Have been a member of SFFCU for 17 years and never had a complaint against them. Everyone who works there should be commended. I have my home mortgage with them (received the greatest rates and $1,000 off on one thing), as well as their credit card. And feel there Chat is very responsive and helpful and saves me a trip there. I do not like the new online banking features and will voice my opinion when they are back online. Would at least like to have the option of still having a check register to view and not accounts. read more

The staff is VERY nice, but that's it. Zero sense of urgency. Whether it be a teller, or at a desk, or the front receptionist, the culture lacks in efficiency. There is never a sense of urgency in that place. I've gone in with 100 people waiting, or 1, it is the same wait, same result. Just smile and waste your time. You can't blame the staff. It's starts with mgmt & the resources they're given. The branch manager, district manager, regional, corporate etc. It's their culture. Zero help.. Their app/IT is terrible, and they will defer to "it's takes 24 hours to update". Multiple auto loans with them. A checking. Savings. And its almost IMPOSSIBLE to DEPOSIT money. Literally refuse money. They can't explain the logic and defer to "the system". Do not step in there. Save your time, the staff will waste it. They are only good for their loan % rates. read more

I am pleased with the service and perks of the credit union itself. However I really wanted to use the Autoland car buying service. I made an inquiry in mid December and got one missed call from the representative at this location. I tried multiple times to email and call her again, and it has been a couple of weeks with no further response. Perhaps she is on vacation but an out of office notification would be helpful if she was. I ended up contacting 39 Honda dealers on my own to find my car during the holiday sales. I got a good deal and rate but it's unfortunate I didn't get to try out the Autoland service. read more

I went to the branch in Riverside off Riverwalk and met with the most lovely woman ever Sherry. She was amazing. Kind and helpful and knowledgeable. She picked things that were helpful and fit my needs. I have terrible credit but my dad cosigned. she got me a loan of 1.99%. she thoroughly explained ALL of my options. She even showed me projections of my payments with and without certain options. I really felt taken care of, I felt she had my best interest at heart and it was THE best experience I have ever had with a sales agent. #AUTOLAND #SCHOOLSFIRST #HUGOGARITAISAMAZING Let me begin by saying that I this was my first time buying a car. I began with the basics, visiting dealerships. I knew what the 2 makes I was looking into were. When I went to the first dealership, I had the worst experience and left without wanting to go back. The next week I went out to a dealership in Fontana where I also had a bad experience. This time I did not want to let that get in my way, that day I visited one more dealership and emailed and called about 4 others. I was finding it frustrating and did most of my research on my own. I looked at every youtube video and I read every article I would find about the cars I was interested in. I knew every model and every feature change in trims. I even taught some car salesmen about what the cars could do. Eventually I was doing the math of the cars cost on my own with taxes. But the biggest issue I had besides their lack of knowledge, was their service. I then was told about Hugo in one of my visits to my bank, Schools First in Riverside on Riverwalk. They told me that Hugo could help me and take care of the negotiations and I would not have to worry about a thing. This was on Saturday and by Monday afternoon, Hugo had prices for me and he was very nice kind and genuine over the phone. When I began my search for my car I thought I knew what I wanted. But speaking with Hugo made me realize there was much more I had to take into consideration. Things like the features I ACTUALLY cared for, the size of the car, the payments and the overall cost of everything. This made me look into my prospective car in further depth. After going to look at the car I wanted based on what I narrowed it down too, I then realized the car itself was not as great as I thought it would be. I proceeded to test drive a different car and fell in love with the new car instantly. I immediately let Hugo know I was now considering a third option. The process of buying my new car after meeting Hugo, took about 2 weeks. During these 2 weeks I changed my mind a few times, I changed colors, and the trim back and forth. I had the opportunity to go test drive the cars I thought I wanted and give my feedback to Hugo on how I felt about the cars. I had his number and he was always reachable and accessible during all of his business hours. He never got frustrated nor did he ever rush any of the process. He wanted to make sure I would not regret my car choice. Hugo has experience of working at dealerships, he explains exactly how the process and how the cars are prices. He knew what I had researched about the cars I was looking into. He always went the extra step to talk with me about what the cars offered. I made up my mind on the car I wanted on Wednesday night around 7 p.m. which was when I sent him a message and the next evening he had the car at the bank with a beautiful bow. On the day I went to pick up my car I was having troubles with my insurance and Hugo stayed with me about an additional 3 hours after the bank closed so that my family and I could drive away in my new car. I would most definitely use Hugo services again. He is just amazing and I am thankful Autoland has Hugo working with them. He just made everything go so great. I even got a card in the mail from him congratulating me on my new car and answered questions even after the purchase in the most genuine and kind way. Thank you Hugo for everything. read more
