Taro dipped in white chocolate and Oreos.
    Erilia V.

I love this place. My husband and I brought the entire family here. You get to select your paleta by choosing your flavor, dip, and toppings. I went with taro ice cream dipped in white chocolate and topped with Oreo cookies--it was creamy, delicious, and not too sweet. Everything was made fresh and looked amazing. The prices are reasonable. Definitely coming back to try more combinations!"

VIRAL FOR A REASON! I ATE THE WHOLE THING, NO REGRETS Listen... I went in trying to be cute and just take a few bites for the vibe but that plan FAILED immediately I tried the viral Dubai chocolate paleta with strawberry and pistachio center and I could NOT put it down. The strawberry paleta is so fresh and fruity, then you hit that rich pistachio center with the INSANE crunchy kataifi and chocolate??? Actual flavor fireworks. The crunch is next level, like loud, dramatic, attention-seeking crunchhh, and it makes every bite so satisfying. It's sweet, creamy, crispy, and refreshing all at once which is honestly wild for a popsicle. AND THEN... the new viral Dubai chocolate chewy cookies??? Don't even get me started. We tried cocoa, ube, and strawberry and strawberry is HANDS DOWN my favorite The outside is this soft, fluffy, marshmallow-like chew, super bouncy and pillowy, and then the inside has that crunchy kataifi situation again?? The texture combo is actually unreal. Like chewy + fluffy + crunchy + rich all in one bite. Everything tasted super fresh, super high quality, and you can tell they actually put thought into the flavors and textures, not just making something cute for TikTok. If you love trying viral desserts, fun textures, or you're just a sweets girly like me... RUN. Don't "I'll go later." Go now. 10/10, would absolutely do it agaaainnn and eat the whole thing again.

So glad they opened another location outside of Chinatown. However, I will say that this location is also in another semi crowded shopping center as there are lots of restaurants and shops around. Same format and same great tastes and options as their first location except this area is spring valley.

First time trying The Paleta Bar. Service was great. We were greeted immediately by Alexis who was very sweet. She asked if we had been here before and we said we were new. She welcomed us again and thanked us for choosing to come in. She went over the process on how to order and what paletas they have. She had us start with a Taro sample as she stated it's their most popular flavor. We sampled a few others that they had but ultimately went with the Taro paleta and the banana paleta. We then walked over to the side and got toppings for it. She also offered us to try some of their fresh fruit juice, watermelon and also the orange mixed with pineapple. Both equally yummy. Overall would come back again to try more of their paletas.

Avocado flavored with milk chocolate drizzle, pistachio nuts and bananas just to add those bananas was $2.50 outrageous pricing!

The popsicle flavored pistachio didn't even have a flavor that you can actually taste and to add bananas to it was $2.50 outrageous pricing! I would never recommend this place!

Melt in your mouth deliciousness! The texture is ultra creamy like ice cream on a stick instead of icy. This is not your average popsicle! I ordered a variety including dipped and non-dipped bars. Luckily they have pre-selected combo dipped items so I didn't have to decide too hard. Service was great and super helpful. They even helped put extra ice packs in the foil bag and inside my Igloo cooler I brought, thank you so much really appreciate it, the bars didn't melt in this 105F July weather. Flavors: - Dubai Chocolate - luxury on a stick my FAVE - Strawberry Shortcake - Hazelnut Truffle - Cookie Monster - Coffee - Strawberry Cream Cheese 100% getting these again.

I love coming to the paleta bar for 2 reasons: the paletas are so delicious and recently one of my new favorite desserts & the service is always so great! My last visit I was helped by Jay. He was so accommodating and friendly. My favorite paleta is the strawberry con crema but unfortunately they have been out of stock for a while (please bring it back!!). Instead, I get the strawberry or strawberry cheesecake paleta drizzled with condensed milk and mochi--so yummy! Jay was so nice and gave me a mango con crema paleta to go so I could try it as it is similar to the one I usually get but is mango flavor instead. At the checkout, he also gave me a free agua fresca! I will continue to be a loyal customer to this establishment solely for their service, but hopefully they will bring back the strawberry con crema soon :)

Paleta pricing. A little high compared to other paleta spots around town

Checked out The Paleta Bar a few days ago for a nice cool afternoon treat. They have a lot of flavors with an option to have your bar drizzled, half dipped, or full dipped with chocolate. They also had a lot of toppings if you really wanted to get crazy with your paleta. I chose a matcha flavored paleta bar with a full dip of chocolate and topped with coconut. It was messy, but really tasty. My husband opted for the hazelnut crunch paleta with a chocolate drizzle. He also liked his treat, but did wish there was a little more crunch. This location was kept clean with ample seating to enjoy your dessert on site as well as a gender neutral restroom. Staff were fairly friendly. I will say their prices are a bit high compared to some other paleta spots around town, but we did leave satisfied :)

Strawberry Paleta with Lechera in the middle (White chocolate drizzle) And Coco Pebbles Paleta with white chocolate drizzle and nuts
    Susana L.

I wanted to try this place and we finally did ! The owners were so nice ! They greeted us and right always let us sample paletas . I wish I was able to have more than one but was stuffed from lunch. I took a gamble on the strawberries with Lechera in the middle and the gamble paid off ! That Paleta is the only one that you aren't able to sample because the condense milk would make it messy. It was delicious ! My bf tried a few too and blindly chose the coco pebbles Paleta and he enjoyed his as well. Will be coming back the next time we are in town!

