Not the best Scooter's location Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here. My fiancé and I have been a HUGE fan of Scooter's as a place for a quick pick me up for a few years now, so we decided to give this location a try as we haven't been before. Ultimately it did not live up to the other locations' standards in either service or product. We were stuck in the drive thru far longer than we should have as the barista could not get our order to save her life. We ordered, verbatim, an Iced Matcha with Hazelnut and Almond Milk, and were met with: "Matcha?" Yes. "With sugar free hazelnut?" No, regular hazelnut. "What kind of milk would you like? Is 2% fine?" No, almond milk. It took her so long to input the drink in between questions and us repeating the entire order over again that we didn't bother ordering the second drink we were planning on. We did, however, risk accepting the offer to add Birthday Cake Bites as all we had to say was 'yes.' We also realized only after we were pulling forward that she did not ask for a drink size, and decided it was not worth whatever hassle it was going to be to potentially change it and decided to go with whatever we got. When we finally received our order we were promptly handed two Cake Bites and waited for what ended up being a small drink. We were surprised she didn't make any attempt to up-sale it to a larger size since she chose the size herself but, again, we didn't bother. When I tried the drink I was almost glad she made it a small as it did not meet the expectation I've come to have with Scooter's. It was an okay drink, but the flavors were not as strong as what I've had at the previous locations I've visited. It was not bad, but both the matcha and hazelnut were weak in taste. The cake bites on the other hand were great. I would have given 3 stars if this wasn't a Scooter's, but because I do love this chain it's getting 4. Had the barista not asked every single part of the drink over again barring the size, and I will give her credit for making sure the drink was right, our order would have been a complete disaster. I can't say we'll return to this location as it wasn't worth the headache. read more

I was having a rough morning after dropping my cat off at the vet and was met with the sweetest workers! The Manager, Tim was my order taker and was so incredibly kind to me and even asked about her when I came back around later in the day. He was super cheerful and friendly which I appreciated and really needed in that moment. I got my usual go to drink, the Apocalypse RedBull Energy Drink and it was delicious as per usual. I love scooters because I know the drinks here are made with love and attention to details. It's nice to see a workplace environment with such good energy and enthusiasm. Simple, quick, and easy. I was in and out in 5min. The coffee is pretty good, and well worth the $1 for a small. They do other things, but I'm all about the coffee at a coffee joint. It's a drive thru and they are efficient. It's a simple menu and the service was friendly and courteous, which made the bet of trying a new coffee to-go place worth it. Tried scooters for the first time the only downfall is they do not have soy milk and I'm allergic to dairy milk and almond milk. I get tired of having to use coconut milk in everything, but anyways, I ordered the iced carmelicious . The coffee only comes in a medium or a dark roast so the coffee was a bit too heavy for me and it tasted a little bit bitter and burnt. I'll give it a second try in the future. read more

Having been to locations in Nebraska, I'n glad this new (to SA) chain is on my way to work. The coffee is better and cheaper than other nearby options. I've ordered online and in person and orders are always accurate and fast. Staff is friendly as well. The $1, 3-count mini donuts are good too. read more

I'm happy to be able to enjoy Scooter's without having to drive way out to Bergheim to get said enjoyment. For this visit I tried the Pumpkin Spice and Maple Bourbon blenders. Both were just alright. I returned at a later date and tried the Oreo Blender which was a night and day difference from the other two blenders. They used to have a really good Pina colada smoothie but it looks like that was scrapped. As far as hot coffee drinks go, they need to expand that part of the menu - the only drink that's even slightly appealing to me would be the Gramma Nut Latte. I guess that's the upside to coffee shops having a moment where they're popping up like a pandemic - there's no shortage of places to go and everyone's menus/offerings are different enough to keep things interesting and competitive. read more

I used to love scooters over Dutch bros and started coming to this location instead but the service has been horrible these past weeks and getting worse . Rude staff , the drinks are watered down iced coffee ; I forgot to ask for creamer for my coffee and they didn't ask if I would like cream or sugar. They usually ask and I'm happy they went the extra mile for customer service or to help me find a great drink. Lately the iced coffees have been so bitter that I shiver because it tastes so gross . I'll be back at Dutch bros or I'll have to make the drive to 7 brew or Starbucks. Also I've asked for pumpkin not pumpkin spice as tbe 2 are fairly different tastes and I always get the spice or extra spice and it's not what I asked for the last few times.
