They are terrible. I suspect that they sabotaged my car. It was under warranty and claim a rock or some thing caused damage to the ac compressor. Obviously they say it's not covered. And didn't have the replacement parts and couldn't prove they didn't do it. read more

The people at Honda were super nice and said they could take care of the dents for me. Their price was super reasonable and they did a great job. They were very friendly and easy to work with. I was told the car i bought wasn't smoked in which was a lie. In addition I was going to pay over $1200.00 for repairs. My son in law put an air filter in which was all that was needed. Run run run away from this dealership. I knew what car I wanted and bought from them because of their "Schompfidence" policy. The kicker is you have to have all of your servicing done there. It takes FOUR TO FIVE hours to an oil change and tire rotation. Something that should take an hour, MAX. They force you to rent a car which is $10 an hour. I can only hope that this review helps someone else who is considering Schomp Honda as a dealership. I should have been more leary about about my experiences before today, as I have had many disappointing ones leading up to this one. I never bothered. to look at the reviews on all platforms and wish that I had. When you have as many 1-star reviews as you do 5-star reviews, something is seriously off. Please read them all, as they will tell you exactly what to expect. I would not have wasted my time with them, as it appears the poor ethics of this company are across all departments. To start, when purchasing the car, I told my salesperson I wasn't interested in their warranty. I do most of my work and drive 100 miles per day, so it did not make sense for me to purchase their Protect One Plan. After multiple false truths about what the warranty would cover, brakes and rotors (regardless of whether they were needed, just request prior to the warranty running out), a broken windshield would be replaced at no charge. I reluctantly agreed. Not only did they not cover any of these, but they charged me $209 to have my brakes looked at, calling it a diagnostic fee that I requested. I simply asked them to check the depth of the brake pads and see if they were below 4mm. Oil changes are included in the normal servicing of a brand-new car up to 36,000 miles. The problem is, they have your computer set to record oil life to last 11,000 miles. I brought it in at 7500 miles, and they said the computer showed 40% oil life left. I had my oil changed in between these services to ensure my car's health was good. Charging for a rental when your car is in the shop under warranty has never been a thing for me with any other dealer. DO NOT BUY ONE PROTECT or ONE PROTECTION PLUS. They do not stand behind their warranty and will do everything possible to get out of their responsibility. It has become very apparent that their business model is in car sales, but in their warranty and service. It is definitely not hospitality and loyalty-driven. The General Manager, Travis, doesn't care about these ratings. He was given every opportunity to reach back out to us and never did. I am not looking for a response at this point. Just don't do business with them. I never will. read more

Their service department is so pathetic. I tried to make an appointment because my infotainment system kept acting up. I called to see if it would be covered under warranty (I've come to find out the Honda warranty doesn't cover much of anything) and they wouldn't tell me, I'd have to come in and leave the car for 24 hours. I asked about a loaner because my car is only 2 years old, they said they don't provide them and I'd have to pay $50 a day. WTF, I've never dealt with a dealership who didn't have free loaners for a car still under warranty. I let them know I have a newborn and waiting would be easiest because I don't have a ride, but they have zero empathy and basically said too bad F off. My AC has now stopped working so I called to schedule an appointment, which is completely unhelpful AI until you insist on speaking to a live person. I was told AC isn't covered. Again, what?? The thing that annoys me about this place is the absolute disregard and disinterest the employees have in helping. Whenever I call they sound like whining children, mad that they have to work. At this point I'd never consider buying a car here based on their terrible service department and the other poor reviews. read more