A paleta ice cream bar opened up where the dipped banana place used to be on Rainbow! The store is nice and clean and service is great! Got the trendy Dubai dessert and a strawberry cheesecake paleta. Both were were good and price point was very fair. Thank you for opening one up in this part of town!

Upon walking in, we were greeted very nicely and felt welcomed right off the bat. Once the employees found out our guests were from Texas and were hit to visit, they were given a bunch of samples. The customer service was incredible. We were given super good recommendations, too! We were given this cool thermal bag so the ice cream stayed frozen for 30 minutes in case of a far drive. The store was super clean and I'm so happy there's one on this side of town now.

A great place to go after an AYCE kbbq. Although I was already full, my friend said I had to try this place. Glad I did as I ordered the dubai paleta. That's a winner! There's the crunchy nutty kataifi in the middle of the paleta & crushed pistachios as toppings. The paleta itself is really filling and such a treat. Service was great as he offered to let us sample a couple flavors. Located in a large strip mall with ample parking.

Welcome to the Southwest, Paleta Bar! I have been waiting patiently for you to arrive. The Paleta Bar opened yesterday on the corner of Warm Springs and Rainbow, taking over the old Lea Lana's Bananas location. This is their second location in town -- their first being in The Shanghai Plaza on Spring Mountain Rd. I actually really enjoy The Paleta Bar but I hated going to The Shanghai Plaza cause parking is a pain there. Now that they're opened in the Southwest, parking is way easier! We came by after lunch to grab something sweet. The establishment is spacious with tables. The "bar" set up is similar to their first location with a fridge displaying the paletas, topping area, and then the agua frescas before you get to the cashier. All the flavors that they have at the first location, they have at this location as well. They might not be displayed but they have them! If you ever want to sample a flavor, all you have to do is ask! For any paleta you get, you can get it plain, drizzled with chocolate, dipped, with topping, etc. There are endless options for you to choose from. My husband went for their hazelnut paleta with drizzled chocolate and almonds while I got a plain durian paleta. I love durian and I really enjoy their durian paleta! It has enough durian flavor to it and it's super creamy! Their service was fantastic -- super friendly and willing to explain the menu. They're also offering a small agua fresca with any purchase right now as their opening promo. Oh, they also offer a dubai chocolate strawberry cup! I think it's $12, which is pretty reasonable compared to other places! Overall, great place to grab a quick dessert! Definitely would recommend.

Just like most of the Uncommons businesses, very nice decor, modern, smart. Generally speaking I'm someone who really likes more simple flavors without a ton of stuff in it. Like I'm not a fan of Sorry not Sorry for that reason. So I was a little concerned I wouldn't find anything that suited me here because they do have some crazy sounding combos. Like give me a simple, fresh organic strawberry, or blackberry, banana or peach. But there it's Strawberry with balsamic and black pepper. Or flavors with goats milk or blue cheese. Yes that's right. After I tried a half a dozen flavors or so, I settled on Double Fold Vanilla LOL. I felt like I had already gotten my variety thru the samples and I needed to be grounded again. But honestly, I was intrigued what double, organic vanilla bean tasted like. At the last second our server mentioned how she liked to get Vanilla with one other flavor. I was so stuck on trying to figure out which flavor I wanted I didn't think about that. So I ended up getting the Coffee and Nuts flavor added. The vanilla actually had very little vanilla flavor to me, I made sure to taste it before the coffee and focused super hard. With a name like that I was expecting to get hit over the head with vanilla. I hadn't sampled it because after sampling like 6 already, I was getting self conscious and assumed it had to be good. It was still enjoyable but it was more like sweet cream to me, not so much vanilla. The coffee was one of the ones I tasted and I liked it. But to my surprise, once I had the bigger scoop, I discovered the big clusters of I guess are supposed to candied pecans (pistachios) I think she said? Whatever they were, they were really good and provided the crunch and contrast that I needed. Overall this is very high quality ice cream. It's a little more creative than I usually like for my flavors, but if you're into that, you'll really love this place. And with that said, I was still able to find a combination I could enjoy. Will try again next time I'm around the Uncommons and venture into other flavors.

I specifically requested that the cake be made using his high school colors while incorporating the flavors and design elements of Cold Stone's signature Strawberry Passion cake. I ordered a 12" x 18" cake and paid over $130, with a scheduled pickup time of 12:00 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. On the day of pickup, I arrived at approximately 4:30 PM to collect the cake. It quickly became apparent that my cake had either not been made or had not been prepared as ordered. Staff disappeared into the back and, after waiting more than 25 minutes, returned with what appeared to be a hastily altered cake. It looked as though the design from another cake had been scraped off and replaced with makeshift decorations in my son's school colors. During this time, I was also told they were trying to find a box for the cake. For an order placed over a month in advance and costing more than $130, I expected a professionally designed cake that reflected the specifications discussed when I placed the order. Instead, I received a cake that looked rushed, unfinished, and nowhere near the quality I anticipated for such an important milestone celebration. Graduating from high school is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and I trusted Cold Stone Creamery to help make the occasion special. Sadly, the final product and pickup experience fell far short of expectations. While I will likely continue stopping in for ice cream, I will not be ordering custom cakes from this location again.
