Upon entering the shop, I noticed it wasn't a huge place, but just enough. It was a typical sub shop setup, featuring several tables and chairs, should you prefer to dine in instead of takeout. I was greeted warmly and professionally by Brandy. I explained it was my first time trying Capriotti's, so she took the time to welcome me, explain the different subs and sizes, and recommended certain food items based on what I like to eat. I'm certainly a cheesesteak aficionado, as we have some phenomenal sub shops up North. So, I ordered the American Wagyu Cheesesteak Sub, consisting of sweet peppers, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar dressing. I received my order in a reasonable amount of time. When I tell you that the sub was seasoned to perfection and was delicious, it is not an exaggeration. I was very pleased with the service and my food. Every so often, I get a craving for a meatball sub and it can't be denied. So when I was out and about at lunchtime, I headed to Capriotti's. Thankfully, they have the sub sizes laid out so you know that the medium is actually rather large. So I did that and now I have a 12 inch (or so) meatball sub to unwrap. Hot, fresh, loaded with meatballs and cheese. Nicely melted and tasty though I would say that meatballs were a little bit pink inside. Still, delicious and I enjoyed it. Great food and great service, what more could you ask for? The employees greeted us as soon as we entered and were friendly throughout our time here. The service was quick and everything was delicious. Also, whoever is in charge of the music deserves props as well. I heard some songs I haven't heard in years and could've sat there enjoying the music all day. Now as for the food, this place offers an interesting selection of sandwiches beyond the typical sandwich shop menu. One in particular really caught my eye so I just had to try it. The Bobbie is thanksgiving on a sub roll and is every bit as delicious as you would imagine. Maybe even more so because the turkey and stuffing aren't dry like some people serve during the holidays. The bread is fresh, the flavors are great, and the portions are very filling. Total perfection! You can order this sandwich hot or cold; I decided to go with hot but I feel like both would be great in their own right just by how amazing the flavors all work together. I love that this is on the menu all year long and isn't just a seasonal thing. I can see me ordering this every trip, but I want to check out their cheesesteaks too. It'll be a tough call on my next visit. My husband had the grilled chicken parmesan sub which also delivered great flavor. The sauce was SO good, even if it made things a little more messy. It may not photograph well but trust me, it makes up for that in taste. Especially with the soft bread and mixture of veggies, sauce, and chicken. And the fries... they really surprised me! I don't think I've ever had fries cut like these. They're wide cut but thin at the same time. They were freshly cooked and crispy. I could see if these weren't cooked right, they could be soft and floppy, but this place seems to have it down to a science of how to cut and cook them to be perfectly crisp. They were seasoned just right too. You get a cup full and we even had a decent amount in the bag as well. More than enough to share between us given how filling the subs are. This place doesn't seem to skimp on anything so from the subs to the side of fries, we had plenty of food to share. It was the only meal I had all day and I'm pretty sure it'll hold me well into tomorrow at this rate. I'm already looking forward to visiting again in the near future. While out running errands yesterday, I decided to pick up a late lunch and take it home. I'd never been to Capriotti's, and wanted something new, so I stopped by. The meatball sub sounded good, so I placed my order. I was greeted quickly when I walked in (I was the only customer in the store at that time) and waited about 7 minutes for my sub. While I waited, the staff were talking amongst themselves, and the lady who had taken my order made the comment "can you believe someone wants the 4 inch cut in half? I'm not doing that, and I'm putting a knife in the bag and telling them to do it themselves". Not a good look with a customer standing there. Maybe it was for a child, and they needed it smaller to be handled better. Got home to eat my sub, and while it was good, I don't think it was worth the $18 I paid for it. I got the small (which is an 8 inch) and got chips and a drink. There was a ton of extra sauce on it, which made it soggy by the time I drove 5 minutes home. I think this was the first Capriotti's franchise in town, but it's the second location I visited as the second location is closer to my house near South Park Mall. That being said, not really sure why the reviews on this location were so much lower. Service was great, and my sandwiches were made perfectly. Now, I am a Capriotti's veteran, having eaten at the original location in Delaware, several locations on the East Coast and their Arizona locations, so I may be a bit biased. That being said, I think the Capriottis makes some of the best hoagies, so if you're in the mood for something, definitely pull up. And make sure you at least try the Bobbie one time. In my opinion, it's definitely not the best sandwich in America. Took 20 minutes to get our order, which we appreciate it being cooked fresh... but it wasn't busy (not many tickets). Then, after waiting 20 minutes, the sandwiches were wrong. The Italian sausage sandwich, which was ordered with marinara on the side, was smothered and a soggy nightmare. It looked disgusting and inedible (see pic unwrapped as is on site). I ordered the Italian, which was straightforward, but my bread was soggy bread that only fish and ducks would eat. We had to wait another 5 minutes to get a new Italian sausage sandwich. No offer for a refund, discount, or maybe something small for free. 25-30 minutes wait at a sandwich shop is a little crazy IMO. The only reason I would give it 3 stars would be due to the fries being really good, but the soggy sandwich was just nasty. read more

