He recommended I call an HVAC guy. I just had an HVAC technician come out and HE confirmed that is is, in fact, a plumbing pipe leak. He showed it to me and I can even touch and feel the water leaking on the pipe. $80 on the plumbing service call that gave me the wrong diagnosis completely (and made me spend another $65 on an HVAC service call) - seems like I got duped.