I purchased a 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid in February 2024. On the drive home, I noticed a"system reset" error message on the dash. I couldn't believe it. I bought a brand new vehicle from Schomp Honda and they don't bother to check that the vehicle is in working order before they allow the customer to drive it home?! After I tried to perform the system reset through the vehicle instructions unsuccessfully, I took the vehicle back to Schomp a couple of days later and let them know what was going on. It was about 4:30, the service department closed at 6. They would not accept the vehicle. They told me that I would have to schedule a service appointment. I was livid. I explained that I just purchased the vehicle and that they should have made sure that the vehicle was in working order before it was sold to me. Jake Angard was the Service Drive Manager and was extremely unhelpful. I didn't schedule an appointment right away because I didn't have time to deal with service problems with my new vehicle as I thought it was nothing major, probably just a software glitch affecting my phones ability to be used through my radio system. A few months passed and I decided to begrudgingly schedule a service appointment. Upon check-in, the service advisor went to pop the hood and the trunk opened...I knew this wasn't going to be a good experience, nonetheless let's proceed. I explained the issue to the service advisor and he replied that he would run a system diagnostic test and see what's going on. I didn't understand why that would be necessary, as the vehicle is already telling you that a system reset needs to be performed on the telematics system, but ok, you're the professional. After having my vehicle in their possession for a few hours, I was given my vehicle back with a clean bill of health. They ran a diagnostic and all is well. After driving the vehicle home and starting the vehicle again later that day, I noticed that the error message was still on the display upon startup. I was in disbelief. I took the vehicle back to Schomp and explained again. The service advisor called upon the assistance of a younger technician who "might" know more about the software system. After a few minutes of fiddling around, they requested that I leave the vehicle with them again, but I couldn't. I had to pick up my son from school. I had to schedule another appointment. After taking the vehicle into Schomp a fourth time, they finally realized that my telematics unit was bad and it would be $700 to replace it. Inwas relieved because I knew that this would be covered under warranty, right? WRONG! I had 40,000 miles on the vehicle and the warranty was expired after 36,000 miles is what I was being told. I explained to the service manager, John Perez, that I have had this problem since the day I bought the vehicle. He said that he could petition Honda and see what they could do. I received a call from my service advisor a couple days later explaining that he had good news. Honda was going to take care of me! All i needed to do was pay $200 to get the new telematics unit installed. I explained that I didn't agree with them and that I shouldn't have to pay anything. John said that he would petition Honda again and see what they would say. This all happened in the fall of 2024. Thanksgiving passes, Christmas passes, New Year's Eve passes. I had never heard from John, so I sent him an email...crickets. It's now 2025. I am frustrated and I give up. I will just have to love with this radio issue. Then I am notified of a recall for my vehicle, so I schedule the appointment to get it fixed. After having my vehicle for the entire day, they proceed to tell me that they couldn't do the repair because the telematics unit was not working and this part is needed so that they can do the work. I am flabbergasted! Wouldn't that have been discovered early in the process of doing the repair?! Why was my vehicle held hostage for a full day? Now I have to reach out to Honda myself, because I am getting nowhere with John Perez and the service team at Schomp Honda. After speaking to Honda and creating a ticket with their customer service team, it is explained to me that Honda is no longer offering any help to cover the cost of the telematics system. Their system shows that I was offered assistance three times and that there was a 30 day window to respond and I didn't. I am now out of luck. I tried to explain that I have been driving the Honda Accord for 30 years and that I am a loyal customer. I have purchased three new vehicle over the years and two used...all Honda. This is the first issue that I have had. Still nothing. I go away in disappointed disbelief. Rejected by Honda, rejected by Schomp...incredulous. Now I have a vehicle that has a recall on it that can't be fixed because of a bad telematics system that has been bad since I drove it off the lot. What a shame. read more

