Ordered from here again as it is the only place open. We ordered boneless garlic parmesan rings they were okay. If you have stomach issues like acid reflux I would avoid them. They are extremely garlicky and buttery. Both friend and I had uncomfortable stomach the next day. The pizza. I wanted to like it. The dough doesn't really have a flavor. The crust was too thick for me but not crispy enough and kind of fluffy and I like thinner bottom crust.. The sauce isn't too thick it's not too thin it's got an acidic flavor and a sweet flavor again just nothing special. There's a lot of cheese on it yet like the last time it seemed like it was almost burnt. Somehow all together it doesn't make it anything I want to try again. My roommate called it school lunch cafeteria pizza. Then he said it reminded him of Pizza Hut so if you like Pizza Hut I suppose it could be a good thing. I'm not a Pizza Hut person. Finally made it to Schuylerville pizza and pasta for a quick take-out experience. When I first called, the girl that answered the phone just said, "hello?!". So, I had to ask if I had the right number... she said, "yeah". Not the best first impression. But, I ordered the pizza and she said it would be ready in 20 minutes...and abruptly hung up. OK...whatever. Pick-up was a different experience. The girl behind the counter was friendly, courteous and efficient. All staff is masked and the seating area is far away from the takeout counter. There were a few tables with people dining in. I didn't expect it to be as large, clean and spacious as it is. The pizza box was hot and when I got home I put it in a 200° oven for a few minutes. The pizza is somewhere between a thick crust and regular-style pizza. I would maybe classify it as more doughy with a smaller, lighter crust. It's different than most of the pizza places that I've been to in this area, so that's a good thing. It's not NYC-pizza, but it's definitely a decent choice. read more

While traveling and viewing the beautiful leaves of the fall we decided to stop and get something to eat near Schuylerville. We tried a few restaurants from Yelp, they were closed, but we found Schuylerville pizza and pasta open. We were seated immediately, and the waitress took our drink order and brought it out right away. The place was not crowded, and this girl took care of both the counter and the tables. We ordered fried mozzarella sticks with Melba sauce and a medium size pizza with sausage. Both were excellent! The waitress kept our glasses full and stopped by a few times to make sure everything was in order. We were too full to take advantage of the desserts, but they had some cannolis and some cakes and a few other things which really looked delicious. If you're in the area I suggest you stop there, the food is good the service is good and the atmosphere is good. read more

I try this place when I come up to visit family every so often, hoping that they'll get better, because they used to be some of the best pizza and salad I'd ever had. So, I will say compared to my last review, it has in fact gotten better in terms of how the place is run. Granted, I got a pickup order on a Sunday night, but they were still handling delivery orders and the staff was friendly when I went in for my food. I'm mostly let down this time because the chicken parm that I ordered looked delicious out of the container. Smothered in cheese, over some angel hair spaghetti, as any good parm should be... and while I would have loved a little more chicken to pasta ratio, the issue was the chicken itself. It was all burnt, and made to be hidden under the cheese. So, I'm not sure if it typically comes with that much cheese or if this was to cover up the burnt chicken, but that was a let down, especially given the price of the food. I discovered Schuylerville Pizza & Pasta several years ago - before the fire/renovation - via a coupon in an Entertainment book. That did the job, because it convinced me to come back here when I could, even though they no longer participate with that coupon. They don't need to; their food speaks for itself, especially the pizza. They do a Greek-style pizza with a Greek-style crust, which I actually prefer. The crust is lighter and crisper. The toppings are very fresh. You definitely get your money's worth in terms of portions as well, and service is fast. But don't expect to show up on a "slow" night, because I don't think they have those. Tuesdays are half-prize for small and medium cheese pizzas, and there is a pasta special on Wednesday nights. Good luck - and use some patience - getting a parking spot on those nights, as they do a lot of take-out business. read more

Parking and access was easy, the facility is clean and open feeling. pretty comfortable. My wife had ravioli and marinara and raved about it. And she brought half of it home. I have a rueben and fries and I would have to say both were amongst the best I have ever had. This is the best pizza shop in Schuylerville. My 12 year old son had a small pepperoni pizza. My boyfriend ordered a roast beef sub and I ordered a chicken parm sub. This place is horrible! I came in here during lunchtime today and I was the only one there with my wife and daughter.. I had the roast beef sub. The roast itself is good but only got 3 small thin layers of it with a lot of lettuce on top, my wife had turkey and broccoli sub and she only had 1 layer of turkey. My daughter had French fries with cheese and bacon, that was good but not enough nacho cheese. The prices are very high for this small amount of food! My check totaled $35, $30 +5 for tip. Just for lunch.. I'm never coming back here again! The management either needs to up on their meat on subs.. I had to order fries separate because the sub does not come with a side. $10 for a roast beef sub with small meats and tons of lettuce.. I love this place. Prices are good. Food is 99% of the time on point and they don't close and reopen every two months like another place in town. The only thing I wish they would change is when contacted about an issue, they should respond. We notified them via FB, it's quick and easy for us to message them, plus it doesn't tie them up during busy times, but we had a problem with a delivery and they read it but never even acknowledged the small issue but it's a free pass. It wasn't anything extreme like we have had elsewhere. Delivery times are always fair for sure. Please don't ever close! read more

I give this restaurant two stars because the pizza was pretty tasty. I would like to give them one star because of their aggravating business practices. I ordered a pizza on half price Tuesdays just to arrive and have them inform me that a large pizza doesn't qualify. The pizza I paid for cost way more than I was otherwise willing to spend. They should have confirmed this rule when I asked them if pizzas were half price on the phone, then immediately followed with ordering a large pizza. They just reopened after a fire and we were hoping the pizza would have improved like the look of the new and improved dining room. No such luck. We ordered a 24 cut 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni and what we got was a lot of bread. VERY little cheese. The bread is super thick and has no taste. The sauce almost non existent. The pepperoni side had one or two pieces of pepperoni per slice. Really? Just awful and too expensive for what we got. I can get a much better pizza at Price Chopper for half the cost. Such a disappointment. It makes me wonder if the owner tries his own pizza. I don't think he/she does. Entrees range from lasagna, stuffed shells, spaghetti and meatballs balls to fish and chips and burgers and more. Schuylerville Pizza and Pasta has reopened after a fire, and it's even nicer than it was before. The dining room has been expanded and updated, and it seems busier than ever. It's still my mom's and my favorite place for pizza in the greater Saratoga region, worth a drive east to Schuylerville. My elderly mom likes to eat pizza in a restaurant setting rather than take-out, and she's pretty fussy about what she likes. We both prefer a somewhat crispy, lightly seasoned, bread-like crust, not too thick (a la deep dish) or underdone-doughy, with tasty sauce and rich, gooey cheese. The pizza here is exactly the way we like it (definitely not a NY or Long Island style). We recently went on a Friday night, and every table or booth was full. There were quite a few waitresses on hand, so service was fast and friendly. They also do a brisk take-out business. read more
