I love ice-cream! Especially when its creative. I had the snickers doodle cinnamon cookie ice cream. Fresh and flavorful. My girlfriend had the strawberry shortcake. I didn't try it so I can't comment on it but I'm sure it was great. She ate it all! They have alot of flavors and toppings too! You can watch the process of them rolling the ice-cream too. Friendly service and plenty of seats available. Its a relaxed environment to enjoy a sweet treat. I would recommend stopping by.
We were at Jim's for a cheesesteak and swung by this rolled ice cream place across the street for dessert. You get to pick up to three toppings, I went with the strawberry shortcake and chose strawberries, banana, and whipped cream, and my boyfriend had the snickerdoodle and chose graham crackers and chocolate sprinkles. It's really cool how they prepare the ice cream fresh right in front of you, and the way they roll it and arrange the toppings is visually appealing. it's fun, tasty, and makes for a perfect little treat after your meal.
This is a solid rolled ice cream place. You get 3 free toppings per cup. Got the Matcha Love with my choice of toppings: condensed milk, shaved coconut and walnuts. They seem to be using quality ingredients as the walnuts tasted fresh and were quite crunchy. I got the condensed milk to complement the nuttiness of Matcha and it worked so well - but that's just my preference. They didn't skimp on either of the toppings.
If you want some really good creamy rolled Ice cream this is the spot!! The ice cream melts in your mouth and it's so delicious, can even pick up to three toppings! The staff is so friendly and the service is fast! Don't chance parking out front in a spot that isn't an actual spot though last time I did that I walked out to a 75$ parking ticket I definitely paid for that Ice cream!

There's something so satisfying about seeing somebody roll your ice cream out, smoosh all the ingredients into it and then roll it back up for you in a little cup. The strawberry milkshake is fantastic. It is made I think with milk and frozen ice and ice cream it's thin enough to be drunk through the straw With minimal effort. It's also very tasty and very fresh. My kids were very impressed with the ice cream, both flavors and consistency.
The Ice Cream was delicious. I had the Valentine Oreo and Strawberry with condensed milk on top. No issues with the cashier. Wasn't terrible customer service. The place was clean and a nice place to sit down with the family and have rolled ice cream.

This place is located on South Street. Luckily for me, this place has late night hours (1130pm is late hours for old me). I really find it fascinating how the ice cream is chopped, spread, and scrapped up into a rolled goodness. It is incredibly light and tastes amazing every time I get rolled ice cream from this place. The service was very amazing as well. The cashier was so friendly and gave me a good low down of the flavors available.

My only complaint is that they don't have any non-dairy or vegan options unlike what some of the reviews say. If you like diary ice creams and have a sweet tooth, look no further than this place. Both their locations offer the same menu and ice creams.
We ordered a cup of rolled cookies and cream ice cream with two Oreos and chocolate sauce. To me it tasted like any other ice cream and was definitely not worth $7.50. My daughter got a fruit smoothie which was very tasty. I got an iced tea that was advertised as a "frozen specialty" with boba. It tasted good but barely had any ice in it at all so calling it frozen was definitely false advertising. The actual atmosphere is not very inviting and the service was unfriendly. For the price point I'd rather go somewhere else.

The matcha taste is blended to perfection as you do not get any hint of the matcha powder in it, which makes or break anything matcha related for me. This ice cream is some of the best ice cream I've had across the United States and not just in Philly. I have nothing but great things to say about their ice cream quality. Service: 5/5 - The workers are very friendly and accommodating to modifications. They were all so nice to us every time we've gone and I would give each one a 5 star rating if I could. Overall, this place is a must try in Philly if you are a fan of rolled ice cream. If you are a fan of matcha then definitely try their matcha rolled ice cream as it is the best matcha ice cream I've ever had and I'm not the biggest fan of matcha in general. I ordered the Hulk which is green tea ice cream with Oreos and I added rainbow sprinkles and whipped cream. I love cookies and cream so I wanted to try something a little different with the green tea and I was not disappointed. My friends ordered the cookie on call and raved about that as well. Next time I visit Philly I will be back!
We went in for a tasty treat on a late Saturday afternoon. The line was about five people deep, but it moved steadily and we ordered within about five minutes. It gave us just enough time to think about what we wanted. The shop was cute, with just enough seating for the amount of foot traffic we saw while we were there. Another five minutes or so and our rolled ice cream was ready. I had the oreo flavor, and added condensed milk on top, which was an excellent choice. The ice cream was wonderfully rolled and just cold enough to keep it in shape, but not so cold we couldn't dig in. The only problem I had was the brain freeze from eating it too quickly. read more
My sweet tooth was SCREAMING when I stumbled across this ice cream shop down South St. in Philly! & listen for only 7 bucks I got a taste of dessert heaven. You get your choice of your flavor of ice cream & up to 3 toppings(you can always add more if you like but of course you have to pay for it). Think gummy bears,chocolate chips,chocolate or rainbow sprinkles,if you crave it they most likely have it. & the best part is it comes w/ 5 rolled ice creams like fancy-schmancy sushi only it's dessert. We (party of 3)ordered 2 to share b/c we stuffed & being greedy(b/c when has being full stopped anybody from eating dessert). 1st creation:was Snickerdoodle cookie ice cream w/ chocolate sprinkles & graham crackers. 2nd masterpiece:was strawberry shortcake ice cream w/ bananas,strawberries, & whipped cream. The ice cream artists rolled up our ice creams(yes artists b/c this was performance art) rolled up our ice creams in front of us & then topped it w/ our toppings! Abracadabra it was like magic! Both rolled up ice creams were creamy & delish!The snickerdoodle had real pieces of cookie in it & alakazaam the graham crackers & sprinkles put the cherry on top. The straw berry shortcake had chunks of flavorful cake & the strawberries & bananas were fresh! Overall, I def will be back! In fact, I'm already plotting my return like it's a mission. I visited Frozen Rolled Ice Cream on June 17th, 2026 with a friend who recommended the spot, and it did not disappoint! The ice cream was made fresh right in front of us, and it was fun to watch the rolling process. The flavors were rich and creamy, with plenty of topping options to choose from. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere on South Street made the experience even better. It was a great treat on a warm day, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique dessert in Philadelphia. I'll be back again! read more