Hello, I visited Schomp Honda on April 1st, and my assigned sales agent was Craig Combs. I had two main concerns: the fuel tank wasn't full at delivery and paint defects on the driver's side rear door. I also had negative interactions with Craig. Craig was unfriendly and disinterested in selling me a vehicle. He left me alone while I was examining the CR-V and failed to help me identify the 'Walk Away Auto-Lock' feature. When I requested the vehicle identification number for insurance, Craig went outside with his colleagues for 10 minutes, leaving me alone. He apologized and explained that Schomp's employees park their personal vehicles a mile away and have to carpool to pick up their cars. However, I needed him, and he didn't make me feel like a priority. In fact, I felt like I was constantly waiting for Craig. I never felt like a priority as a customer. During discussions of how I would acquire the vehicle, Craig asked me if I liked "throwing away money" because I didn't want to lease a vehicle. I purchased the vehicle and left the dealership. Upon returning home after delivery, I discovered that the fuel tank wasn't full, which was missed during the pre-delivery inspection. I emailed Craig, and Craig apologized and suggested that I return when the tank was low for a top-off. Two weeks later, my vehicle ran low on fuel, so I returned to Schomp Honda. I addressed two issues: the vehicle needed a full tank of fuel, as indicated on the Honda window sticker, and there was a paint defect on my driver's side rear door, which I've attached photographs of. Craig initially suggested another vehicle had opened their door into my car, but look at the photos. Does it look like another car dinged my Honda? Craig contacted the service department, which informed him the paint defects wouldn't pass their pre-delivery inspection. Craig informed me Schomp wouldn't help me. I knew the pre-delivery inspection wasn't foolproof, as my gas tank wasn't full when I received my new CR-V. Before discussing the paint defects with Schomp Honda and Craig Combs, I reviewed the warranty booklet, which advised contacting the dealership first, followed by contacting American Honda Corporate in Torrance, California. I spoke with Schomp Honda and Craig, but Schomp declined to help. I left the dealership dissatisfied because I felt like I was wronged. In customer service, I believe in "assume positive intent." Schomp Honda and Craig Combs should've addressed my concerns and treated me as a valued customer. They should've advocated for me and delivered a product that meets Honda's quality standards. It is my opinion that my Honda had a paint defect. I didn't intend to extort Schomp; my vehicle had a defect, and I sought their assistance. Their approach made me feel unethical and implied that someone intentionally opened their car door into my Honda, and they informed me that they wouldn't help me. In light of my experience, I urge you to exercise caution and conduct a thorough inspection before making a purchase. Before delivery, conduct a comprehensive examination of your vehicle to ensure that the paint meets your standards. Avoid evening deliveries as they prevented a thorough paint inspection before leaving the dealership. While no vehicle is flawless, my paint defect is unacceptable. I felt unvalued and unwelcome by Schomp Honda and Craig Combs. Despite consistently posting positive reviews on Google, I'm writing this negative review to provide an honest account of my experience with Schomp Honda and Craig Combs. I didn't want to do this. I'm delighted with my new Honda CR-V, especially its hybrid system, fuel efficiency, and sturdy construction. I left Schomp Honda as a dissatisfied customer. After leaving, Craig and Schomp's manager, Travis Taggart, did reach out to help me with my defective paint, but I was disgusted by the experience I had while a customer in the dealership and decided not to return. I would give my service rep today 5 stars but the previous one deserves to be fired for being shady/dishonest. I showed up today to have a new windshield installed as recommended when I had my oil changed in September (it's now November). Today's service rep said that I didn't need a new one and scraped off the supposed "dangerous unfillable pits" that turned out to be tar. In September, I had been told by the rep and the "windshield expert" that these pits were in the black area would lead to breakage and sensors not working, etc. but this all turned out to be bull! My wife and I purchased a 2026 Honda HR-V Sport from Schomp Honda on September 19, 2025. We've been loyal Honda customers for over 15 years and have purchased several vehicles from Schomp during that time. We've always appreciated the Honda product and expected the same high level of service we've previously experienced. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. We did not receive any of our purchase paperwork at delivery and had to request it by email. On October 16, we contacted Schomp to check the status of our title and registration paperwork. We were told by Jonathan that it would be sent that day. However, on October 22, we learned from the title representative for both Honda and Hyundai that the paperwork hadn't actually been sent until October 22. When we followed up with Douglas County DMV, they confirmed that no paperwork had been received. Later, Jonathan stated that the paperwork was "returned due to the wrong form," but the DMV clarified this was not true -- the form had never been sent. The DMV also noted they were only 2-3 days behind in processing dealer paperwork. We finally received our plates and registration on November 7, nearly seven weeks after we made the purchase. In addition, Schomp Honda's slogan -- "One Price, One Person, One Hour" -- didn't reflect our current or previous experiences. Despite paying cash, with no financing or upsells, and being one of only two customers in the showroom, the process still took nearly three hours. We continue to value Honda vehicles, but this experience raised concerns about Schomp Honda's internal communication, paperwork management, and consistency with its advertised promises. We hope management reviews these practices so future customers -- regardless of how they pay -- receive the professional and timely service expected from the Honda brand. read more

Not sure if this is standard practice but I went to go pick up my sisters car for her from the service center and had a nice employee walk me over to the guy managing her service Darion. The nice guy introduced me to which Darion didn't even respond and continued to do paperwork for over 5 minutes not even saying "just give me a few min to finish this up" or even acknowledge I was there. After 5 min of just standing there being uncomfortable he tossed me her paper saying "this just goes over everything she refused, you're going to need to sign for her" and then pointed over to where they would pull her car around. No thank you, no have a nice day, nothing. Didn't even mention that her new key (the only reason she brought it in) was in the center console of her car so she had to call back immediately after I dropped it off. read more

I usually don't write negative reviews because I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but this is the second disappointing experience I've had with the service department at Schomp Honda. When I bought my vehicle, the sales team was fantastic, and since the dealership is close to home, I assumed I'd receive the same level of service from their service team. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. I recently brought in my 2023 Odyssey (27,000 miles) because all the safety warning lights had been on for about a week. I rented a car from Schomp while mine was in the shop all day. Late in the afternoon, I was told that the technicians couldn't find a clear cause but thought an aftermarket windshield might have affected the camera installation. They offered to reinstall the camera for over $500. That explanation didn't make sense to me, so I decided to get a second opinion. The next day, I went to Holman Honda, where they diagnosed the issue in half the time. They performed a dynamic camera aiming procedure, test-drove the vehicle, and completely resolved the problem. I only paid $175 for their diagnostic test; Schomp's diagnostic testing is over $200. Based on these experiences, I personally feel more confident taking my vehicle to Holman Honda moving forward, and I plan to purchase my next vehicle there when my lease ends. read more

