Placed 2 separate orders under the same number. Received the soup from one of the orders and got our number taken away. They did not bring out our Roll or our Sandwiches. I had to go to the counter. Was offered stupid cookies for the inconvenience. Lady sitting behind us got refunded for them bringing her the wrong soup. I'm sure the food will be good once I get it. But still waiting and just disappointed with what must've been poor communication in the back that had led to not getting our food and having to sit 30 minutes waiting for it. read more

Yum! I hadn't been to a Schlotzky's since the 90s and it's still delicious! I ordered a medium Turkey combo, with no olives or Mayo and added garlic butter. I learned the sins say with original sauce but it's no longer on the sandwiches. The garlic butter was very flavorful and added a great zip! My husband ordered the roast beef calzone which comes with au jus dipping sauce. This was more like a folded sandwich and came with mushrooms and lots of melty cheese. The cheese was super stretchy and the whole thing was just delicious! We shared the salt and vinegar chips and both agreed they had a slight dill flavor. Loved our experience! The facilities were clean, the service was personable and friendly. Would definitely dine hear again - not too far off the highway if you are traveling and looking for a great pit stop. read more

Great options and great food. The chip selection was unique and did not disappoint. The sandwiches were piled with meat and delicious.

We love Wednesday's Bogo pizza. They have gluten-free, and of course it does cost two dollars more. My only complaint is they often forget the free veggies that I tag on them on the mobile order---Other than that it's wonderful. I guess pictures later lol Per Rita. read more

The bacon smokecheesy sandwich is the best. My 19 month old loved the little grilled cheese sandwich they made.

No problem with food. The problem is there is no changing table at all. This is a problem for anyone with young children. Our son is 4 but has spina bifida and can't control his bladder or bowels on his own. I had to go outside this location to do his catheter on a little triangle piece of grass near the drive thru. Think about what it says to anyone with disabilities or anyone caring for someone with disabilities. I wouldn't come back for this reason alone. read more

Wow, for years I have loved Schlotzsky's, never been to this location before, never coming back! I placed an online order about 15 minutes ahead of time, because I had to get in and out. It said seven minutes, figured great! I get there, they didn't make my sandwich, because " we ain't got no big buns" they offered to make me two smaller sandwiches, because it was the same thing, the whole point of ordering this I had a time, is because I was in a serious time crunch and did not have time to wait, thought I was doing a good thing, but the evil sandwich slingers at Schlotzsky's ruined my whole day. read more

They have added an Italian addendum to their offerings of sandwiches & soup Boy has it made a difference. The wife tried the tomato-basil canestrelli, she said it was not hot(temperature wise) but good tasting. My Sicilian Ciabatta was excellent!! It contained shaved ham with a sharp provolone cheese, pepperoni, Cotto and Genoa salami, roasted red bell pepper,and a blend of olives and pepperoncini finished with Spring field greens and Roma tomato. There was a small quantity of oil and vinegar dressing which added to its spicy qualities. The next time I dine here I plan on trying A sausage and pepper pasta with a mild goat cheese. The only thing that would please me more about this chain would be to get rid of the cafeteria atmosphere. read more

This is a fancy subway. I was not too impressed. The staff was super polite. The turkey on my sandwich was precut and thick and fake looking, super processed foods here. Yea they bake the breads and pastries but that doesn't cover up the processed meats. read more

I make it a point to come here every time I drive through Battle Creek. I love this place. The sandwich bread alone is worth the drive. The have also pizzas, soups, salads, and wraps. Horrible example of a deli. We walked in and grabbed menus, nobody at the front counter to take our orders. Okay, let's figure out what we want. Took a few minutes to decide, watching the front, nobody has gone to the register yet. After five minutes, we finally went up to order. We already knew what we wanted for a few minutes but decided to wait for someone to attend the register. As we were waiting, family of three, at the register, we see staff in the kitchen area, and listened into their conversation. They were, while not attending to customers, complaining about customers! One was literally yelling (people in the dining area looked!) about a customer, calling her stupid. It crossed the line when she yelled "F*** her! She didn't order that!" With children who heard it in the dining area and a fourteen-year-old at the register, this was unacceptable. After complaining loudly about customers and not attending customers, we finally decided to leave. We went to the kitchen's outside area and said that we were leaving due to their lack of service, and they rolled their eyes. After we left, we saw a drive-thru line of five cars, all very bored looking drivers. Find a different place to eat if you plan to go here. We did. read more

Schlotzky's is usually a favorite place of mine, but after my last visit I don't think I will be back for a while. I stopped on a Monday at 6pm, with 1 car in front of me in the drive thru. My wait was about 15 minutes, which I expect a wait for their type of food. So that wasn't a big deal. I ordered an original meal with a lg sprite. My sandwich wasn't great, rather skimpy compared to usual. But when I got to my destination I opened my sprite to pour it into another cup (I didn't realize a large was so big and wanted a smaller cup to carry in to class) and there was a long black hair in it! Also what looked like a couple sesame seeds floating around. I was so disgusted as I had been drinking it all the way there. The sesame seeds ok, I can see those being missed. But how did the person putting the lid on not see the giant black hair? A white cup with clear liquid, it stood out like a sore thumb. If I go back, I'll be sure to check my drinks.
