I hate leaving negative reviews but I selected this salon based on yelp reviews and felt led astray. After calling to see if they could accommodate a walk-in (yes), I had to wait over 30 minutes (so the correct answer was no). The waxing room was dirty and the technician left me bruised. For $65 I was able to sit next to my daughter for girl time pedicures.... And watch a mouse run across the floor and hide under the refrigerator. It was such a special time to watch the cuticle trimmer, as well as the nail clippers being rinsed off, after they had been used on me, IN my foot bath, while my feet were still in it. Nothing like cuticle clippings to bring out the softness in my skin. The view of their snacks piled along the divider wall gave me a clue as to why the mouse felt so welcome. No just no way this happened. I got my nail my actual nail ripped off. I had gotten tip and dip which I have never gotten one week ago exactly and 3 off my nails are falling off and one has ripped my entire nail off. I am never upset about this!!! Do not go to this place unless you don't want nails anymore. I am very concerned that all my nails might rip off. She was up charged for a service she didn't receive (special shaping) & up charged for a design (2 lines on a finger). Cost was $78, outrageous! I needed to drive a friend to a doctor's appt in Scituate, and booked a pedicure for myself at this salon that was unknown to me, except for Yelp reviews. Irene was very professional and pleasant, and even though I don't live nearby, I will consider booking another appointment with her - the foot and leg massage she gives is well worth the drive (and the extra tip), and I was in and out of there in about 45 minutes. The shop is clean, everyone was pleasant, and there seemed to be a lot of regular customers. I would recommend this nail salon to others. read more

Went here for my first time based on a friends recommendation. Very nice women working and a great selection of colors. I don't give it 5 stars based on how my lady did my nails. She cut them way shorter when I said to keep them long and the filing job just isn't the best. There's also two nails where you can see that she didn't layer the polish properly. Just stopped in for a basic pedicure and was very happy with the experience. Staff was courteous, facility clean. I was really surprised with the level of attention (massage, lotions, hot stones, etc) that came as part of a $25 pedi. My one critique would be that they could stand to refresh their nail polish stocks--a good portion of the bottles look old and janky. Luckily the lady who did my pedicure directed me to one of their newer OPI collections and I found exactly what I was after (and it was a nice fresh bottle). Got a great pedicure so the two stars are for that. However my nails looks like crap. I really shouldn't have left with how they looked but I did. I got a new set of nails and I don't know if she rushed because two more people walked in or what but they are uneven and the paint job looks like crap, she didn't cut my cuticles or the side of my nails. Going to my usual place to get them fixed, I just wanted to try to find a place closer to home. My husband even commented that he would go back. Ugh. I had probably one of the worst nail salon experience here. I've gone once a few years back and I decided to come in at this salon on January 2nd because others were closed. The woman who did my nails was a nice lady, but when it came to nails she didn't know a damn thing. I came in for a full set. She was using the spinning tool to file my nail before applying the tips and she scraped the skin on my fingers about 3-4 times which actually ripped off some skin on one finger. I was already mad about that, but then when she was applying the acrylics she kept layering and layering on the formula and I was literally watching my nails grow in height right before my eyes. She went over them unlike any other salon I've been to, then piled it one almost four layers. Aside from that, she also had NO idea how to shape the nails, they're honestly so bad I wanted to yell at her and rip them off when I got home, but I don't even need to rip them off. It has just been 8 days since I got them on and they all are literally just falling off. I do NOT recommend this salon. I know the ladies are not the same from when I went there about two years ago, but I did not know that going back. My full set was $30, I even tipped the woman, knowing I hated how they turned out. So disappointed and I should have called them the day after complaining because they are so bad. I'm really just upset because this was my first time getting my nails done after 2 years so I was hoping to feel really good after, but now I'm out $30 and already need to get them redone.... disappointing to say the least. read more

My first time at this nail salon was last week because I was part of a five person bridal party. We made an appointment well in advance and the salon was very accommodating. This salon is extremely clean - they use the plastic liner in the tub for pedicures for one example. They're all very nice - funny, too! - and do fabulous work. It's been a week and my gel mani/spa pedi look perfect still. I live in Quincy with plenty of nail salons close by, but will gladly make the trip to Scituate for another spa pedi there. I also think the price is definitely reasonable for the quality and customer service at Scituate Nails and Spa. I highly recommend!!! read more

I'm really bummed about this one. I've been going here for the past year and the last 5 or so times I went my nails were just not up to par. I'm left with tons of hangnails, my gel manicure has peeled within a week the past three times (which to me is just unacceptable) and the last time I went right before my bridal shower she gave me two very obviously completely different colors on my toes and hands when I asked for them to match. It's so close to home so I've been giving them the benefit of the doubt but at this point I'm over it and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Stopped in one day and I'm now addicted! The decor and music make you feel as if you're in a high end spa. The pedicures are more like an hour massage with hot towels, hot stones, five different types of leg scrubs, and then they paint your toes at the end.
