The employee diagnosed my problem and told me what I needed and nearly rang up the part. He told me how easy it was to do "But check it out on YouTube first". I had to run home for something and told him I'd be back for the part after I checked out Youtube. Turns out, the part he indicated wasn't the issue, but a part connected to that part was. Big crack in a hose that went to the recommended part (Emission Vapor Hose). When I went back to get the part, they, unfortunately, didn't have it in stock and it would've been some days until they got it in. He gave me a recommendation on where to grab it. Kind of like "Miracle on 34th Street"- "We don't have it, but you might try Gimball's". I found the part and got it installed easily and my car's now running fine. The clerk didn't have to do that, but it was very cool of him to do so. To the Mgr.: while this might've meant a sale for you guys, it gained even more customer loyalty from me. That is commendable. This store has always had great employees and I've dealt with them pretty much since they moved into the Thomas Lake Albertsons (now Safeway) lot. When I learned of Don @ 1st Stop Performance from a friend, I was unsure what to expect but went to him based on a solid referral. After bringing my car in there not only I was happy with the service, but Don the owner was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helped walk me all the way through what my car needed. He is a really good guy and knows his cars, and the work he did on my car was far superior than what than the dealer had tried to fix on my car. Don had to fix an air suspension issue that the dealer tried 3 times and was unable to ever get fixed. Don had it fixed in a day, and it has worked perfect ever since. We'll in installing the soft line the tech bent and broke the line next to it so when the guy that went to certify the crane fired up the truck it shot oil 12' in the air. Needless to say we couldn't get the crane certified and have a broken truck but now the business is saying their not responsible and basically if we want to fix their mistake that we would have to Pay them. Well needless to say you've lost a customer and hopefully others will heed this warning. I would suggest taking your repairs to someone that will stand behind their work because we went from one issue to now not even being able to put the crane away. Thanks for nothing...

My husband gave…read morean elderly homeless coworker a vehicle, out of the kindness of his heart, so that he didn't have to spend winter sleeping on the ground. Unfortunately, turns out the coworker is a drug addict. Long story short, he crashed the car right down the road from this towing company. You literally could have just pushed the car into the lot it was so close. The coworker lied and never transferred the title into his name. We have proof from the DOL that the car was in fact transferred out of my husband's name, however, he never entered the new owners name in. Immediately after my husband found out about the accident, my husband went to the DOL, gave them the name and got proper paperwork printed. He took the paperwork with proof that he is not the legal owner to the tow yard and the owner of whiteside towing basically said "not my problem, you still owe me $800 or the bill is going to keep going up." My husband paid it on a credit card. Money that we didn't have. Because he didn't know what else to do..

(O'Reilly didn't have the tools to open my fob and it felt like customer service over there were having a not so great day; tone and stuff were not welcoming...) Autozone has the small tools needed to open the key fob since it's a very small screw. As soon as we walked in, they were friendly! We met up with Jose who was humorous! He inputted the battery for FREE!! Unfortunately they didn't have anymore batteries here but we will be back and owe him some tacos! Hahaha Jose is so nice and helpful! Please keep him! So after looking for a bit, I went to the counter where a very nice guy helped me out after helping someone else. But before that occurred, this same employee who wasn't in uniform looked at me and walked into the break room they have behind the counter in between the storage isles. That is when I started playing the video of me waiting there. Not only did he not ask me if I needed help finding anything, he also left his coworker to handle the other customer and myself. The nice employee helped me find where it was in the store, but unfortunately they were out of stock. 3 stars goes to the gentleman who helped me.