Since quarantine started, my girlfriend and I have tried getting takeout/delivery from quite a few ice cream places, and this place has to be my favorite. Their flavor selection is vast. I ended up selecting oreo cheesecake, and I swear they smashed a whole slice of cheesecake into the ice cream. The matcha was also amazingly smooth and delicate. Their service was also amazing; we got the ice cream to go and they included a ziplock bag of ice to keep the ice cream cold on our journey back home. We highly recommend this place and cannot wait to be back to try more flavors! read more

This review is short. I am not a huge ice cream person but this place is very lovely and over the top when it comes to flavor options and toppings. My favorite is always strawberry cheesecake. I didn't eat this ice cream this time I only took a few bits however I have had it in the past. It's so amazing how they make the ice cream right in front of you so you can see how the rolled up goodness is made. The ice cream is creamy and it's fresh. If they leave it on there too long it can go a whole different direction. Needless to say they make it pretty quickly and top it off how you like. The fruit toppings are very fresh as well. My friend got a green tea and it was very strong with jasmine flavor. It tasted like green tea potpourri. I haven't had a bad experience yet. I mean it can be pretty pricy for ice cream but I guess you are paying for the experience read more

This place is very clean! have a great variety of frozen handmade yogurt / Icecream that you can select from & also choose up to 3 toppings I can believe. My photos listed below you'll see that I have a strawberry rolled ice cream, with bananas , whipped cream topped with caramel drizzle. YUMMY? lol yes I know it was delicious! The price is very reasonable and they also have seltzer drinks in different flavors! I highly recommend especially shopping on south street or if you're just visiting south street you have to stop pass. Their service is top tier, quick and they're very polite! read more

Best ice cream location near Magic Garden. The ice cream is very creamy with the exact right amount of sugar. The sweetness is just perfect, not too much like many other ice cream shops. It has 24 flavors of ice cream with great selection of toppings. Wish they could have board game stuff like many other dessert place. Slightly disappointed that they don't have mochi as topping, but other than that. Very good ice cream place overall! Will definitely come back! read more

Rolled ice cream definitely looks cool, but if you're looking for actually good ice cream, go somewhere else. The ice cream itself is very mediocre. It tasted no different from cheap, store bought ice cream. They only have one size (which costs $7) and me and my boyfriend found it to be way too much ice cream for one person. The only saving grace was the fresh toppings. I thought the toppings would be blended in the rolled ice cream, but they just throw them on top? I could have done that myself.. read more

Stopped here for dessert after dinner and the menu was confusing but after I figured it out I got my ice cream. It was good and had some good flavor. Open late, good for a one time visit. read more

Rolled ice cream appears to be the sweet new trend these days! The first time I had ever tried it was at a shop in the Rittenhouse area that shall remain nameless and while it was good, Frozen was WAY better. When you arrive, you are immediately welcomed by the staff and encouraged to pick a flavor. Their selections are numbered and listed on an overhead board and they also have a menu on the counter with pictures of each selection. I'll admit, it took me a while to settle on a flavor, but I went with the Cookie on Call (cookies and cream) topped with chocolate chips, Oreos, and whipped cream. It was so rich and creamy that I'm glad to say I found my new favorite sweet spot on South Street! They have a second location in Chinatown as well. read more
