Attention to detail has been dropping consistently this year. Along with your review score. ??? Easy way to explain it. Look at the pic. Uneven toppings, random placement and overcooked. I can throw chicken and cheese in the oven and over cook it. Apologies for the review, because I am a huge consumer, but come on Schlot's....please bring back your 'A' game!! Thanks.

What T-Mobile said I was going to get.

Glad I only paid for the drink, and $2.69 is ridiculous. Great way to make a promotion ensure I don't go back

Perhaps it's fitting that Ol' Rooster's 600th review pertains to his home turf AKA Drippin' Springs. Come to think of it; I've missed a few State of North Hays County Dining Reports this year. Well, more progress to report with our own Schlotzky's opening up this morning to a line of eager patrons. That line in fact was a give away for a free sandwich a week for a year. Line started last night around 8pm and ended up snaking around the building. Adjacent businesses threatening to tow all the cars parked for those lucky enough to claim the 100 offered cards. I personally was not among those crazies; instead waiting for lunch after the mayhem. The space was clean and inviting. Guys on laptops in suits greeted me at the door; although I don't think this will be the normal uniform. Ordering process is simple. Well stocked drink station; HDTV's for your viewing pleasure on the south side of the building. An extra 50 staffers on hand to make sure your first visit was a pleasant one. For years in restaurants I've avoided the pretzel bun. Every burger or sandwich I've ever encountered with this novelty has been fairly terrible. Picture said bun sitting in the freezer for a few months until someone FINALLY decides to order it. You then get a bun half thawed with with some grill marks leaving a overly tough exterior. Seeing that Schlotzsky's had paired up with mall favorite Auntie Annie's I decided if I could be impressed one more time. Well, both sides of the bun were flavorful and soft. IT DOES EXIST! The Beef Chief paired three cheeses, caramelized onions, and a flavorful au jus which worked well with the soft bun. One note, the onions were severely lop sided to one side of the sammich. I hope they can keep up the quality once the corporate brass leaves and have a good run in our growing Hill Country town. UPDATE: After several visits I had to knock off a star. The printed menu offers a Reuben; yet they have no sour kraut to actually make it. Can't be that hard to keep some kraut in the walk in; that stuff lasts forever!

Extremely slow service waited well over 30 minutes in the drive through for our food. No explaining the why the food took so long.

AKA MEAT! toppings were fresh around the board - and everyone raved about their sandwiches - all had different breads and they were talked about too. i got the french dip $15 and could only manage to put away 1/4 of it. meat was tender & well seasoned, good cheese ratio (i skipped onions & horseradish mayo) and au jus was very good. cant remember the last time a group order or various dishes received rave reviews across the board! side special of carrot fries was hot, fresh, well salted & surprisingly yummy. i dont like carrots - in any form - but i guess i have now found a form i like! side cheese curls was SO chewy-licious seasoned in garlic butter! and dont skip the desserts! several of us got the lemon bar $4 which was everything bright and good! i also got a NY style b&w cookie $5 that was a big as my hand. service was fast & friendly and amazingly perfectly accurate - important if you are taking food to go. which might be a good idea at peak times. seating at bar, and a few hightops with 2 hightops for 2 outside. also a picnic table outside. we all have other dishes we are anxious to go back and try. and in a town where a lot of places roll up their shops after lunch, its nice that turcotte's stays open til 9. meats by the pound available as well.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Thyme & Dough…read more Per my confirmed order ticket, I arrived and placed my order at 9:13 a.m. I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two iced coffees, and my total came to $42.80, including a 20% tip. After waiting over 20 minutes without any update, I asked around 9:34 a.m. how much longer my order would take. Instead of simply apologizing or providing an update, the employee checked my payment time and told me that the wait was "right on target" for a good breakfast. When I politely expressed that the wait seemed excessive for what I had ordered, she reiterated that this was normal and that good food takes time to prepare. I didn't feel those comments were necessary--they made me feel dismissed rather than understood. She also stated there had been a long line ahead of us, which wasn't accurate. When I arrived at 9:13, there was only one customer finishing her order at the register. I finally received my food at approximately 9:38 a.m. While I understand that fresh food takes time, a 25-minute wait for two breakfast sandwiches and two iced coffees, especially with no proactive communication, felt excessive. A simple acknowledgment of the delay or a more empathetic response would have made a significant difference. Instead, I left feeling that my concerns were brushed aside. Between the lengthy wait, the dismissive interaction, and the overall experience, I didn't feel the service justified the price or the 20% tip that was included in my purchase. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

It's located in a shopping center location behind a McDonalds. Immediately, upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner who was very warm and friendly. They had detroit style or NY style pizzas with a decent amount of options. My friends got the NY style supreme and we got the the detroit style NY Omygosh its good style pizza which was essentially pepperoni and ricotta, which are a nice combo of mine and my wife's favorite toppings. Both pizzas were fantastic and different and delicious in their own way. We used their flat iron seasonings which we were all geeking out over while waiting for our pizzas. They were really good and a nice compliment to the pizza and I thought it was cool the owner had a partnership to sell those along with some hot honey too. The owner checked on us several times and probably was the most engaging owner I've met at any restaurant. For drinks, they had craft sodas in their fountain machine and I got the Dr pepper version which was tasty. Pickup seems to be the most efficient approach with not a ton of tables and no public restrooms.

One half of the pizza was supposed to be pesto with extra pepperoni and jalapeños. The other half was ordered with extra pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and jalapeños. Instead, my half arrived with only vegetables, no sausage, no pepperoni, and not even the extra pepperoni we paid for. My husband's half was also missing the jalapeños. To make matters worse, our $13 Caesar salad came without the Caesar dressing. We were also charged for chicken when we ordered it without chicken. When I called to let them know about the mistakes, the employee said she was transferring me to the manager. The person I spoke with did not sound like a manager, she sounded like the young girl who took my order and showed absolutely no concern that our order had been completely messed up. There was no apology, no offer to replace the food, and no offer to refund the items we paid for but never received. We spent over $55 on an order that ended up in the trash. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds is what matters. Unfortunately, the complete lack of customer service was even more disappointing than the food itself. If you're charging customers for extra toppings, make sure they're actually on the pizza. And if you make this many mistakes on one order, your staff should be trained to make it right, not act like it's the customer's problem.

They are locating right in downtown Marble Falls. There sandwiches are fresh but their signature sandwich is the chicken salad sandwich. You have a choice of white or wheat bread and the bread is also very fresh. They serve with ruffle style chips and a pickle spear. I also had their "Club" sandwich. This is served with Ham, Turkey and Roast Beef. I understand what is on the menu, but I do not understand why they call it a club. A traditional club is a triple decker sandwich with meat (usually just turkey but sometimes turkey and ham) with bacon and cut into quarters. The "club" sandwich they serve is three meats, no bacon and not a triple decker sandwich so I am not sure why they call it a Club sandwich. It was tasty, but I ordered because I thought it would be a traditional club sandwich. In all fairness, it does not say bacon on the menu. Again, fresh sandwiches and I highly recommend. I look forward to coming back and trying some of the other sandwiches but you cannot go wrong if you order their special Chicken Salad.
