The rain put a real damper on everything and there never seemed a good place to stop today, but finally we got a break in the weather and CDR Naturals popped up in Bourbon, close to the freeway and a description loaded with promise. Coffee bar, smoothies, juice bar, organic groceries etc. What we found when we stopped was a delightful family run store with friendly owners and a super personal approach. Bourbon is a tiny town and everyone who came in while we were there was welcomed by name. The coffee bar has two stools and no dairy on hand so we enjoyed expressos with almond milk and a vegan milk chocolate bar. Our well behaved pup was welcomed and water provided.
