Stay Away! 1. Got the runaround for over a week. 2. Was lied to over and over again ("someone else is coming to look at the car right after you") 3. When we took the car to a mechanic before purchasing it we found 3 MAJOR oil leaks, a broken window and ...wait for it....part of the undercarriage held together with a bungie cord. 4. Went back to talk to the manager and surprise, surprise, he was no where to be found. He never did show up, I can't imagine why-maybe because he knew about the crappy car he was trying to sell us? Had a horrible experience today with the service department. Had an appointment at 10 to get an alignment done on our van. Dropped it off and we were told it would only be a couple hours. After 5 hours we called down there and could not get an answer as to when the van would be ready. Finally after 7 hours we went to pick up the van and they had just finished up. No apology or explination of why there was such a delay. We didn't receive any information or print out showing what they got the alignment to. We will definitely take our business to a different dealer in the future. read more

If you are in the market for a new MINI, you are better off making the 1 hour trip to Mini of Loveland. Here are the reasons why I chose not to do business with Ralph Schomp MINI: The inventory listing on their website is terribly inaccurate. My salesperson told me straight up, "don't rely on our website, we don't update it very often." Sure enough, it hasn't changed in the last month. Not only that, but the details about the cars (packages, addons, etc) are inaccurate as well. MINI of Loveland told me that they take pride in the accuracy of their website. When I finally sold my car privately and had cash in hand, I called Ralph Schomp MINI first thing in the morning and left a message for my salesperson: "I have cash, and I am ready to buy today!" 3 phone calls, one email and 6 hours later, I finally spoke to my salesperson, but only after I told the manager that he isn't returning my calls. After finally speaking with the salesperson, I asked him what he has in stock, since I am unable to look it up myself using their inventory search online. So what does the guy do? He starts walking around the lot, reading off prices from the windows. I just wanted him to email me a list of cars that he has in a particular color, and he told me that it's too much work; that it's easier to just walk outside. I don't have time to sit on the phone for 15 minutes while he walks the lot! I finally settled on a car that I wanted to purchase. Then comes the big shocker: THEY WILL NOT GO BELOW MSRP! One phone call to Mini of Loveland, and the guy offered me an outstanding deal, threw in free floormats, and they even sent a guy down to pick me up from my house in Denver. Their facility is much nicer than Ralph Schomp, and they know how to do business. Don't waste your time with Ralph Schomp MINI. read more

I have to say I was extremely disappointed in Schomp today. I was purchasing a Honda CRV Touring from them and they refused to honor a competitor's offer. I have never had any problem with Schomp in the past - but I WILL NEVER give them ANY business again. I highly recommend that no matter what they tell you - you shop around and give Kuni Honda a try. Car salespeople suck - today - Schomp really SUCKED! Friendly, professional & very helpful service department! When I moved here from out of state, my 2016 Accord only needed a rear plate. The car came with the front bracket in a plastic bag when I bought it. Sadly, no instructions or mounting bolts. I stopped by the service department & they were happy to show me the correct mounting location & had the bolts in stock. They even went the extra mile & offered to install it for me. Our sales person is the sweetest ever but the sales managers are horrible. They cannot get the paperwork right and have redone it dozens of times. We have been here for 3 hours since we agreed to the car and price. Basically the sales managers can't manage to pull it together. Shady business practice. I purchased an extended warranty on my Honda. If not used, it should have been FULLY refunded. However, I moved away from Denver. I needed repairs but the warranty was not effective since Schomp didn't do the repairs. I inquired about a refund since the warranty was of no value. I was told I had to wait until the expiration date. When that came, I was DENIED the refund because the car wasn't registered in Colorado. I also had to take a picture of the odometer & couldn't do this because the car had been sold. None of these disqualifications were stated at the time of purchase & I specifically asked about such. I was told, if not used, a full refund. No stated restrictions. So, Schompf pocketed a free $1500. Buy your car from an HONEST dealer. read more