They will sell you a faulty prologue that has to be taken in every couple of months bc it's full of bugs. The sales people don't even know anything about the vehicle. I bought a 2025 CRV from Schomp about a year ago. I wasn't sure of the exact date. My car was telling me I was past due on my initial A service. I was in no hurry because I had only put about 4000 miles in a year. I received a card in the mail stating I needed to take in my car right away to get the FREE service I was promised. I called and told the computer I wanted the complimentary service. She answered UNDERSTOOD. I made the appointment and took in the car a couple days later. A 30 minute drive but for the free service i thought it was wort it. I drive into the service bay. A guy eventually comes up and takes information and tells me someone will be right with me. Kyle comes and after entering my information into his pad says I will be charged because I came in too late. I explained to him I had gotten a reminder card the day before. Said sorry but showed me a paper that the freebie expired January 15. I got upset when he said it would be like $89. Then I said I wanted to talk to a manager. When he came back he said the manager had said to give me the service. In the end all they did was an oil change. They said everything else was fine. The promo card I received said included tire rotation, oil change, and inspection. Lots of lies and deception here. I love my Honda, Schomp not so much. read more

Don't take your car here for service. Brought my 2023 Odyssey in to do the recall and they broke the kick panel, scratched the dash with tools and have REFUSED to fix any of it. Absolutely insanity. UPDATE 12/31/24: John Perez, service manager has accused me via email of being a liar and has refused to take responsibility for his technician's SLOPPY work in how they've broken panels and diminished the value of my car. It's time that I said meaningful thanks to Schomp Honda as I've been a long-time customer with them. I got my current 2014 CR-V as a trade-in with my older model CR-V in early 2018. When I took out the loan through one of the credit unions that they used, I got me what's called Schomp Care which came with 10+ employee-rate oil and filter changes with other benefits built into the very loan. When I came here today to use the Express Lane for a quick oil and filter change, I was hoping that I still had one or two last change(s) left on the care thing. Garrett, my service advisor, notified me that said care expired in February of this year. Darn, I thought, but Garrett kindly extended it by giving me one last change (of course, free of charge)! How nice of him! He quickly checked me in and sent me off to the waiting area. I'm writing this revealing as I'm waiting for my car to be done. Their waiting area is always clean. There are an ample amount of seatings so there is never a time when/where you have to stand and wait. The machine that makes different types of craft coffee makes decent to great beverages. They also have pretzels, sandwich crackers, granola bars and gummy bears and bottled water. Several different huge tv screens are available for people to kill time. Hopefully my car doesn't have any problems when they do the courtesy multi inspections. P.S. The oil and filter change was super quick. Took me like 30-40 min at the tops. Multi inspection revealed no concerning issues. Garrett did notify me about wiper blades that were extremely worn so I had to buy a few inserts and blades. The total was about $110. They, of course (and as always) washed my car afterwards. read more

Bought a certified used Honda Civic and was told by the sales department the first two oil changes would be paid for by Honda. Only one oil change was actually done, and Honda attempted to charge me. Now I take the car in for new tires and other service and Honda refuses to provide an oil change. I have purchased two Honda's here in Colorado recently and for service in the future dealerships will be AVOIDED because they nickel and dime people. read more

