Such a cute place in downtown Ocoee. They amount of choices in flavors is amazing and there are flavors to cover every different taste bud. I loved my mango flavored SnoBall!! The staff was super helpful in explaining the menu and sizes. They made the SnoBalls super quick and the ice is shaved to be super light and the flavor sticks to the ice (not like some of the other snowballs where the flavor runs to the bottom and you get just ice to eat). This is a window order establishment, but they tables and umbrellas set up outside where you can sit and enjoy your snack and they even had a giant connect 4 and Jenga for customers to play. Stopped by after school yesterday with a few friends for a treat. It was HOT so a snow cone (or as they call it snow ball) was just the ticket. They have many different flavor options as shown on their menu. We enjoyed the outside area and picnic tables. They have several games available including connect four, jenga, tic tac toe, hula hoops and corn hole. The corns enjoyed playing while the mamas caught up. It's a pricy spot! We paid $9 for 2 kiddie size cups. Cute but have a hard time spending almost $10 for snow and sugar water. The prompt being "junk free" aka dyes and corn syrup but I didn't get to see the labels to confirm. read more

This is such a cute gem in the downtown ocoee area. The owners are such sweethearts and so friendly, they're absolutely adorable and make you feel at home! The menu is huge and the options are endless. Definitely can be overwhelming but they help and guide you through it. The ice literally feels like snow and the perfect consistency is soft and perfect for each bite! We got the cantaloupe flavor with condensed milk added on top and it was DELICIOUS! We were also able to try their take on a root beer float and yes. Just yes! Highly recommend checking them out! Oh man it's so exciting to find a genuine snow ball place! There aren't many in the area so I was so excited when we finally got to come in and give Pelican's a try. WORTH IT. We came right around when the Barbie movie came out and they had a special "Barbie" flavor and that is what I ordered. I love that they come up with fun specialty flavors so there is always something new to try. I highly recommend the Unicorn as well. I wanted to stop by and check out this new snow cone shop in the area. Plenty of flavors to choose from and you're able to mix and match them. I ended up getting the tradition flavors. They weee a bit busy and it took a while for my snow one to be made. They did mess up the first snow cone they made me because the girl put too much syrup. The snow cone was mediocre and a bit hard. Pelican's Snoballs in Ocoee has the best Snoballs around! We've been eating Pelican's since 2009 when we lived in North Carolina and to have one in Orlando is awesome! It's a must try if you haven't had one before. There wasn't a wait when we visited and they have some yard games set up to entertain the kids, tables with umbrellas to give some shade, and they're right next door to DG donuts...one stop for 2 of my favorite spots?! Yes!!!! They offer over 100 flavors and we've tried at least half of them over the years. Even the Dill Pickle flavor is delish- it was a favorite of our oldest daughter for a few years when she was younger and she still gets it every now and then. Each time we try a different flavor it becomes a new favorite. It's definitely a great way to beat the Florida heat. read more

There are over hundred base flavors to choose from along with topping options. You can also have a snoball stuffed with ice cream or pick one of the seven or eight Signature SnoBalls. I went with the coconut cream snoball. The ice reminded me of powder that you ski on. It was pleasantly delicate and nicely flavored. ....Definitely a tasty and refreshing treat. The owner and staff were very friendly and helped us pick out a good choice, which is not an easy task for a newbie given they have 100+ flavors all made in-house. Oh, happy day!! These snowballs are the real dealio!! The ice is soft and clings to the delicious syrup. There are plenty of choices for everyone's taste. I went old school New Orleans and hit a spearmint with condensed milk. I ordered hubs a creamsicle with condensed milk. So so good! I can't wait to go back to try some of my other favorites. Right next to DG Donuts' new location in the historic district of Ocoee is Pelican's SnoBalls. I had watched it being built when I would visit DG Donuts and knew I would stop by. Decent parking and easy to find. The time came the last day of June 2022 and me and my family took a little trip. Half of our eating posse visited the always excellent DG Donuts. Half of our eating posse wanted to try "the new place" to the location and to us personally. The selections are slightly overwhelming. So very many!!! I am not great with narrowing down a huge list of things I like down to one so I decided to go with a fun name and ordered the Maui Wowee. It made me laugh and honestly, just say it, you won't regret it. It was fantastic! I should mention a lovely young lady took my order who was open and more than willing to give me details on each flavor, which I appreciated. She even attempted to ask questions of exactly what I was looking for to help me decide. But ultimately I could not have been happier with Maui Wowee. They have the perfect mix of ice and flavoring. At the end, some flavoring to slurp but not too much. Seriously, bring the family here for an afternoon outing. You can eat outside or walk around the historic district (which is like two blocks so it isn't boot camp by any means) while eating. Or a couple blocks East, off the historic district, is Municipal Lakefront Park (at Starke Lake) which I really enjoy going to. Great job, Pelican's! You have a new regular patron. read more

Pelicans snowballs is just great! My entire church youth group went(76 kids plus adults). And they were very generous. The staff said we could have two flavors and a topping. Speaking of flavors theirs over a hundred to chose from. I highly recommend strawberry and pink lemonade. Plus, they had fun games to play while we were waiting to order.
