Overpriced and inaccurate representations of what they are able to do. "Hand milled" letters came crooked and uncentered. Custom colors were not close to what was shown on the website. All was intended to be "translucent green". Offered little sympathy other than a minor rebate to my total cost or to send back in and have 'some' of the items fixed.... but at least another month. No care about how they ruined my putter or willingness to listen. I expressed to the service team member as well, this is not what the brand should represent. But now when someone sees my putter, they will hear the story and see the true craftsmanship. Very disappointing. I believed sending directly to SC would be a more professional path than a 3rd party. I should have read these reviews before.

Since the time I posted this review they have stepped up and made it right. They are re-refurbishing the putter as we speak and have gone out of their way to do the right thing. I very much appreciate it. Except for their initial response I would give them a five-star rating. Thank you, John!

Not worth my time or money anymore. Worse as the years have went on. Mass produced, stock material. I have been a supporter of Scotty Cameron putters since the late 90's. I have sent 3 putters back to the "custom" shop, and the last 2 have been a complete disappointment! Paying top dollar for pieces of "custom" work and then having your stamp location requests denied both times is unacceptable. The stamps are extremely small, and having two stamps on the toe/face of the putter should be an option! Either increase the size of the stamp, or allow multiple stamps if there is reasonable room. Having a sales associate call me and say, "the option is unavailable so choose one or the other" is poor business. Completely ruins the entire concept of the custom shop. If the stamp location is approved and offered as an option, then allow two stamps there if it reasonably fits, especially if there are no other locations and it is at my request for my putter!!! "CUSTOM" For this most recent putter, I am essentially paying for a putter head to be painted black now that my stamps have been denied...kind of silly in my opinion. I could do that in my back yard with a can of spray paint....ruins the entire satisfaction of the "Custom Shop." No thanks. The putter before that, my single stamp request got denied, so I essentially paid for the putter to be painted platinum. I probably could have polished it with brasso and saved myself hundreds of dollars. Both occasions were similar requests that were paid for and completely in line with what the shop is already offering. They were very reasonable and simple requests as well. Really disappointing all around. It's a shame that Scotty Cameron company is willing to lose major promotors and longtime supporters due to a simple request for customization.

Love my custom FuturaX Prototype putter now- took two visits but John Pinney took care of my idea. Not easy to maneuver through all the options on the digital request-It would be nice IF they would clarify your concept at the onset and not leave it up only to the "paint department".

I was interested in irons and a new driver and 5 wood. I only signed up for an irons fitting but we finished that part early and Kasey kindly let me hit some drivers and 5 woods. I ended up purchasing Mizuno irons and the Taylor Made Qi10 driver and 5 wood. Kasey wasn't pushy at all, just really nice through the entire process. I could have purchased the clubs elsewhere but I wanted to give him the business. I love my Qi10s and will be picking up my irons today. Thanks Kasey for the awesome service and experience!

Front door had recently been smashed in, so starting off was already put off by the aesthetics. That's not their fault as the landlord is responsible. From there it was down hill. I came in for a new driver fitting. I only tried 4 different drivers, all at the same loft and feel ultimately leading me to be 45 minutes in. Around the 40 minute mark my coach finally was able to get some improvement on my data. Although they weren't nearly close to what we should have been able to do he recommended me a $650 driver that was not perfectly tailored or fit for me. The experience seemed slow to start, transitions between clubs took around 5 minutes of waiting. I hit more warmup shots waiting to start than I did shots evaluating my club selection. Overall, disappointed in my service and will have to book a new driver fitting elsewhere.

The swing evaluation at GolfTEC really clicked with me though; you're provided with instant visual feedback (side view & down the line) and metrics on every swing. I walked out of there with the 3-month/10-lesson plan and it's been great fun! The swing evaulation fee was waived, and you even get a fitting thrown in for free also as part of the plan. That I enjoyed my time there is mainly down to the instructor, Don Luvsan, who's been a fantastic coach! Equal parts creative in his methodology, and patient in his delivery and reinforcement. He's a real asset to the facility and I've greatly appreciated my time under his tutelage. Thanks in no small part to Don, I've got a much more consistent swing, and I know why from all the visual feedback. In fact, I just posted my best score on a round this weekend, and have tons more confidence from any situation because we've walked through all of it during the sessions, and all the feedback and video summaries of my lessons are in the online portal if ever I need a refresher. They've got a great sale (which appears to be annual) through the month of August, so I'd encourage you to give Don a call for a swing evaluation and see if the coaching resonates with you. Mileage may vary, but with the 'Game Plan' i signed up for, you get to practice at the facility 3 times a week outside of your usual lesson. When things were quiet, Don was always happy to poke his head in to check on me and work through some sticking points. All that's left is the fitting. Looking forward to it, and I'll be booking in with Don again after I've developed a few bad habits on the course.

