It was our first time and we wanted to get a dessert while waiting on our Chinese food order from next door. Our daughter told us about this place and said we'd like it. My girlfriend had the Maui Wowie and I tried the Cotton Candy, we absolutely loved it! The service was amazing, both girls gave great suggestions and let us taste test some of the flavors before making our decision. Came to Pineapple Park on the way out of Vegas and enjoyed our lil' sweet treats! Located on the outskirts of Vegas, Pineapple Park serves classic Dole whip and ice cream. There are also baked good offerings, baked by one of the owners (shoutout Vyvyence!). The inside is clean with some basic seating and a counter with ice cream displays lining it. We ordered: - Dole whip float - this came with a cute little flamingo inflatable. So adorable and the float itself was super refreshing. - Praline pecan ice cream in a waffle cone - the SO's go-to flavor and he enjoyed it. Service was only aight. So I went here last week and meant to post it sooner, but I'm a scatter brain so better now than later! This place has become my favorite place for an ice sweet treat! The POG is just to die for which is passion fruit guava and orange. The service there is welcoming and they can really hype up their menu for first timers. Then the ambiance is a good place to chill, sit down, bring family it has lots of options to be what you want it to be! Excellent spot! Sold whip is spot on and they have several flavors, as well as other treats to tempt you. It's in a grocery store strip mall, so a perfect pit stop when running errands on a hot day. Great variety and tasty treats! We came for thrifty ice cream, but I did leave with a small dole whip to try since I've never had it before. It was creamier than I thought it would be, and I didn't know they were vegan! There are 2 cases full of thrifty ice cream flavors, which can be hard to come by in the city. I left with a double scoop of cookies and cream with a lid for later and also got a very small pineapple dole whip. It was swirled high and was cool and refreshing. This is a great summer treat, I'd say it's almost like a sherbet. The place is a little on the smaller side and there was a large party in there sitting and eating when we went in, so it was a bit tight. You can get pints or quarts of the thrifty flavors, which is super nice! The service was really quick and super friendly. They even have frequent visitor cards! I was dying to try POG for the first time. I never had it in my life and I never had Dole soft serve before. The place was dark for some reason so I thought it was closed. The ice cream they give you is big for the price. However, I can't say I liked it better than your average frozen yogurt place. The soft serve tasted too artificial to me. It wasn't bad but certainly not something I would go out of the way for. I am curious about the Bonsai but I have a feeling it's just scooped out pineapple filled with soft serve ice cream. read more

Looks generously tall for good tasting ice cream. Inexpensive for this type quality here. If you're a Thrifty ice cream fan, they have great flavors to select from. Comfortable seats/tables inside for relaxation in the blue setting. Happy vibes. Good cashier service. Nice staffs. Dole Whip and Thrifty Ice Cream! Finally made it here, after hearing great things about it. It's located near Smith's in Southern Highlands. The Pineapple Dole Whip is total Disney vibes and amazing. I grew up on Thrifty Ice Cream and it's been years since I've had it. I had a scoop of the Caramel Caribou, which is toffee ice cream with caramel and mini chocolate caramel cups...yum! The seating area is small, but it wasn't busy so we got to sit down and enjoy our treats. The young man at the register was very helpful and patient with us. My boyfriend always likes to get whatever is most popular when we try somewhere new. The cashier was very helpful with helping us pick things out. 4 stars only because the inside was dirty, the floors, tables, seats and walls looked like a party of kids came in and there were 2 people on duty when we got in and no customers so they could have cleaned, outside wasn't much better, their tables had ice cream stuck to the table, someone had even left some coins that were stuck to the table, covered with some kind of chocolate ice cream or syrup. PP gets 5 stars for offering Dole Whip AND Dippin Dots - what a home run. You can usually only find those two treats at an amusement park in the summer! Their menu also offers poke bowls and shave ice, but we opted for soft serve since my partner said it was incredible the first time she went. We only sampled one flavor. Maui Wowi is like a cherry lemon sherbet that was hard to say no to, but we opted for Circus Animal flavor. It's pretty self explanatory, with iced animal cracker cookies blended into a light pink ice cream. It tasted a little bit like a sugar cookie flavor without going too hard on sugar. My partner and I agreed it was pretty light for a sugary flavor, and we liked that a lot. I also ordered Dippin Dots but sadly realized that they were much cooler and tastier in my childhood. I snuck more than a few bites of my partner's ice cream. The customer service was hit and miss. A younger girl working the counter was really nice and helpful to all the customers that walked up, but the guy that served us looked like he hated his job and was annoyed to be there. He kind of had a little bit of a tone, so we didn't ask for more than one sample. I don't really care for over the top service at an ice cream shop, but just something to note.
