Candy stores just make me happy, and this one is particularly good. I went in one day out of curiosity and wound up leaving with a package of truffles for my friend's birthday, as well as some rich, dark chocolate for myself. Since it's a specialty store, the prices were a little on the high side, but it was worth it, and they have all sorts of different sizes and choices of things, so you can get something small if you're poor like me. The sales lady was also really, really helpful and nice. When I gave the truffles to my friend while we were out with our significant others for her birthday dinner, she decided to open the box for dessert. Well, needless to say, the box didn't make it more than 10 minutes before it was empty. Those assorted truffles were little pieces of chocolatey, heavenly goodness with surprises in each one (some had chocolate inside, some caramel, some a pink fruity center, etc. etc.). I was under the impression that this was regular, run-of-mill ice cream store until I got a chance to look at the menu. Scoop Deville mixes their ice cream with their toppings (like ColdStone, but better), so that not everything is just concentrated on the top. (+) -Variety of ice cream flavors AND frozen yogurt -Endless combos of toppings -A special under 250 calorie menu (which is still delicious) -Huge servings -- I got a small, and honestly this was the largest small ice cream I've ever consumed, so even though the price might seem a bit high ($5/small) it's a LOT of ice cream -PB&J crunch: Berry frozen yogurt mixed with peanut butter, malt powder, and captain crunch; it sounds strange, but tastes delicious. My co-workers the other day decided that we should take an afternoon ice cream break, and I joined them more for the opportunity to get out of the office. As a big dessert fan, I figured it was time that I gave this place a try especially since it situated in the heart of center city. While the lines can be extensive especially after early dinners, I found myself lost in the extensive menu options available! As the ice cream is a blend rather than having a scoop of each flavor or having a sundae style ice cream mix, I decided to ask the kind employee for his recommendation and told them that I enjoy Cookies N Cream as my normal flavor. I instantly regretted coming here after taking my first bite since it was not the typical scoop of ice cream but rather a half milk shake half ice cream type of dessert. Personally, I felt really bad tossing my ice cream but it was just not up to par to any other place I have been to in the city. I am willing to give their other baked goods a try which I think might improve their score in the future. Still not as good as true creamy fluffy soft serve. But very nice nonetheless. The caramel they use is perfectly sweet and just a bit salty. Perfect. The smoothness of both the ice cream and the caramel was very nicely juxtaposed by the small crispy bits of toasted coconut. Go there and get this now. Update! This place is still the best spot around for satisfying your sweet tooth. I've been getting the molten chocolate blend which is perfect for chocolate lovers like myself. The last two times I ordered, they forgot the hot fudge (usually comes on the side), but it wasn't a big deal because the blend is plenty sweet. The place is sort of dim-light in contrast to the bright and colorful walls/interiors. I got the Froyo fruit special - vanilla yogurt with blueberries and strawberries. The yogurt itself was alright but the fruit were taken directly from the freezer.. The pieces of berries were really hard to bite into. I like frozen yogurt places that serve fresh fruit toppings 'really fresh', not frozen and definitely not when they are not thawed at all! Sorry but I have had better and won't be returning here. EDIT: The manager is really nice and responded immediately to my review. Apparently all their blended yogurts use frozen fruit. May be I will just stay away from the fruity ones and order different toppings (chocolate bits/nuts etc) next time. read more

First, the ambiance was weird. The place is dimly lit so it feels as if it's really dirty. The ice cream was nothing special. They don't have regular chocolate chips. We ordered a funnel cake sundae, a brownie sundae, and a fruit sundae. They messed up our orders. There's a lot of items on the menu that are no longer available, but they are still on the menu. There was nowhere to really sit and it was busy almost constantly. Also I think it's important to note that the ice cream was served in plastic to-go containers which felt cheap to me.