This was my third go at this new Capriotti's location. First time was good, second time part of my order was forgotten, but this time all went without a hitch. I ordered online for pickup and when I arrived, I was quickly informed my order was being worked on as we spoke. I wasn't there five minutes. I ordered something new this time around. The French fries with pastrami on them and the Italian sausage Sandwich. The Italian sausage was not in the casing, which was an interesting twist. My son enjoyed it very much. This food is so SO good. My partner and I went to try them out around grand opening and returned twice in the same day. The manager was very helpful and friendly. I'm vegan and he helped me order my impossible version of the cheesesteak. I recommend adding both sweet and hot peppers to anything you order it makes all the difference haha I recently went back sometime last week and received the same great experience. This time it was a woman managing and they were very very busy but everyone was professional and did their best to accommodate. I had two separate orders, one for my partner and one for myself. I ordered through the online system at 12:23pm. I received a text and email confirmation the order was received and would be ready by 1pm. I arrive at the store location where the staff proceeds to tell me they do not have my order. They then tell me I need an email, I show them the email and they still say they do not have the order. Then the person says I was being rude. I told her no ma'am I am intentionally being very calm but direct to make sure we resolve the situation. I would not be rude to someone who has to prepare my food. I then ask how do you plan to resolve the situation. She then says, let me look at our system again, all of a sudden the order is there. She tells the team to put a rush on my sandwich and advises me it will be ready in 7min. I walk out of the store to sit in my car to finish listening to a sermon from Sunday. I go back in the store 10min later to get my sandwich. I was told I had 20 sandwiches in front of me and they could not tell me how much longer it would be. Then I ask for a refund. I was told they were busy and it could take 5-7business days to get my money back. I decided to leave and eat the cost of the $14 sandwich. It was not worth the stress and at that point I was very irritated and did not want to take it out on the young lady at the front. All that to say, I will never go to this restaurant again. Visited during lunch time opening day and it was PACKED!! I guess everyone is excited to see something new in the area outside of the chain restaurants that continue to pop up here! Thank you David & Troy for giving the Steele Creek area a chance. We need more of this! Anyways although busy, there was no wait to order. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I appreciate my cashier for being very knowledgeable of the menu and giving me the option (not making selection hisself) for certain things l. We got a small and large regular cheesesteak which come with your choice of sweet or hot peppers. The cashier didn't hesitate to ask which I prefer which was nice because I definitely would have forgot to specify. We also got the thin fries and a drink totaling roughly $30. It took 17 mins exactly for our food to be ready which wasn't bad at all seeing how packed it was with both dine in and to go guest! Download app, scan your receipt to start earning points! The food: our sandwiches were hot and delicious. I only wish I had more lol! One suggestion would to be add more cheese to the sandwich but other than that very good. Was visiting Fort Mill, SC for work and knew I had to make the drive over to Capriotti's to feed my Bobbie fix. For some added context, I'm from San Diego and we used to have a Capriotti's here but it closed a few years ago. I got there pretty late, after 8pm and I was the only customer there. Nothing really alarming about that because the workers were making sandwiches for to go and delivery orders. I was immediately greeted and was told that they would be right there to take my order. I ordered The Bobbie with chips and a soda. Pro tip - Get it served warm, it makes a huge difference! This sandwich has everything that brings back all the feels of Thanksgiving - Roasted turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. It comes with mayo but I think would be the best sandwich ever if it came with gravy...or even just a side of gravy for dipping. Anyways, after devouring my sandwich I was happy and I think I'll be able to wait until Thanksgiving time to make my own with leftovers. This shop just opened lose to my house and I decided to give it a try and that has made me comeback more times that I had imagined I would do it. My favorite is the 5" Wagyu steak sandwich as it comes with cheese, mushrooms, onions and some more if you want it. To that was a nice serving size as I could then try their fries and they are delicious! They are cut thick and are very crunchy. It's so good that writing this review is making me want it for lunch now! I'm very set when I like something very much that makes it hard to try another one, so far that has been my choice and they are very consistent with it as it is was delicious every time I have been there. Their service is good and depending on the time you go you may wait a little, for that reason I started calling beforehand and placing my order so I can come in and have it ready for me. She had no clue what "condiments" were...what sandwich place with an Italian name doesn't carry Italian dressing for their Italian sub? ...or banana peppers? It also seemed a little expensive.
