We visited Scoopy Doos Ice Cream & Bakery on Negan's 6th birthday, and it was the perfect place to celebrate! Negan is a therapy dog, and after spending his birthday visiting patients at Delray Medical Center, this was the perfect gift for him. Miranda was so welcoming and genuinely excited that it was his birthday, which made our visit even more special. The shop is absolutely adorable, with so many fun photo spots, and Negan loved sniffing every corner. The ice cream selection was amazing! He sampled the Prime Rib and Bacon flavors, but for his birthday, he proudly chose the Birthday Cake ice cream. Beyond the ice cream, we were so impressed by everything the store has to offer. They have grooming, high-quality food, toys, treats, and a fresh bakery. I also loved that they only carry products made with quality ingredients. Negan even picked out his very first giant Lamb Chop toy! One of my favorite parts was the treat station--you can handpick your dog's treats just like you're in a candy shop. This is a great little boutique shop for everything dog and cat related. They have accessories in the way of clothing, hats, sunglasses and the usual collars and leashes with cute designs. I got a few bulk snacks for my daughter's dog but they also had dog ice cream and baked good that looked good enough for a human to eat. The service was very good and the guy behind the counter was very friendly. (must be a dog owner) read more

Last weekend, I noticed that there was a special dog event going on at Scoopy-Doo's, and my dog, Saint, and I were excited to check it out! You see, I have been down Atlantic Avenue and seen Scoopy-Doo's many times, but sadly, I never had had my dog with me at the same time. First of all, what an adorable store! It's full of whimsy, and bright colors. The owner, Diana, was so sweet and helpful. She told me all about their homemade ice cream, and her passion for animals is absolutely undeniable. She encouraged Saint to try a couple flavors to decide which one he wanted most. . He decided on the bacon and cheddar ice cream with some pork toppings. As if specialty ice cream isn't fun enough, the availability of a variety of toppings just tickled me! Saint was very excited to get his own bowl of ice cream, and gobbled it down pretty quickly! Besides the ice cream, the store is also a well stocked retail dog and cat store! From treats to toys, to accessories and freah baked goods, Scoopy-Doo's has a little bit of everything! We had fun shopping, and enjoyed meeting other doggy friends inside the store. All in all, our morning at Scoopy-Doo's was really fun, and made my dog so happy! Scoopy Doos! My brother and SIL were visiting from GNV and we took our dogs out for a nice walk down the Ave. It was such a hot day and my brother asked if there was a dog store near by. One store popped up in my mind because I kept seeing their ad on FB. With the bright vibrant purple store front, some lounge chairs and doggy bowls of water for passing patrons to partake on such a hot day, I knew this was the place to take our dogs to get some much needed A/C and treats! We were greeted by a very friendly employee who was able to give nice little samples for our pups to taste before buying. My pup has anxiety eating in public, so she didn't get any ice cream. Boy, did my brother's pup enjoy her scoop of "Bacon Me Crazy" ice cream. Usually they would put it in a cup, but if you're dining in, they put it in a dog bowl! How cute! This is a nice mother/son owned business and their mascot is their family dog! They sell so many treats from ice cream to birthday cakes, bullie sticks to their very own brand of dog treats! Shortly after posting my first review I was contacted by Dianne the owner. She was extremely helpful and indicated the person who assisted me was not familiar with the stores policy. The issue has been corrected. My malti-poo eats the Crave4 Venison and Scoopy Doo is less money than the on-line retailer I was using. We went here for the first time to celebrate my dog's 2nd birthday! So cute. You can take a picture under the Happy Birthday sign and put on a happy birthday hat on the dog and yourself (LOL)! There are so many treats to pick from for your pup. I bought her peanut butter ice cream (she loved it) and brought home a Happy birthday dog cookie for her! There are treats specifically if your dog is more sensitive or not! There is a reward/loyalty system as well (although I paid cash for the ice cream so they didn't put any loyalty # in or ask me if I had one...that she should have asked me...). Went for the Delray Affair festival and after walking for a while, my pup definitely needed a refresher! The ice cream has sugar, xanthum gum, and other things your pup doesn't need. Their frosted cookies are loaded with things that are bad for your dog! Bad for humans too, but let's focus on the pups.