Updating my original 1-star rating because I did receive an apology from Schomp (by email). Still can't get back the lost 5-hours at their dealership. We did end up with the vehicle we were looking for and at the price that was originally promised. Was not an easy process. Schomp's slogan is One Price/One Person/One Hour. Not even close. Helped an elderly friend buy a new Civic for cash. Should have been an easy 1-hour experience. They could not find the promised vehicle nor could they honor the promised price. We dealt with two people and were there for nearly 5-hours. They spent nearly an hour pitching multiple maintenance and warranty "packages." Painful. read more

This would have been a 4-star experience, but their customer service was just so danged "Meh" that I had to take a star off. Bought a pre-owned MINI this month. The Pluses: ** The price is the price. Do your homework before you go, know about what the price of the vehicle you're looking at is, and understand, for heaven's sake, that the dealer is in business to make a profit - SHOCKER - so expect a modest and fair margin to be built into the price of the vehicle. ** Multiple test drives allowed - including keeping the vehicle I ultimately purchased for a whole day while my independent mechanic checked it out. ** Fair (VERY FAIR!) offer on a trade-in value (again, do your homework and know the dealer WILL incur a cost to put the vehicle into salable condition) ** Best financing rates! ** Low key environment. I give this a plus, but it also contributed to my minuses.... ** No advertising junk on the car. No stickers, no decals, no license plate frames. The Minuses: ** This place is SO low key, you can sort of feel ignored. Every time I walk in there, people sort of look at me, but I'm not really greeted or asked if I need help for a while ** I did *not* like my salesperson. At first I thought it was just a no-pressure environment, but this guy just offered an experience devoid of service! For instance: -----During the final negotiation, he took a phone call from another client and argued with that client for 40 MINUTES. VERY LOUDLY. Everyone in the dealership heard it. If I'm going to drop over $20K with you, please pay attention to me. -----No offers for counternegotiation, period. The vehicle I have has 1 mismatched tire. I was SHOWN how much difference in tread there was, but wasn't offered anything for it. When queried, he shrugged. -----Vehicle was sold to me with only one key. Best offer is a second key "at cost." Shrug. -----No upsell! Why was this a negative you ask? I would have gladly financed the cost to put new racing stripes or other accessories into the purchase price of the vehicle. Wasn't even offered. I just found the service experience there to be flatline. I know their point of differentiation is no-haggle - but I'd expected to be attended to just a touch better. read more

Had to give a bit of a down grade. The salesperson called a couple weeks after I bought my car to see how everything was going and I let them know one of the back doors is missing the door switch (it causes the car to automatically lock even when that door is open which results in the risk of locking my toddler inside after shutting the door). He offered no help and got off the phone with me as quickly as possible. I haven't heard from them since, and now I'll need to beat down their door to get the problem addressed. Seems like all they really cared about was getting "excellent" ratings on the Honda survey. I was told by multiple members of the staff there that their pay depends on perfect scores on the survey, so to please give all perfect ratings. After I did that, I got dropped. We took my wife's car in to get a tire replaced because they were listed as an authorized dealer. They told us they had the tire, made an appointment for her but after about 45 minutes of waiting, they admitted they didn't have the tire but expected it soon. She brought her car back the next day and was told they expected the tire to be in by about 10 am. That afternoon, I got a phone call that they forgot to order the tire but had done so now. Turns out, they ordered a different tire (which they decided we didn't need to be told about) and charged us about $50 more than what we were originally quoted. They have a fancy new showroom but it doesn't seem to extend to how they run their business. read more

I bought a used Honda Pilot less than a year ago. Getting out in an hour is a total lie. It took me over 3 hrs all while I had my youngest daughter in tow. My biggest dislike though is their service department. Stay away! I pre-paid for the oil change plan which is ok but everything else is a joke. Both my husband and I have taken our vehicles there for simple repairs to be told they don't have the part but will order it and call us in a few days when it arrives. Neither of us ever get the phone call. My husband's part was ordered incorrectly. It took several phone calls and multiple visits to get his car's seat belt fixed. I needed one new tire because of a puncture. The tires were put on when I bought the car. Because they were still fairly new I only needed one. Multiple times they told me the tire was being ordered and they would call when it was in. No call, I had to follow up. The last time I was told they had plenty of my tire in Stock. So I took my pilot in to get the tire. After waiting over an hr I get told they don't carry the tires I have and cannot get them. Weird because they put on the tires. So then I am stuck buying a different tire of the same size that cost more money. Bottom line, stay away from their service department. read more

