    Hi, I have been banking with Schools First Federal Credit Union for over 25 years. Since way back when, when they were Orange County Teachers Federal Credit Union and they just had a branch or two. One of the things I like best about banking with them is they have not seemed to have lost the personal touch they had way back when they were small. You walk in and many of the tellers call you by name. They are also so incredibly nice it is scary some times. At this branch (the Walnut branch) Jayson is one of my favorite tellers. He knows me, and many others, by name when I walk in, treats me like I am the most important customer he has ever had, and is never too busy to acknowledge your presence. Although, I like working with him, it does not in the least discount the amazing customer service you get from other employees of this branch! It has always been a high point of this location. Another nice thing about this branch is there is seldom a line. This is especially nice on a Friday afternoon when you can still get in and out in just a few minutes. That is as long as you can find a parking space in the center as it can sometimes be quite difficult. If you have a way of becoming a member of the Schools First Federal Credit Union I would suggest you do so.... you will be impressed!

    High marks for customer service for not only this branch in Walnut, but for all the other branches that I've been to for SchoolsFirst!! Friendly and attentive always and what I'm most impressed about is their level of patience and empathy. Sometimes, you have to say no to a customer or inform them they are wrong; these employees have the tact for being able to provide the proper explanation and give the customer the expectation they want by listening to the customer's side. That's real customer service!

    On May 18, 2026 while visiting Arrowhead Credit Union on grand in chino I witnessed a very…read moreconcerning situation involving one of your employees and a customer. The customer was yelling, cussing, calling the employee names, and becoming increasingly aggressive while she remained calm and professional throughout the interaction. What concerned me most was the lack of protection and support for your employees during the incident. There appeared to be no physical barrier or safety measure between the customer and the employee, and although a security guard was present outside, he did not intervene, attempt to de-escalate the situation, or ask the individual to leave. As the customer became louder and more hostile, it was upsetting to see the employee left to handle the situation alone. I understand businesses want to create a welcoming and personable environment for customers, but employee safety should also be a priority. Situations like this can quickly escalate, and employees should feel protected and supported when dealing with abusive or threatening behavior. It was honestly very difficult to witness such disrespect toward this young woman and your staff. I hope additional measures can be considered to better protect employees and ensure they feel safe while at work.

    I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service my 91-year-old father and I…read morereceived at your branch today. There was a window marked for customers with disabilities, so we waited there for a considerable amount of time. When it was finally our turn, the teller, Cathy, told us to return to the regular line. My father is 91 years old and cannot stand for long periods. Unfortunately, he forgot to bring his ID. We respectfully asked whether he could still make a deposit. Cathy consulted another staff member and informed us that it should be acceptable. We also presented his credit card as verification. We were not attempting to withdraw funds -- only to make a deposit. Despite this, the process took an excessive amount of time. As a result, we were 30 minutes late to his rehabilitation appointment. This caused unnecessary stress for my father. My father has been a loyal customer of this bank for over 50 years. He was deeply disappointed by the lack of efficiency and consideration shown during this visit. We respectfully request that your branch provide better assistance and sensitivity toward elderly customers in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
