There is no medical professional I trust more than Scott. He's seen me and my family through so much over the decades. I cannot recommend Dr. Katz enough. I suffered with extremely painful sciatica for over three weeks. I could barely move. The medications my MD prescribed hardly worked and left me very tired and spaced out. I was desperate. I posted a request on our neighborhood app and was recommended to Dr. Katz. I had no real experience with chiropractors but decided to give it a try. I visited Dr. Katz 4 times over a 10 day period. After the first visit I was able finally to put weight on my leg. After the second visit I could walk comfortably and after the third I felt great. On the fourth visit Dr. Katz basically said to come back if I felt any further irritation or wanted a "tune up." Dr. Katz made a believer out of me. I found him to be knowledgeable, skilled, friendly and a good listener. He didn't try to upsell me on anything or artificially prolong my treatment. After 6 months of pain from a pinched nerve/lower back issues and no relief from a physical therapist, I found Dr. Katz. This was a game changer for me! Dr. Katz is amazing! Very intentional with his treatment and willing to take the time to explain what he is doing and why. I had been having terrible lower back pain. I made an appointment and after my first visit, I saw significant improvements and felt a drastic reduction from the spot where the pain was starting. I saw all these positive reviews for Dr. Katz so I chose him. I came in for pain in my neck and right shoulder that had been going on for weeks. This was my first time at a chiropractor and I was a bit nervous. Dr. Katz was very nice and seemed very trustworthy. He explained what he was doing which made sense at the time. I completely trusted him. Then he had me roll to my side and did something to my lower back saying he was releasing an air pocket or something and I heard a huge CRACK. He said that was normal. The following day I started to get pain in my lower back that I have never had in my life. I did not go there for my lower back, but my neck and shoulder. It is now over 2 weeks later and my lower back is getting progressively worse and is now so painful I can barely move! I left a message for him and so far no response. I don't know what to do. Go back to see if he can fix what he caused or find another chiropractor? I really hope I don't have to live with this pain for the rest of my life! Dr. Katz was recommended to me by a friend who has seen him for seven years. I was experiencing excruciating pain in my left leg, which made it difficult for me to sit for extended periods of time, kneel, walk up and down steps, and stand. I thought the pain would subside, but it got worse. I visited my primary doctor, who said I had tendinitis. I was given some exercises to do, which I attempted, but couldn't tolerate the pain. So, I called Dr. Katz, and recieved an appointment within two days. My visit was the first time I'd seen a chiropractor. I was not sure what to expect, and was a little skeptical, but hopeful. What I appreciated most about my first visit was Dr. Katz did not make outlandish promises. After approximately two months of visiting Dr. Katz, twice a week, and following his recommendations, I am walking, standing, and sitting, without pain. My visits have now been decreased to once a week. Dr. Katz has shown himself to be genuinely interested in my well being, as well as knowledgable and skilled. His approach is straight forward, with a heavy dose of common sense.