We had the pleasure of working with Michael "Mike" Dodson in the Honda service department. He did a great job of communicating with me, taking care of my son's vehicle and he was as professional as you could ask for. Ralph Schomp staff spends considerable time claiming that their dealership is a fair and customer centric auto dealer far exceeding the standards of their competitors. I think not! Acts speak louder than words. Even though the sales manager Marietta Companie proclaimed intimate familiarity with the history of a particular Honda Accord and its status at the dealership and my transaction regarding this car, Schomp sold the same car in writing to two people, myself included. After I made considerable arrangements regarding the delivery and use of the car, the sales manager simply refused to deliver the car at the negotiated price at the promised time or make any offer of meaningful accommodation for their failure to honor their written agreement. Some people might consider this at best a case of dealer sloppiness and customer callousness. At worst, some people might speculate that extreme business misbehavior might have occurred here. Lisa Schomp the President of the organization should take notice and insure that their policies and actions are consistent with their PR and with ethical and good business standards. In the meantime, caveat emptor with Ralph Schomp. read more

If you want to be abused, berated disrespected ask for Jessica Enos at Schomp Honda. I will never take my car back to Honda service ever again because of her. I arrived at 8am for my scheduled oil change. 1.45hrs later I was still waiting so I went to the service area to see if my car was ready. A nice young man told me it was and that the young lady at the counter would check my car out and take my payment. Once I was at her area I asked her if it normally takes 1.45mins to change my oil when I had a scheduled appointment at 8am. Her response was rudely stated "We are busy" I asked her the same question again since she didn't answer my question and she again very rudely this time said NO! I asked her for her name and she said it's on the invoice. I had no idea where until finally I found it - her name was Jessica Enos and I asked her for managers name because I told her I didn't like the way she was speaking to me. Then she went off on me saying she didn't like the way I was talking to her and continued to berate me while I stood there in shock. I felt as if I was just beaten up, chewed up and spit out by Jessica Enos. I was sick to my stomach and just wanted to get my car and get out of there as fast as I could. I have never in my life been treated like that by anyone especially in a place that I do business at. I have been a customer of Schomp BMW since 1999 when Jeff Edgel pre- ordered my new BMW convertible and I have always been treated with the upmost respect by all sales and service specialist. Schomp Honda can take lessons in manners and respect from their BMW service partners. I did call and leave a message for Byron - Jessica Enos manager who called me back and apologized. He said he would make things right next time for me by dealing with him directly. I told him I appreciated the apology and the gesture. read more

It took some time to purchase the car, even when paying cash. This was mostly due to bank issues but, some of the delay was due to waiting for various people to do various paperwork. Overall, this dealer is clean, friendly, and helpful. I felt no sales pressure. Their price for the car was lower than every other Honda dealer in the area. Bought a 2019 Pilot in April from Schomp, Javier Diaz-Montoya was my sales associate & he was great. I started a car shopping a few months before I purchased the Pilot, as Mid sized SUV's are everywhere and every car company offers them. I came in and took a test drive & explained that I was a few months out and trying to narrow down my options. Javier was super helpful, emailed him a few times with random questions an he was always helpful & polite. When I was finally ready I emailed him to set up appointment and gave him 2 color choices I wanted. Arrived at the dealership & both colored Pilots where waiting for me too choose. Sale was easy, although did take a bit longer then an hour. Only been to the service center for aftermarket add on's & 1 oil change so far. Service Department is AMAZING! I know others have posted bad experiences, but if you want horrible customer service go to John Elway Chevy service.... UGH terrible doesn't describe the customer service at John Elway Chevy & sales isn't much better. I need to ask if Schomp will see my Malibu so I don't have to go to Chevy anymore.... read more

I'm surprised that they only have 3 stars here! My sister brought her car in today telling them that she needs a new alternator. They had discussed pricing and left her car with them to get fixed. This afternoon they called her and said it wasn't the alternator, that she just had a wire(that goes to the battery) that was shorting...a $60 fix!!! They also noticed that one of the seat belts is worn out and they are fixing it for free. That's about as honest as you can get. I am very impressed!! read more

