It gave us just enough time to think about what we wanted. The shop was cute, with just enough seating for the amount of foot traffic we saw while we were there. Another five minutes or so and our rolled ice cream was ready. I had the oreo flavor, and added condensed milk on top, which was an excellent choice. The ice cream was wonderfully rolled and just cold enough to keep it in shape, but not so cold we couldn't dig in. The only problem I had was the brain freeze from eating it too quickly. read more

I love ice-cream! Especially when its creative. I had the snickers doodle cinnamon cookie ice cream. Fresh and flavorful. My girlfriend had the strawberry shortcake. I didn't try it so I can't comment on it but I'm sure it was great. She ate it all! They have alot of flavors and toppings too! You can watch the process of them rolling the ice-cream too. They seem to be using quality ingredients as the walnuts tasted fresh and were quite crunchy. The staff do not use rude words, but their facial expressions and impatient tone are worse than insults. From the moment you approach the counter, you feel unwelcome. They look annoyed, impatient, and clearly make it obvious that dealing with customers is a burden. Even if the ice cream were incredible, it still wouldn't be worth coming here because no one should pay to be treated poorly. Highly recommend very good service and the ice cream is fantastic. There's something so satisfying about seeing somebody roll your ice cream out, smoosh all the ingredients into it and then roll it back up for you in a little cup. Since quarantine started, my girlfriend and I have tried getting takeout/delivery from quite a few ice cream places, and this place has to be my favorite. Their flavor selection is vast. I ended up selecting oreo cheesecake, and I swear they smashed a whole slice of cheesecake into the ice cream. The matcha was also amazingly smooth and delicate. this was my first time experiencing rolled ice cream and although it's not for me, i'm happy i tried it. i got the snickerdoodle kind and it did taste good without a question, but i found the rolled shape kind of inconvenient to eat. not the best ice cream of my life or anything but it was solid, if it was in a regular format i probably would've given it 4 stars. the inside is pretty standard but i do always appreciate a public bathroom and a place to sit down as it isn't always offered in the city. the bathroom was pretty clean, the tables needed to be wiped down but it was busy in there so i can't fault them for that too much. as i said the business was very consistently coming in so we didn't see much of the service but the employees weren't rude or anything, our orders were made relatively quick so no complaints. read more

The first time I had ever tried it was at a shop in the Rittenhouse area that shall remain nameless and while it was good, Frozen was WAY better. When you arrive, you are immediately welcomed by the staff and encouraged to pick a flavor. Their selections are numbered and listed on an overhead board and they also have a menu on the counter with pictures of each selection.
