I contacted Chuck's to help me install a new Hayward pool filter housing. The new housing had different attachments than my old one. He got back to me right away and requested a photo in order to troubleshoot the issue. He recommended I take off the connector from the old unit and install it on the new one. It was a straight forward swap that he walked me through. He could easily have made some money off me by coming out and doing the install himself. His response was "you spent enough money all ready". Late review but we called Chucks pool service in regards to our drain lids popping off. For the last 2 years we have had multiple people attempt to fix them with a high service charge, only for them to come off again within the week. Shout out to Mike! My pool was so gross and green, despite me having perfect chemical levels. I just couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Mike showed up and explained the function of each of my pumps and also taught me about the chemicals he used and what they do. I like how he made sure to also teach me the right things to do when maintaining a pool rather than just getting it done and leaving. When I first made the appointment he called me back the very same day. I felt like I had a great connection with him right away since he was so easy to talk to. Almost like I knew him before lol I definitely felt comfortable having him come to my house. They charge a very reasonable fee to have the pool maintenances once a week for a month too. I lost all of my electricity coming into my pool equipment. While it was not an easy fix, Mike didn't give up. He found my out of production equipment to replace and after having a new motor fail, he got me new pool equipment at a great price! I've had a terrible experience with my last pool service, so i tried doing it myself watching youtube video. After several hundred dollars on chemicals and several trips to the pool store, i gave up and called Chucks pool service. It was Thursday before Fathers day and my pool was pretty green.Mike came out and with in the first 30 minutes he had done more than my last pool guy sdis in the 5 months i used them. Where do I even begin? If I could give a 10 star rating, I would, Mike was incredible! We initially reached out because we could see some air bubbles constantly coming out of the jets ,and large air bubbles in the pump. Due to our current pool service not doing the best job, we decided to have somebody else come and take a look, and I am so glad we found Mike. He found time to come by the day after we called and he fixed EVERYTHING. I mean, we were blown away. The pool vacuum hadn't been working right for months, he replaced parts here and there and it is back to working and looking as if it is brand new, he fixed the air in the system issue by showing us there is a part that needed to be clean that, after 2 years of owning this house and pool, we had never been made aware we needed to do, and addressed any other concerns or issues we had. What did he charge? Nothing. All he asked was for an honest review, and for us to consider moving to his service instead. Mike not only knows what he is doing (he really does know his stuff, it's incredible), but he is a one man business and does it all on his own. Michael came out within days and looked at my pool and soon as he walked in I could tell he was a expert. Within mins of being at my pool he removes the filter bowl and inspected everything and then dove in with his expertise.
