There was a part of my brain that said hey just get the five dollar breakfast sandwich, but when I try a brunch place that's highly rated I am compelled to get the eggs Benedict. Because any brunch place worth their salt should have a really good eggs Benedict on the menu. Again, wow, I am so glad I ordered the eggs Benedict. This is the best eggs Benedict I have had in years. The hollandaise sauce was rich and smooth and absolutely delicious. They also gave me a choice of potatoes or salad, I took the potatoes because: breakfast potatoes! They were perfectly crispy and creamy. They also delivered a little pot of their house sauce, which was made of cilantro and mint, and a bunch of other things. I tend to avoid cilantro and mint foods. In the past, I have described eating cilantro as biting down on a piece of tinfoil, a sensation that says "run for your life!" overtime my reaction to cilantro has mellowed, and I don't really understand why. But? I ate every bit of that house sauce. I'm so glad I tried it, and tried it with the eggs, Benedict, because it added a perfect level acidity to cut through that richness, and really elevated the dish. The top it all off, the service could not have been more welcoming, efficient, friendly. What a wonderful place!

We both ordered the Hannah, which came with housemade sausage patties and hollandaise sauce. The hollandaise was rich, buttery, and absolutely delicious. Also give the chai latte a try!! I love when a spot supports local artists and community events. They have a bar inside, a small outdoor covered porch area, cozy little artist corner, and tables spread throughout the space that make it feel comfortable and inviting. All staff was helpful and working together to making the whole experience run smoothly. The playlist was a 10/10 too. Overall, this was such a fun breakfast spot, and we'd definitely come back!

Dreamhouse - Tomatotini was one of the most creative takes on a martini that we tried all summer. Espresso martini was on point amazing.

anyone who is giving a review under 4 stars needs to be sedated because you are simply just crazy…read more let me start with how i found this place on a whim. walked inside, immediately greeted and sat down. the ambiance of the place is just incredibly cozy. the food? holy moly. i got the spicy vegan peanut bowl... ugh i had to stop myself from licking the plate. i will say charging $3 for a piece of cheese is kinda wack, but hey. if that's the only thing i found to complain about then who gives a damn.

We stopped in for dinner last night before heading to the Roomful of Blues concert, and…read moreunfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Our server seemed overwhelmed from the start. It took nearly 30 minutes just to receive two PBRs, although I will say the price was surprisingly reasonable at $3 each and the pours were generous. After we finally got our drinks, another 30 minutes passed before the server returned to let us know our food would be "another 15 minutes or so." At that point, we decided to leave. The restaurant was not especially busy--there were a few occupied tables, but certainly not enough to justify waiting over an hour for a salad and two appetizers. That kind of delay simply should not happen. What made the experience worse was the staff's response when we raised the issue. Rather than showing any concern, the attitude came across as dismissive and indifferent, as if our frustration was an inconvenience. Needless to say, we left without ever getting our food and will not be returning. Just a note the table next to us mentioned " Yeah this place can be hit or miss"

The soup was delicious. Hardy and homemade. I paired that with a sour. Today's sour was strawberry and lemon and it had a great taste for a light lunch. The sandwich I chose was a panini of a vegetable melt mushrooms, broccolini, shallots and a great melted cheese along with a fresh salad with a light vinaigrette... Best meal I've had in a long time for lunch. Enjoy the atmosphere. A very cozy little place on the corner of Hope and Olive wonderful bartender. Quick service and all of that for $25. The restaurant for whatever reason kind of smelled like car oil?? But once we got to our table the smell was not as strong and it really didn't bother us. Maybe an isolated thing happened because as we were leaving I didn't really notice that smell again. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating, but service took a while. We were there at our table for two hours and we felt like we were rushing the waitress at the end. I completely understand that some restaurants don't want to rush people and make them feel like they have to turn over the table to another guest, but we were there to eat and leave, so we didn't really want all of the extra down time. Our meals took a long time to come out. We had 4 people at our table and we watched as a few tables of two sat after us, and were served before us. Upon receiving our food, the hamburger was not really hot and seemed like it was sitting under the warmer for a while. I ordered Pasta Fasulo, which appeared to be like a pasta primavera if you read the description on the menu, but the way the waitress pronounced the dish sounded like Pasta Fagioli, which this was not in any way. Also, I saw that the menu item had "gf" (gluten free) next to it, but I assumed they would use regular pasta but they had gluten-free pasta if requested. The pasta I received definitely seemed to be gluten-free because the texture was off and the pasta was breaking apart. I just thought the menu could have been more clear. I understand my review sounds very critical. By no means did we have an absolutely bad experience and a bad meal. For our table, the food and the experience was just ok, but we were a bit disappointed after the fabulous reviews on Yelp and after receiving this recommendation from a local.
