Then I got my Doodle. My doodle was a puppy mill rescue momma and was not used to spaw days. She rolled like a gator while getting a bath. But then she got a bit better. While I've been away taking care of my mom, she got very matted. She fit my dog into her busy schedule, shaved her, trimmed her ears pretty and her tail too. But most importantly, alerted me to the fact she had an ear infection. My boyfriend took her to Pet Guards and they gave him meds that he can't administer on his own. So she offered to help give her meds while I'm away. I cannot tell you how kind and gracious a person Leslie is. And super talented. She's like the dog and cat whisperer!! Take your fur baby to her. Today I was in the Cuyahoga Falls area, and I desperately needed my goldendoodle to have a bath and a good scrub before a school meeting. I contacted them first thing in the morning when they opened by going in so they could see the dog and I could provide the vaccination records. This way they could see what kind of job it was. She had short hair so not as bad as a long haired dog. I was greeted with a huge smile and welcoming attitude. It was so lovely. They checked the schedule to see if they could possibly fit her in for a bath And Melanie said yeah I think I can fit her in. I'll have her done in an hour and a half. I couldn't believe it. The timing was perfect. Sure enough they called me in an hour and a half. The dog is ready. When I arrived to pick her up, she was happy And the staff member Melanie was again welcoming and full of smiles. It's such a nice way to be greeted. I find nowadays that isn't always the case. They did a great job on the dog. She was well brushed out and looked spotless. Smelled great. I asked Melanie if she Can do hair trimming like she saw on my golden doodle? I asked because it's a fancy cut long on the legs short on the body, a little bit of extra on the muzzle on the topknot. She assured me that she could do that no problem And anytime I needed help to give her a call. I will definitely be giving her a call. The location is great. The accessibility is great. They keep the doors locked and there's a ringer on the front door. It's a great idea because they don't have to have the overhead of a front desk person. Everyone in there is working. You ring the bell and you have to be patient. Wait a minute or two because they might be in the middle of bathing a dog. Something clearly happened at this facility to make them that distressed. I called multiple times for updates and was never called back. I decided to show up as we live close to this location and the young lady who was monitoring the front desk was scrolling on her personal phone. Unacceptable customer service. When picking up the dogs they clearly did not listen to any sort of grooming instructions I had given. You would imagine they would know how to groom popular dogs breeds at this point but that is NOT the case. To make matters worse, they developed upper respiratory infections shortly after. The only exposure they had was at this facility. That says a lot about the lack of sanitation and care being provided.
