply not acceptable."

Since I mentioned a special they had for Angie's List members as well as taking off $$ for dropping my G off, it reduced my final amount considerably. I dropped my G off the next morning when they opened and had a return phone call for pickup within a couple hours. When I picked up my car, she looked great and they left it in the clean condition I gave it to them. I picked…read moreone of the higher end tints, and paid the extra amount to have them remove the existing tint. First, when I got the car home and started looking more closely at the tint, I noticed that there were tint scraps and some kind of dried up residue in several places throughout the inside and outside of the car. Bits of tint material were stuck to the seats, the trim, and exterior paint. The tint itself seemed installed well enough from what I could tell. What really took the cake, though, was that three days after we got the car back, the headliner adjacent to the rear window started to come off the ceiling. Within two days, the headliner had become completely detached from the ceiling from the back window all the way up to just behind the driver seat. When I confronted Tint Crafters about this, they first claimed no responsibility whatsoever. After explaining that we've never had issues with the headliner until this moment, and pressing on that several times, they finally stated that, yes, the technician had noted that in the process of removing the tint, they had damaged the adhesive that holds the headliner to the ceiling (they use a heat gun to remove the old tint, and that had heated up the adhesive on the headliner and pulled part of it away while removing the old tint). So, they went from claiming they definitely didn't do it to definitely doing it, but not actually accepting responsibility, and instead placing blame on the age of the car, making it still my fault. There was NEVER any mention of the possibility that they would damage the headliner in removing the tint. After continuing to press the matter, the furthest that Tint Crafters would go was covering the material cost of replacing the headliner, with me covering labor. And even that offer was laid on thick with a guilt treatment. I would highly recommend steering clear of this business.
