With four young children and a baby at the table, this was extremely difficult, particularly because there was no meaningful explanation or apology for the delay. Two adults ordered burgers that tasted distinctly sour. After they had finished eating, we noticed several other tables returning burgers to the kitchen. We cannot know the reason, but seeing several other guests apparently returning the same dish was certainly concerning. We were already exhausted by the long delay and simply wanted to leave. What made the experience even more disappointing was the restaurant's response afterward. Rather than immediately posting a negative review, I contacted the owner, Nick Matush, directly and explained what had happened. When he did not respond, I sent a polite follow-up reminder. There was still no response. We therefore gave the restaurant every reasonable opportunity to address our concerns privately before writing this review. Unfortunately, the experience left us with the impression that neither the service nor the customer's concerns were taken seriously.
