lovely little cafe here!! homemade, fresh gelato being churned constantly behind the glass. they offer seasonal flavors and the peppermint chocolate was divine! service was fast and friendly, and prices were reasonable. i'll definitely be back to see what other flavors they have next time i'm in the area!

What a much needed business for Bayville and the surrounding areas! Scoop & Coffee is located on the same block as Mill Creek Tavern and Schultzys, across from the bank and Bayville Meat Center. They have homemade gelato, coffee and some light bakery bites. Service was friendly, and the cafe was very clean. I visited during the soft opening period and I didn't experience any hiccups in my order. I ordered a cappuccino, an americano and an egg and Swiss pastry. It was too early to try gelato but I'll be back!

Scoop & Coffee is a sweet little coffee and gelato shop conveniently located right in town. The small shop gets crowded quickly and there is limited seating inside so my friends and I grabbed some iced coffee and gelato and then found some shaded seats on a bench across the street. I tried the mint chip gelato which was creamy, refreshing, and sweet. The shaved chocolate on top was a nice touch and I loved the sweet wafer they added which made me feel like I was having a cone without the melty mess - the best of both worlds. Everyone inside the shop was nice and the service was quick! A great stop after the beach before heading home.

How incredible to find a coffee shop in tiny Bayville with espresso drinks, fresh baked pastries, and gelato stirred before your eyes. The owners, Andy and Michelle couldn't be nicer. We'll be back!

Unfriendly, but that I can deal with. The guy with the long hair constantly touching his face and hair as he is preparing food, is gross.

While on a corner on a pretty busy street, the location seemed slightly obscure. No parking - just 2 or 3 spots in front of the establishment. We came mid-day on a gloomy Sunday in February...so we didn't have an issue parking right in the front. We were greeted by the friendly associate. There were lots of great-looking gelato flavors which the associate also allowed us to sample first (very kind). She was very patient with us and really seemed to enjoy working there. We're BIG hazelnut enthusiasts, so we each had one scoop of hazelnut flavor and one of the Rocher (hazelnut) flavor. They also had an amazing fig and honey gelato flavors which was absolutely delicious. They offer 4 sizes - kids' size, and then the usual - small, medium and large. The small is 2 generous scoops - and that's what we went with. The overall experience didn't disappoint at all; we thoroughly enjoyed the treat, my hubby had an espresso coffee as well (very good) and we got a kids cup of vanilla for our pup. The prices were also decent and for this type of experience, I will gladly support a small business. I definitely recommend checking out this little gem. Will return once the weather get warmer!

Born in Italy and trained by the best, making gelato isn't his job, it's his calling. You can taste that distinction in every single bite. Mike is constantly developing new recipes, hand-picking fresh fruit at the market, and importing specialty ingredients straight from Italy when he can't find what meets his standards locally. This is a man who simply refuses to cut corners. My family and I have been loyal customers for nearly 8 years, and what's remarkable is that it's just as mind-blowing today as it was the very first time we walked through the door. That kind of consistency is rare -- and it speaks volumes. Over the years, we've brought roughly 40 friends and family members here for the first time. Every single one of them has raved about it. That's not a coincidence. That's excellence. If you're visiting for the first time, do yourself a favor: try the rainbow cookie gelato. You can thank me later. And while many people get it to go, I suggest having it there. The shop is tastefully decorated, it's clean, it's comfortable. For fifteen minutes you'll think you're in Italy. Caffe Italia isn't just the best gelato in the county -- it may very well be the best you'll ever have. Don't walk. Run.

Went there on a beautiful day, a perfect day for ice cream. Going in here is a huge hike for us being that we live 40 miles away. It's always a highlight to go, and we always order large cups when we go. Keep in mind this place is not a bargain, you generally get what you pay for and this place has always been worth it except for this trip. And with all my excitement, I neglected to see how much gelato was left for one of the flavors I ordered, and it was the bottom of the barrel-instead of the young gentleman talking me out of the flavor, he gingerly scraped up with all his might whatever was left in the bottom, then proceeded to ask me if I wanted a flavor that was similar to it... Shame on me I said no, and he proceeded to give me the other flavor I had asked for which is a chocolate brownie. As he scooped, I said you know what give me some of the cappuccino please-he huffed and puffed and arrogantly told me he could no longer do it... Why? You've only done a couple scoops of chocolate what's the big deal. Asking him a question it was like I was asking him a life ending favor. He then huffed as he took my husband's order. As we both ate our ice creams we were very mystified that it was lacking the flavors that it once had. True, we both had tried new flavors that we never had before, but it didn't have the same texture and it was overly sweet. Secondly, my husband got their waffle cone. Now let's talk about how the boy neglectfully scooped that waffle cone... He didn't put any ice cream in the cone only slapped a ball on top - that was it. The ice creams came out to $16 and honestly the waffle cone was flavorless! My husband wound up throwing it away as it probably was one of the worst waffle clones he's ever had. Maybe we need a break but we definitely need a break from that young gentleman who took our order... He needs a little polish refresher course on how to be a little more cordial and Little accommodating. Thank God for the tip cup! As for the parking, it's hell, absolutely satanic but that is not reflective of the rating. You are at the mercy of street parking and not easy to find.
