Having lived in Bayville for over 20 years I've never been here. I Stopped in after a long run for a treat to myself. The place is immaculate and clean. The staff isn't super friendly or personable at all. I ordered a maple sea salt latte. I was shocked when it rang up at $8.42 but I immediately thought it's a mom & pop shop and I wanted to support so the cost was a non issue as long as the drink was good. The coffee wasn't good. It was great! The flavors were so strong and distinct. The iced latte wasn't watery at all. It was absolutely divine. Well worth the cost! No doubt. Wow and wow! What a nice surprise! I saw the ice cream sign outside and decided to give it a try- expecting an overpriced regular ice cream spot. Instead we came upon fresh gelato being made in front of you, continually throughout the day. So decadent and sumptuous looking, watching it swirl around. I assume they change some of the flavors daily. They give tastes. They have limited toppings, in the hope you savor the flavors of the gelato. The salted caramel was outstanding! Toppings are: sprinkles , Oreo cookie crumble, chocolate chips. They have various coffee and tea drinks as well as some beautiful pastries. I find myself still thinking about the visual of the gelato swirling and the amazing smooth taste! I will be back. Wish it was closer! read more

As a local to bayville, I must admit, I've not been too impressed with their drinks lately. The matcha used to be my favorite, but the last few times I've come it tastes very watered down and not the greatest. The last time I came in, I had the barista recommend the banana matcha and it was so artificial tasting (I was told the puree was homemade) and it was just a bottled syrup. I was so disappointed. For over $9, I was at least hoping for some labor of love in the form of a homemade puree. read more

lovely little cafe here!! homemade, fresh gelato being churned constantly behind the glass. they offer seasonal flavors and the peppermint chocolate was divine! service was fast and friendly, and prices were reasonable. i'll definitely be back to see what other flavors they have next time i'm in the area! read more

What a much needed business for Bayville and the surrounding areas! Scoop & Coffee is located on the same block as Mill Creek Tavern and Schultzys, across from the bank and Bayville Meat Center. They have homemade gelato, coffee and some light bakery bites. Service was friendly, and the cafe was very clean. I visited during the soft opening period and I didn't experience any hiccups in my order. I ordered a cappuccino, an americano and an egg and Swiss pastry. It was too early to try gelato but I'll be back! read more

Scoop & Coffee is a sweet little coffee and gelato shop conveniently located right in town. The small shop gets crowded quickly and there is limited seating inside so my friends and I grabbed some iced coffee and gelato and then found some shaded seats on a bench across the street. I tried the mint chip gelato which was creamy, refreshing, and sweet. The shaved chocolate on top was a nice touch and I loved the sweet wafer they added which made me feel like I was having a cone without the melty mess - the best of both worlds. Everyone inside the shop was nice and the service was quick! A great stop after the beach before heading home. read more

Well, I have been waiting for someone to open a coffee place in Bayville, since we moved here, and my wish came true! A very pleasant and tastefully decorated store front, with all the best top of the line equipment, there is no way this artful coffee was going to taste bad. AND sure enough, it was delicious! The beans were fresh, and the customer experience was excellent. I dove into the Everything Bagel Cream cheese croissant and was in heaven. I hope that in the summer, they stay open little later so that we can enjoy some Gelato on the beach. THANK YOU for coming to Bayville! read more

Stopped in just before they closed (Sorry!!) and grabbed a few drinks. London Fog Latte was great! We also got a chai latte and an iced mocha coffee- both were excellent. We didn't get pastries or gelato this time but last time they were fantastic. Definitely love the cozy lo-fi music playing. The barista made sure she used to correct milk and was very nice! 12 minutes for black coffee. not handicap accessible. 2 steps no hand rail had to leave my mom outside i thought it would be quick. i was not she was annoyed. i mean 1 small black coffee. apparently no drip so everything espresso based whatever that means. so my black coffee was an americano. again, what ever that means. coffee was okay, not super hot. they have ice cream ( no fro yo yelp has no ice cream only category ) some pastries. opens at 8 (til 5) so not a place for a rushing commuter which i was hoping for because near by deli not always open at 6. so i have to stick with the east norwich deli. their coffee is better. read more
