I have tried Evnroll putters multiple times in the local golf shops and always impressed with the feel and results. Then I was lucky enough to be in the Carlsbad area during a business trip and scheduled a 2 hour custom putter fit session with Alan. The location is easy to find and is very nice and clean inside. The front lobby has a practice green and selection of accessories and apparel. Then you head into the studio and it's a very professional setup. Alan has been doing fittings for years and it tells, he didn't waste any time dialing in my setup. What a wonderful fitting experience! Alan was great I was fitted in the morning and golfed in the afternoon at Torrey Pines. First hole nailed a 25 footer to save par...wow. I flew in from the Bay Area to have my current Z1 38 Tour Spec Black putter (purchased from GG) fitted to me. My putter fitting was excellent! Alan is very knowledgeable and attentive. He took time to learn my current putting habits, where I felt I was proficient and where I thought I needed to improve. During the fitting he made a few adjustments to the lie and loft of my putter to better match my swing and he also helped with ball placement, stance and swing technique. I had an amazing fitting with Alan on Thursday. The process is simple, bring your putter to their fitting location in Carlsbad. You hit a several putts and their state of the art system tracks everything from your strike speed, swing angle, ball rotation, I mean EVERYTHING. Then they swap you for one of the Evnroll putters to see what your putts look like with their putters. The Evnroll putters get adjusted based on the data the system gets from your putts. A few tweaks here and there to the grip, the weight balance, and then ultimately your personal preference until you have the perfect combination dialed in for your perfect putter. The only thing left is to choose color and BAM! Alan made my putter in about 10-15 minutes. The only problem after leaving Evnroll is figuring out when your next tee time is! Thank you Alan!
