Love that we have this in town! Ice cream is really creamy with a nice flavor selection. The staff is sweet and upbeat and even though it's counter service, the staff checked on us a few times. They have a playground so the smaller guest can play while they eat. As for the food, it's classic taste give you State Fair vibes without the sticker shock . I went with the staff recommendation of The Bang Bang Burger. Classic burger topped with cheddar, fried onion rings, and chipotle on sourdough toast. I couldn't even finish it but I had to make room for dessert. The milkshakes are dangerously good and I loved the speciality versions. Don't worry you can work the calories off with mini golf after. There was a weekend, clearly this is a local favorite rush but the staff kept the line moving and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Sidebar it's hard to find small town gems and not worry about the atmosphere, I'm happy to report it was welcoming and the crowd was diverse. If you're in the area and need a place to stop relax and enjoy some good eats, put The Shack on the top of your list.

Always a great experience at the Cat's Meow! We had a 25 inch cheese pull with the French Onion…read moreSoup! We love their French Onion Soup! Typically my order is the Machine Gun Linguini. But for lunch I stuck with their Cajun grilled tenders and fresh cut fries. Typically you can't go wrong. My wife loves their summer berry salad! She claims its the best salad in Lancaster County! Service was quick and the waitress was very kind. The entire staff here is always great! If you love vibes, Cat's Meow screams a unique speakeasy restaurant. This place takes you back to the Great Gatsby. Tons of photos of Louis Armstrong and other famous people from back in the day! In the summer, Capone's alley is open which is their outdoor patio.

If you have a large party, you need to make a reservation since there's only 2 spots they can really put a party of more than 4. Parties of more than 4 have 2 hour time limits and parties less than 4 are limited to 1 hour just FYI. The food was pretty good, and the ambiance was cozy and classy 1920s theme. Love the history of the place and how it's well kept. There's a big banquet hall in the top of the building if you ever plan to host a large event (can hold up to 26 people) or dinner. The prices of meals are about $20+ (the appetizers are somewhere between $10.99-$15). Overall good experience!

Stopped by on our way back to Jersey after spending the day in Lititz. We love to go to cookie…read moreplaces and I saw this place on Yelp. Cookies are displayed on the counter and on a digital board with an explanation of each. The staff did a great job describing the many options they had- 14 that day! We also met the owner while there. She was incredibly nice and let us know about the business and what she hopes to add in the future. Very passionate about the business. We took home a dozen cookies but didn't try them until the next day. Each one was fresh, soft and not lacking on ingredients. They are so good! So much better than Taylor Chip and Crumbl- I don't like either. Can't wait to go back!

I like to shop in Karns great selection of meats, deli is usually a great place to get deli items,…read morebest pickled eggs and beets but today at Karns in Lemoyne they were out of Pickled eggs and the absolutely worst red beets I have ever purchased, had to throw out the pickled red beets but, worst of all no pickled eggs, The clerk said they all got purchased for Memorial day. No excuse for the deli to open without their best items available, good mangement for the deli would not let that happen. You shouldn't have excuses, you should have what your customers come to like and no excuses regardless of the day before or after a holiday. I prefer Karns for a lot of things from the deli, meatloaf when available for sandwiches, I greatly enjoy the hot foods, and the soups, the meat dept for a fine selection of meats, I especially like the stuffed pork chops and stuffed chicken breast, great baked goods especially the whoppy pies and the hot soups, and the already to eat chicken and other items from the hot food deli.
