Ordered the Fiesta Chicken (small), it was very flavorful. I was shocked how fluffy the bread was. It wasn't loaded but I did get extra sauce. I also ordered a delicious strawberry lemonade but the side Mac was horrendous. However, I would definitely come back to try another sandwich. read more

I have not seen a Schootzykys in over a decade. I was happy to finally see an all-time fav from the early 2000s and I had to take a trip down memory lane. The staff here and patient and welcoming. The restaurant dining room is clean and spacious. I ordered the small Turkey club sandwich and a Greek salad. The food was delicious and fresh just as I remembered. No complaints. read more

This restaurant chain is nostalgic for me. I adored the Texas Schlotskys which is no longer on the menu. However, the manager helped mimic it with the original with jalapeño cheddar bread. I added jalapeños to the sandwich and probably should have removed olives/added cheese? Overall, not as great as I recall but there are few things that are. My dad and I were on a road trip together and were trying to find a good place to get some lunch. I used to love going to Schlotzky's but haven't gone to one in years cause their isn't one close to where I live now. My dad had never been to one before. So we decided to try it and we were not disappointed. I ordered the veggie pizza and my dad ordered a steak sandwich. We both loved it. The pizza has such a great combination of veggies with a little pesto. The crust is amazing too. My dad tried a piece and loved mine as well. If you aren't super hungry or ordered an app you could split this pizza with someone or have enough for later. My dad loved his sandwich. He had me look up if there are any of these near where he lives so he can go again. The food was great, the prices reasonable and the service was fast and friendly. read more

The food was pretty good but honestly, I think it was the employee that made the difference. He said his name was Ron and I could not have been happier with the service he provided! He kept a smile the entire time which made me and my mom feel very welcome and appreciated. Whenever we would thank him for the food and/or service, he would always thank US for being so kind. (Even though he deserved every bit of kindness he can get). He was so kind the entire time and told everyone who left to have a blessed day. Travel here from Mint Hill. I grew up in St.Louis and was familiar with the sandwich shop. Took my very picky and cynical husband (from the Bronx). The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating! They explained the menu with different sandwiches, even as line was forming behind us! (Sorry!) Our sandwiches arrived fresh with hot bread. When my husband noted he didn't have bacon in his sandwich and I only had a single slice the staff remade my husband sandwich and brought me a couple of pieces of bacon! A friend and I stopped here two days ago. My friend placed her order first...to a new employee. The menu with pricing was on the wall. My friends order for a turkey sandwich was $17 and change!! Another employee said her selection came with her selection of chips and a drink. The price on the menu board was $9 dollars and change. She questioned the manager R.J. about the cost of the meal and she said "there is nothing I can do about it. The price is in the register". We said that was false advertising and we should be charged the price listed. Again, we told her it was false advertising. She just insisted she couldn't change it....period! My friend said to take the charge of her card as she wasn't going to pay over$17 for something priced in plain sight at $9.plus. After being told the chips and drink went with it by a male employee, they only refinanced $14. and change. My friend said to give her the $3 plus back in currency. Nope, R.J had an excuse for not doing that also!! We asked for the owners name and phone number. We left knowing we would NEVER try that place again!! My friend called the owners, no answer but left a message for them to call her. NEVER HAPPENED! Will also notify BBB as this was definitely false advertising as J.R. said they just haven't gotten around to changing the board, just the computer connected to the register. One of the best sandwich spots around. I love the sourdough bread and they also have some really good carrot cake. Yesterday we stopped in for lunch I ordered the half turkey sandwich and half California chicken avocado pizza. The pizza was sooo good. While my daughter had a turkey sandwich kids meal with added cucumbers and tomatoes. She enjoyed all but the bread. The customer service from the man who took my order was lacking. No real greetings. The restaurant changed hands not long ago and the food is still really good, but some items has changed a little bit and the decorations are not that good. Everyone I've ever spoken to have been really nice. I just don't like the new decor and some of the changes to certain sandwiches and soups. read more

First time visitor, decided to stop in before Spider Verse at the Regal Cinema. Ordered a veggie sandwich came with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and ranch dressing. Everything's good with ranch, right!!! Not! Oh my goodness this sandwich was absolutely horrible. The lettuce was shredded the tomato was so thin you could barely see it,the wrong type of onion was used as it did not complement the sandwich it was harsh and bitter you could barely taste the ranch and why would you melt the slice of cheese.. Next time I desired to have a meatless Monday I will drive five minutes up Franklin Boulevard to Jimmy John's where the veggie sandwich is spectacular! I gave one because I had too! read more
