On the first visit, he got all our cameras functioning again. During the second visit, he assisted us with downloading recording, a process we had never done before. Finally, he installed two new monitors and upgraded our equipment. The new monitors are incredible; we didn't realize how crisp the images could be until the old equipment was replaced. Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. My daughter's laptop got a problem and it is not booting. My expertise to troubleshoot this kind of problem is limited. Since the problem is a little bit complicated, he advise to bring the laptop with him to make sure he can troubleshoot it at his place and provide better recommendation. It's good that the hard drive still works, however, it will require to do the reset/partitioning of the hard drive to have a bootable sequence again. Overall work is awesome. I recommend that you allow him to do this, as he then sees your computer in real time while you watch him 'arrow' around, repairing the problem or showing you how to do what you had been trying. He diagnosed the issue with my circa 2017 iMac and said the hard drive was shot. Here is the final feedback. He got it fixed quickly and when I got the computer home, he put in an SSD, solid-state drive, which we spoke about, briefly. Here is where he earned this 5-star review. He installed a Terrabite sized SSD. He could have gone with a 256 or 512, we did not even discuss it. To show his "code" he went with the 1TB model SSD.
