Everyone who worked there seemed very friendly especially all the ladies in the front. Dr. Richards did really well making my daughter smile immediately upon meeting by blowing bubbles towards her. She surprisingly stayed calm for her first teeth cleaning...it was either Dr.Richards goofiness or the episode of Bluey iPad above him. I am very impressed with them taking her picture of her first appointment and giving me a copy. Such a cute keepsake! I can't say enough good things about this place! We walked into the most beautiful office, clean, inviting, and child centered. They have the cutest trees house in the waiting area. The front desk staff were courteous, since I had taken care of the paperwork beforehand there was no wait time for processing. We were taken to back by Molly, the dental hygienist and she was so wonderful with my 4 year old. She walked her through each step of the process, no surprises. After her cleaning we met Dr. Joel, he came in blasting bubbles which was super fun! He did his assessment of girlies teeth and we talked about good oral hygiene and methods to keep cavities away. Overall, such a great experience both for me and my kiddo. We both are looking forward to her next visit! I highly recommend this office of you are like me nervous about your kids first experience with a dentist. This office has sweet staff and a wonderful DR.

After receiving 2 filling due to cavities I was in serious pain but was told it should go away in a few days. 2 weeks later I'm still waking up in extreme pain and discomfort. We made another appointment and came in to talk about doing more work on my teeth but they don't accept my insurance. But I was glad to pay out of pocket and told them. That was the whole reason we came here because they told us to come in for a consultation. I was then told by that they could not accept me because if the government found out that they did work on me they could get in to trouble. Wait! What!? Now remember I'm deaf but my hearing girlfriend was there to interpret for me and we both sat there in shock about this information. My insurance is not Medicare or Medicaid. But I am being turned away for a reason I still can't wrap my head around. Because we were told they would get in trouble by the government if they found out North Star did work on me. Right before we left the agreed to at least look at the tooth that was causing me so much pain. I will say they were very helpful in trying to find me a dentist that might accept my insurance. As well as a specialist to perform a root canal. We did appreciate them at least for genuinely being helpful in that regard. I walked away sad because this was the place I honestly felt at peace with and wanted this to be my go to dentist.

So I set an appointment to get this done, but I set an earlier appointment to get the crown done, so that I wouldn't lose the filling I had from A previous time. So when I can to the appointment, the lady said okay, I understand we are doing a root canal, and clean the left side of your mouth. and was confused because I was there for something completely different, I think one of the things that should be done is have something written out which plan of action is being taken at each appointment, so their is no confusion, especially in cases when their is a lot of work to be done. They made it work with my insurance, that is the thing that I am most grateful about this place, Dr Papp is legendary, I have a maybe a handful of dentist in my life, and from my experience, he is truly, a cut above the rest. when I went to my 4th appointment, the root canal that final got done, was a supper-smooth process, he dialogs great with customers, and he is world class. If you get a choice I would go With "big papa!" That's what I call him in my head. This location doesn't discuss preventive care much with patients, so it is important to make sure you ask them, to keep the work they do intact. If you make an appointment, they will not leave you in the dark, the with email you and text you often to remind you, so they have great follow-up, But If you can't make an appointment let them know because they have a big customer base They bake cookies fresh every day so they definitely make an effort, to make a great atmosphere, But just a few things to work out.

They pressured us into agreeing to treatments on healthy teeth that had received no X-rays. Their approach as stated by their surgery coordinator is 'all or nothing'--either agree to their full surgical treatment plan that can include additional work not identified prior to surgery, or else they won't see you. You basically sign your rights away before surgery and your kid can come out with all capped teeth without you agreeing.

After not hearing from the office, I've called 5 times since November. (Initial appt in Oct) I've spoken with Latrea, and one other scheduler every time and they assure me the physician will follow up. It hasn't happened yet.

I really admired how he always remembered details about me and my life and always enjoyed making conversation with him. Years ago, I chipped my two front teeth after falling on my face and Dr. Khan worked with a specialist to restore my teeth through a root canal treatment and gave me crowns to replace the teeth I had chipped. Dr. Khan allowed me the opportunity to shadow him over the summer and I could see how much he truly cared for each of his patients and how he was able to complete so many different types of procedures! Dr. Khan works quickly, but not at the expense of treating his patients like real people. He ensures that Polaris Dental Care is a comfortable and warm environment where patients feel like family. Christy, who manages the financial/logistical aspect of the office, is also great! She is so friendly and makes sure all of your questions get answered.