Dan King is very quick to sell you the vehicle, but good luck trying to schedule service after. I bought a certified vehicle that wasn't inspected at all, the alignment was off and the air filter was extremely dirty and needed to be replaced. Spoke with Chris the sales manager twice to schedule service, he mentioned someone from service would contact me but never did. I traded in a vehicle that took over 45 days to pay off, the bank was calling me constantly. Approached a rep that showed me the vehicle of interest. He was nice and accommodating. Didn't felt pressure to buy. Got the info, carfax, test drove etc. As with a purchase of this magnitude there is always a bit of a wait then the process goes along. The finance rep was helpful and informative. After the paperwork was done, I was able to drive my new car home. *There was a crack on the windshield that was noted prior to the sale which an appointment was scheduled for them to come to my residence and replace which was great too. I didn't buy my Honda here, so this isn't about their sales division, but I've taken it here to get serviced/repaired a couple of times, and I've always been happy with how things worked out. The first time was last summer, when it looked like I had a oil leak. I took my car in, they took a look, and realized that the guy at an out-of-state quick lube place hadn't actually completely closed everything up after an oil change. Five minutes and $0 later, I was on my way. Good deal. The second time was last week-- my car tried to overheat on the way to work on Monday, got lots more coolant (see AutoZone review) and then repeated the stunt Friday night, illustrating that something was seriously wrong. When I took it in, it turned out that the engine block (I'm not kidding) had cracked, and I essentially needed a new engine. Amazingly, this fell under an extended warranty I apparently got a letter about, and it was free! They ordered a new engine for me on Saturday and had my car back to me on Tuesday, which was pretty impressive. My car needed a couple other things as well, and the service tech helpfully prioritized them for me so I could get what was most important and I could afford then and wait a month for the less essential items on my car's wish list. Plus, I'm a car idiot, and I really appreciated that he took the time to explain things to me without making me feel worse and without taking the opportunity to freak me out and upsell me unnecessary things. I'll keep going to Schomp to keep my car going. read more

So I was having issues with my Honda Civic, I pulled into the repair center and was impressed with how clean and quickly moving everything was. My car stayed there for about four (4) days to be repaired. which a little long for my liking and was a bit pricey for my liking ($909 for bumper repairs and a belt change.) Issues started when I got home and noticed that about 1/4 of the bumper was not secured on and was sticking out and still noticeably broken. I don't know about you all but when I pay $909 for a job to be done... I want that job done. I will say that I took it in a week later and the finished the job and had great customer service while doing it. read more

Car buying can be a really long and hectic process and knowing that Schomp is not commission based put our minds at ease. Best car dealership experience I've had! We started our shopping for a car with Arthur Rawe and we told him it was our first day out. We test drove a couple vehicles with him and told him we probably wouldn't be buying that night, he was totally helpful and understanding about it, didn't pressure us or anything and worked as hard as if we were buying! We decided to go back on Monday and he wasn't working but we worked with Chris Williams. Chris was also very laid back, no pressure and he helped us with our new to us 04 xterra which we love! Both were very knowledgeable and professional and friendly. The manager, Jin, helped us with evaluating our trade in of our 2011 civic and helped us understand the reasoning behind his decision on what to give us for the trade. He was also very friendly and professional! What we appreciated the most is that this dealership is truly what they claim to be, no haggle, efficient and easy to work with. And HONEST. Definitely would recommend them for anyone looking for a new car! They are truly the best!!!! I don't think we'll ever go anywhere else after this great experience. I purchased a used Toyota at Schomp about 3 months ago, When shopping around they had the best price, less than $300 over blue book, which is what brought me in. The staff explained that they don't haggle price because they want to give the best service and experience possible. The friendly low pressure environment encouraged me to buy. I also purchased the Schomp Care package that covers maintenance. When bringing my car in I came in on the wrong day. (Go me!) But the staff was extremely accommodating and did everything in their power to accommodate me. They got me in and out and were able to address all of my concerns.