Four stars for TaylorMade Golf. I'm a fan…read more When I first started playing golf, throughout the 90s and into the mid 2000s, I was a Callaway man. Every club in my bag, from driver to putter, was Callaway. Then, when the USGA limited the size of driver heads to 460cc, I decided to buy a new driver. I went to my local PGA Tour Superstores and demoed a bunch of them. I tried them out on simulators and recorded my stats (e.g. ball spin, club head speed, distance, launch angle, and of course, accuracy). I also checked the clubs out and took them with me to the range. I had multiple demo sessions between two PGA Tour Superstore locations and the range. This was a big investment decision for me, especially since these drivers cost hundreds of dollars each. Brands I tested included Adams, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, TaylorMade, and Titleist. After extensive testing, the driver that came out on top for me and my swing was the TaylorMade Burner. I still use the driver to this day with relatively consistent results. I've been very happy with it. It's got a stock regular flex Fujikura graphite shaft and I've had the grip replaced with the tried and true Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip (it's on all my clubs but the putter). Other TaylorMade products I've regularly used include golf balls and golf gloves. I really liked playing the TaylorMade TP Reds before they stopped making them. They felt great. Recently, I've been going through boxes of TaylorMade Dad-isms golf balls. They're more of a gift than a "serious" competition ball. My dad found them on sale/clearance at his local sports store/golf shop. At my skill level, they work just as well as, if not better than, the old TP Reds I used to play. As for gloves, I currently have a small collection of TaylorMade Tour Preferred and Stratus gloves that will last me for years. Again, my dad found many on sale/clearance, this time, at the Golf Galaxy (IIRC) on Hilton Head Island. The gloves feel great. They fit well, are smooth and comfortable, and help give me a good grip on every single one of my clubs. I prefer the Tour Preferred gloves because each one comes with a roughly quarter-size magnetic ball marker on top of the velcro flap; not one of those tiny snap-in button ball markers. Dustin Johnson supposedly wore the same glove (either the Tour Preferred or Stratus, I'm not sure). At the time of writing this review, TaylorMade has a star-studded lineup of PGA Tour players that it sponsors including Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Collin Morikawa, Jon Rahm, Matthew Wolff, Rickie Fowler, and Rory McIlroy. Currently, TaylorMade's most expensive product is the SIM Driver with an MSRP of $549.99. "SIM" stands for Speed in Motion, a "reshaped" driver with a "speed-injected" "Twist Face," among many other features that have been marketed and hyped up. Twist Face has always sounded gimmicky to me, but admittedly, I haven't tried out the relatively new technology yet. Regardless, TaylorMade is one of the pillar golf brands of today and in my experience, they produce solid clubs and accessories. I recommend their products to casual golfers.

I found this business through Yelp while searching for a custom shirt company for a large multidisciplinary project with other investors. Their excellent reviews, quality work samples, design assistance capabilities, and small minimum orders for samples made them appear to be an ideal fit. After reviewing their website and options, I reached out over a month ago but received no response. Assuming my message didn't go through, I contacted them again via Yelp on August 15th and received an initial response. However, after I replied, I had to follow up a week later due to no response. They responded again, and I provided the additional requested information on August 25th. I followed up on September 3rd, and it has now been two weeks since my last message. While I understand the challenges independent businesses face in the current economic climate and have been extremely patient due to their 5-star reviews, this level of communication has been completely unprofessional. As a former small business owner, I always maintained transparency about whether projects were within my scope, ability, or bandwidth. If I couldn't take on a project, I communicated that clearly rather than leaving clients in limbo. After more than a month of unproductive back-and-forth, I question whether these 5-star reviews accurately reflect the current service experience.