Brought my Honda Civic EX in for service as it was misfiring. When they were finished I basically got back a new car. When you go in for service they check everything and offer service to you and if you except they perform excellent work. My Service Advisor was Richard DuVall and he is the consummate professional Advisor. His level of communication made it easy for me to understand what was going to happen and when the work would be complete. It was most enjoyable to receive my Honda back early and running perfectly. Do NOT go here if you have an insurance claim because you will have to do most of the claim work for the Service Tech.This is regarding Service Tech, Rocky (Phoummarack), who is very condescending and argumentative. I had to ask questions over and over because he would not give a direct answer. I don't think he was even reading my text messages; he would just give a dismissive "smart aleck" answer. The insurance wanted documents and photos. Rocky emailed them 3 times and they said they did not get the photos. Rocky said his manager, John, told him to just wait a week. WHY?? Nothing was done for a week!. I finally called the Adjuster who called Rocky directly. After 19 days of NOTHING HAPPENING, I called the insurance AGAIN and they finally sent out their estimator. Then Rocky was having problems with the estimator and sending him emails to fix. My claim sat again!! Rocky then complained about all the emails he sent and said he did everything he could do and clearly was not going to do anything more!! I had to call my insurance AGAIN on day 39 to expedite unresolved issues with the estimator. Within an hour the insurance company negotiated a settlement in favor of Schomp Honda. They paid their asking quote which was 3.3 times higher than the insurance estimator (which shows Schomp's markup). I never got a thank you. I never in my life had to do all the expediting, advocating, and negotiating with insurance for a claim; that was the JOB of Schomp Honda and the Service Tech. Rocky just complained about all the emails he sent. From my experience with Rocky's communication style, he was probably not asking the correct questions or answering questions or providing information they needed. It is not the quantity of emails, it is the quality. He could have picked up the phone to get things expedited instead of just letting my car sit. Example: I emailed or texted 4 days in a row simply asking for a part number. He said I would get that when I picked up the car. I had a legal right to ask for documented proof of a part number before it was fixed. I wanted to be sure what they actually put in the car was the correct replacement part number that was negotiated and approved and not the cheap alternative repair part once discussed. Instead of taking 1 minute to give me the part number, he spent much more time arguing with me. He kept saying he gave it to me 10 times but all he gave me was part names(not numbers) on their quote. After his disrespectful exchange of 7 emails he finally gave me the part number which he should have given me at my first request. After the agreed settlement, Schomp took 8 days to get parts which they knew about for a long time and 8 days for repair. A TOTAL of 55 days!!! I spoke with Rocky's manager, John, once and John's response was defending Rocky; he clearly did not want to hear complaints. Compliments and thanks to the Service Mechanic who actually did the work, Niko. He did a great job with everything working as it should be and looking great. read more

Dishonest and misleading. We are shopping for our 3rd Honda and have used multiple dealerships in several states over the last 20 years of Honda ownership. We know exactly the car we want and explained that we were happy to buy from the lot or order. I exchanged messages with Kate Vitanova, Client Advisor, who insisted that any car ordered is not priced until it is on the lot. This is not true: several other dealerships have offered the opposite. We will be using another dealership in our purchase. I needed to take my car in for scheduled maintenance. I had a morning appointment and was there waiting around 4 1/2 hours. The tech I worked with was Rocky and his attitude was aggressive from the beginning. There was no communication while I waited in the lounge. After three hours I went to ask the status of my car and was scolded for because he documented my phone number wrong. As I spent the next hour or so just trying to get my car so I could leave, I noticed the words on the wall that are supposed to be Schomp's values: Competitive, Consistent, Adaptable, Respectful, and Empathetic. You've heard the expression, "I'd rather go to the dentist, than shop for a new car." Well, I was definitely in that mindset until I happened upon Schomp Honda. I never thought I'd take the time to write a review about a car dealership, but here I am. From the moment I walked in, to the time I left with a new vehicle, I was treated with the utmost respect. My sales-person, David, was exceptional along with the other staff members who came by to introduce themselves. Buying a car can be frustrating, but I have to admit, Schomp Honda did a great job alleviating my concerns and apprehension. So I purchased a new vehicle here a little over 3 months ago now (Apr 2025). I have to say, the purchase experience was pretty painless; certainly not the hour they claim. In any case, I had reached out to the sales person I worked with via email with some follow-up questions, twice, the first time 2 months ago - still no response. Very disappointing. Then I noticed a blemish in the paint that I wanted looked at to see if they could touch it up as I am concerned that bare metal may be showing and want to prevent any potential rust issues. I called and was told I need to make a service appointment to have it look at. I did that and set up the appointment. I took the vehicle over and was told that IF it was determined they needed to address the issue, I would need to leave my vehicle with them for a month. WHAT THE .... for a quarter sized blemish!!! Unbelievable. No offer of anything in regards to any other option. "Here, if you'd like to touch it up yourself, we'll GIVE you a bottle of touch-up paint." After spending over $50k on a vehicle you would think they'd be more helpful. RIDICULOUS and incredibly disappointing. Can't say that I'd recommend them after this experience. read more

Well what can I saw Schomp....you have done it again. Son was in the area and figured he might try and get his oil changed without an appointment. I called the Service Center and they said just bring it in, not busy at all today. Son rolls up to express and they said they aren't taking walk ins today. Just when I thought this place may have started to improve...yikes! read more
