Great, honest guys. I first called Scott's Pool Service because I noticed my pool turning green and had no idea why. I pay a monthly pool service, my pump was running every morning, the filters were clean, but my sweeper refused to budge. Within two minutes, Josh knew right away that my actuators weren't working. Josh asked if I had a power drill, and after removing a couple screws suddenly my sweeper was moving again! I was grateful, and asked how much I owed. Josh refused payment and went on his way. Once summer came around, my water started looking bad again. Ever since the first call, I had been in charge of manually moving the valves back and forth since I no longer had working actuators but I clearly wasn't doing a good job and was unable to keep up with the cleaning schedule once the heat arrived. I called Scott's back since I appreciated their great service so much the first time around and we ended up replacing the entire panel and controller, which included new actuators. Let me tell you about Scott's Pool Repair and Remodeling. I had my Sta-Rite heater stop working and come up with an E-1 error code. It was late but I left a message on the work line. The next day I get a call back from Josh and he tells me he'll be out to take a look that day. I have had him work on the pool equipment before and my previous experience was good. So glad I called him again. It took him about an hour and he had it cleaned out and working again. He was very honest and I appreciated him giving me insight to another part needing repair in the future. He was able to give me pros and cons from his experience. After our pool heater stopped working we were unsure what to do, we called and had two other pool companies come out, and although they changed many parts on that heater it did not fix the issue. When we called Scott's Pool Repair to come out, Ty quickly diagnosed and identified the issue which was the heat exchanger. He then came and replaced the bad unit. He was on time, kind, professional, quick, and very knowledgeable about these pool heaters with more than 20 years of experience working on them. This is the kind of technician you would want working on your unit as it is hard to find good, knowledgeable service techs these days. Oh gosh Josh! This man just saved me about $400! His father installed my pool pump in 2015. Since then, Josh tells me he and his brother bought the business. I called him this morning to tell him my pool pump wasn't working. He said that pump should not have died so soon and he was near by, so he came right away. It was a minor electrical issue and he didn't even let me pay him for the service call. I'd been negotiating a new pump online with a company that wouldn't sell me what I have due to new CA laws and I had lined up someone locally to install it for me. I had contact with Josh, he was amazing!! Our pool quit pumping and cleaning and started draining the hot tub when the pump was on, as of Friday. I called frantically looking late that night for someone expecting it to cost an arm and a leg to fix. Monday morning as soon as I woke up, I got a call from Josh saying he could run by in the morning and give me a quote while I was at work. About an hour to two hours later he already knew exactly what was wrong and had a quote ready. He told me it would be around one to two days to get there and fix it, when I got home the invoice was on the door, he already had installed the part and fixed the pool! It was no where near what I expected it would cost, they were very reasonable and responsive. I was very impressed by there service and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Called to set up an appointment to see if they can come out to see the pool for acid wash. Response was horrible and rude." This is pool Industry and we don't schedule appointments. We get 80-90 calls a day for acid wash etc and we just don't schedule appointments. We come out when we have time. Which it only takes ten minutes" I really want to give this company a zero for there customer service. I told Scott that I am sorry that I called. Had a leak in my return pipes, underground somewhere, and a leak detector said it was in pump. Josh disagreed, but replaced seals anyway to show it wasn't there. (Didn't charge for this) Leak guy came back out 3 more times before finding leak, and each time, Josh and Ty cut and dug and finally found and repaired the leak. They charged for only a single dig. Incredible. They replaced my DE earth filter with a sand filter last year. Far better and easier to use/clean. Good price on that also. Highly recommend them for any pool/equipment repair/replace. read more

Josh and Ty from Scott's Pool Repair gave me excellent advice, and fixed the leak in my pool pipes quickly. They saved me $1000's by realizing that the guy who located the leak near the skimmer basket was wrong. The leak detector recommended digging up the gunite around the skimmer basket which costs 1000's. Instead Josh figured out another way to test for the leak location and verified that the leak was elsewhere. They quickly fixed the leak and charged a very reasonable amount.
