Pineapple Park in Southern Highlands is such a fun find. The shop is colorful, bright, and spotless, and there's plenty of parking which is always a plus. The staff was genuinely friendly and made the visit even better. It was our first time and we wanted to get a dessert while waiting on our Chinese food order from next door. Our daughter told us about this place and said we'd like it. My girlfriend had the Maui Wowie and I tried the Cotton Candy, we absolutely loved it! The service was amazing, both girls gave great suggestions and let us taste test some of the flavors before making our decision. This spot is my niece's & nephews favorite dessert spot! My nephew will always get the pineapple strawberry swirl dole whip and my niece will get either the dole whip or the thriftys ice cream. We love how it the ice cream shop here in southern highlands and very convenient. We haven't gone on a busy day and we're usually served right away. The inside is super kid friendly thus why they love coming here! read more

I was dying to try POG for the first time. I never had it in my life and I never had Dole soft serve before. The place was dark for some reason so I thought it was closed. The ice cream they give you is big for the price. However, I can't say I liked it better than your average frozen yogurt place. The soft serve tasted too artificial to me. It wasn't bad but certainly not something I would go out of the way for. I am curious about the Bonsai but I have a feeling it's just scooped out pineapple filled with soft serve ice cream. read more

Love this place! The girls who work here are so friendly and informative about the ice creams! They have so many different types of ice cream combinations! I had a double scoop of the cocounut & pineapple & the cotton candy! Both were literally so delicious! Go try it! Love this place! Ever since moving nearby, it's become our go-to spot for desserts. The prices are super reasonable compared to other dessert places around that have gotten so expensive. I also love that they have a stamp card -- we've already filled ours twice! The crepes and ice creams are always delicious and come in generous portions. There's so much in store - literally! If you've got a picky group and need a dessert place they have you covered. Especially when you're a fan of Dole whip! Thrifty ice cream with various flavors, macarons and sweets. The service was friendly and efficient. Inside is clean and similar to Baskin vibes with blue rather than pink. Has a tiny bit of a refrigerator type smell inside but you can also order online before hand and pick up upon arriving! On our cross country road trips, we always make a pit stop in Las Vegas for my mom's favorite - dole whip. The dole whip from Pineapple Park is one of the best we've had. Dole Whip and Thrifty Ice Cream! Finally made it here, after hearing great things about it. It's located near Smith's in Southern Highlands. The Pineapple Dole Whip is total Disney vibes and amazing. I grew up on Thrifty Ice Cream and it's been years since I've had it. I had a scoop of the Caramel Caribou, which is toffee ice cream with caramel and mini chocolate caramel cups...yum! Pineapple Park is one of my favorite local dessert shops close to my home. Not sure what excites me more, that they serve Dole Whip or Thrifty ice cream. I grew up going to Thrifty drug stores and getting a scoop of ice cream on the way out, so Pineapple Park serves up some nostalgia for me. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You can sample flavors before selecting what you'd like. The inside is casual with a few tables and a couch to sit at. They also have outdoor seating which is good for enjoying your dessert when the weather is nice. They have a stamp card so you can earn a free scoop of ice cream or Dole Whip after a certain number of purchases. 4 stars only because the inside was dirty, the floors, tables, seats and walls looked like a party of kids came in and there were 2 people on duty when we got in and no customers so they could have cleaned, outside wasn't much better, their tables had ice cream stuck to the table, someone had even left some coins that were stuck to the table, covered with some kind of chocolate ice cream or syrup. The cone which my friend got (Mango dole whip in a sugar cone) he loved and I loved my Coconut Pineapple Smoothie--It was vegan. The Guy behind the counter was nice enough. I would go back--I would love to try more vegan flavors (they had strawberry, Lime, Mango, Orange, Passionfruit and more) Prices are very reasonable as well, $13 for 2 items. :) read more

This was pretty good. The ice cream wasn't exactly premium but the flavor combinations and portion sizes definitely elevated it for me. How could you go wrong with this many dole whip flavor options?! I was sooo excited to get my dole whip fix & was even more excited to see they had POG flavor! Everything was delicious. The seating area is small, but it wasn't busy so we got to sit down and enjoy our treats. The young man at the register was very helpful and patient with us. My boyfriend always likes to get whatever is most popular when we try somewhere new. The cashier was very helpful with helping us pick things out. PP gets 5 stars for offering Dole Whip AND Dippin Dots - what a home run. You can usually only find those two treats at an amusement park in the summer! Their menu also offers poke bowls and shave ice, but we opted for soft serve since my partner said it was incredible the first time she went. We only sampled one flavor. Maui Wowi is like a cherry lemon sherbet that was hard to say no to, but we opted for Circus Animal flavor. It's pretty self explanatory, with iced animal cracker cookies blended into a light pink ice cream. It tasted a little bit like a sugar cookie flavor without going too hard on sugar. My partner and I agreed it was pretty light for a sugary flavor, and we liked that a lot. I also ordered Dippin Dots but sadly realized that they were much cooler and tastier in my childhood. I snuck more than a few bites of my partner's ice cream. The customer service was hit and miss. A younger girl working the counter was really nice and helpful to all the customers that walked up, but the guy that served us looked like he hated his job and was annoyed to be there. He kind of had a little bit of a tone, so we didn't ask for more than one sample. I don't really care for over the top service at an ice cream shop, but just something to note. We will definitely return to try one of their Dole Whip floats! read more

This place is the best. They sell Thrifty ice cream. If you know you know. I bought a carton of Chocolate Malted Crunch. We also got a banana split it was MASSIVE for 9.00 you could easily share it with 2-3 people. Hands down one of the best sundaes. The kids got a single scoop of Cotton Candy. I got the strawberry shortcake with strawberry Dole whip. It was so good and very filling. The dole whip was amazing and super light definitely would get it again. my favorite part was the little cake that was inside, it was so good. Our name is inspired by the wonderful Dole Soft Serve of Hawaii. Dole Soft Serve is a healthy alternative for those who seek a lower calorie, yet a flavorful option. However, for those who require ice cream, we have that too! Our menu is a glorious smorgasbord of sweets, including; crepes, frozen bananas, boba drinks, and much more. We also had the chance to try The Sonora as a second dish to share. It featured tender carne asada steak, roasted tomato salsa, fresh guacamole, and jack cheese wrapped in the same delicious crepe. The steak was juicy and well-seasoned, the salsa added a bright, smoky kick, and together it created a bold, Mexican-inspired flavor profile that was just as impressive as the Rosarito. What made the experience even better was the incredible service. Our server, Lili, was absolutely phenomenal . She had amazing customer service skills and she anticipated our every need with genuine warmth, attentiveness, and a smile that made us feel completely cared for. We also got to meet Elizabeth, our talented crêpe creator, who clearly pours passion and skill into every dish. Jenn and her husband have built something truly special here. The quality of the ingredients, the thoughtful flavors, and the welcoming atmosphere make Crepe Expectations stand out.
