Really surprising little cafe with great everything. Not at all what I expected. Well worth the jaunt from the freeway.

Stopped into this cute little place for breakfast today. The vibe is great, loved the playlist. It's a mostly self serve style place. After reviewing their large menu, you order at the counter. Everything is made fresh to order. There is also a wonderful selection of fresh pastry tempting you at the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. We ordered the primal bowl, maple bacon burrito and a raspberry lemon blondie. Everything was so fresh and delicious! You are expected to bus your own table, which we did not mind. Overall, prices were fair, maybe a little higher than one would expect for a burrito but their slightly higher prices allow them to pay staff a living wage rather than waitress wage. Because of this, they are a 'tip free' establishment. However, if you choose to do so, it goes to a community meal fund for locals which I think really sets them apart! It's great that you pay your staff a livable wage however, the service sucks hence why chips are invented in. It's based on service/quality and is EARNED.. every place that I've gone where gratuity is automatically added The service has been terrible however, when I've eaten that places where that doesn't happen, service is great because people know they have to work for their tips. I walked in a little after they opened. Nobody was there in terms of customers... I wasn't greeted. I sat at the counter. The staff continued to just chat. I felt like the staff had no interest in having a customer. I had to go over get a menu. I was looking at it. They looked at me as I was reading said menu never offering a coffee nothing I waited about 10 minutes and then I walked out put the menu back and said I gotta go. I consider myself very knowledgeable about the restaurant industry as my family has been in it for over 50 years and I have worked in it for 30 years read more

The food is great and I love the "no tipping" rule because staff is paid a living wage. Unfortunately, the noise can be deafening, which ruins any restaurant experience for me. Leo's seems to always be busy, and sometimes there are no available tables. So many people make it quite noisy, and on top of that, the din from the kitchen is overwhelming. Setup; a modern very neat and tidy place with plenty of seating. Very clean but not lots of personality. Could be anywhere. You order at the cash register, and they give you a number for your table and deliver the food when ready. If you get coffee, they give you a mug, and you pour your own coffee, grab water and silverware, and when done you bus your table Food; I ordered a 2 egg omelet with bacon, cheese, and tomato. It comes with tater tots and a small handful of lettuce that they call " greens" Toast or English muffin are $4 extra. I also got coffee. The coffee was much better than "diner" coffee, and the omelet was ok. Honestly I didn't taste any cheese, the bacon was nicely smoked and there were lots of tomatoes. The tater tots were garden variety, assumingely frozen and then heated up. Nothing remarkable. Here's the issue. The bill came to $27.51 total. I should point out it's a no tip establishment as they pay staff living wages which theoretically I love. But honestly at most local places the same breakfast would be a lot closer to $15. Even with tax and tip,that would bring it to $20 or so, not over $27. I won't return. I support the ability that restaurants have to set their prices. Instead of me classifying this as significantly over priced, instead I'll simply say I can't afford this high a price for the breakfast I received. read more

Cute spot with excellent service. The front counter lady took time with each customer to answer all questions. We were very pleased they were open on the holiday! Was in town visiting family and came upon Leo's, and it was so great we went back both days! The staff were really nice, food was surprisingly delicious, and the brown sugar latte was a favorite at our table. Definitely go if you have the chance! read more

Over rated! Waited 20 minutes for a small egg sandwich, in a very empty diner. Clearly the sandwiches was prepared and sat sitting until someone remembered to deliver to our table. I should've demanded my money back and walked out. Shame on me. Re v Sandwich tasted fine. read more

After a rather tumultuous trip driving several hours in pouring rain to Deerfield from Boston, we finally reached our accommodations and immediately did a search for where we would eat breakfast the following morning. Leo's Table came up on one of our searches and is a gem! Besides the usual breakfast plates and coffees, they also serve a variety of mimosas, burgers, and sandwiches. We ordered an Americano, a latte and split the Two Eggs, Toast and Meat and a blueberry lemon scone. The house made 7 grain bread was excellent and coffee was the perfect way to start the day. Bacon was crisp and eggs were cooked to order. Loved the scone as well. They also sell loaves of house made bread. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area. read more

There's lots to like about this place. Order at the counter and your meal is delivered to your table. My wife and I had breakfast (pancakes and a cheese/spinach omelet). The food was tasty, fresh ingredients. Service was very good and the place is clean. I thought north of $50 for breakfast was a bit much though. We had breakfast there this morning. The lack of ambiance was a little off-putting and even confusing: there is a counter, at which there were baked goods with prices, but no mention of the food I'd seen listed on their website. Turns out there was a menu, and cooking equipment behind the tall counter which you just can't see. I think it would benefit them to make their selections more easily discernable when you walk in, but whatever. I'm glad we asked and didn't leave, which I was inclined to do. The food was quite high in price for its value (2 eggs, toast, and some tater tots was almost $12; to add bacon is another $4. That's pretty steep for a very basic breakfast). An omelet would have been a few bucks more, but none of the fillings sounded appealing. However, the food was fine and the others enjoyed their breakfast, though agreed it was pricy. Of note, they made their own peach jelly which was absolutely delightful. Coffee is a step above the usual breakfast places. I'm not sure where other reviewers experienced the friendly and awesome service - they did respond politely to questions but don't expect a smile or any conversation from them. read more

What a great find! We were in the area visiting friends and I wanted some breakfast before going. I hate showing up hungry and unsure when lunch is. The eggs were basted perfectly and the toast was a thick whole grain that was delicious, even though I'm not a fan of thick bread. I took a side of tater tots that were also cooked perfectly. The coffee was above average for a restaurant. I'm picky about it. The place is accessible and comfortable so there's nothing not to like here. read more

AMAZING place! Delicious food, friendly people and comfortable space- we could not have stumbled upon a better place to eat/be A large group of us, 1pm or do/ We had been turned around from a couple restaurants who are no longer seating and closing at 2. Leo's table was also closing it too but they did not turn us away. In fact, they invited us in with open arms. All of the kids found something on the menu they enjoyed thoroughly as did us adults. Cute breakfast place in a nice quaint little town. Homemade breads are a very nice touch. I wish they had more options though. They also have home made donuts but sadly they ran out of them before I got there so I was unable to try any. Its all self serve so that makes things easier and it also helps out the staff as nowadays its not so easy to staff places. Had brunch here when visiting a friend. It is a counter service place with plain decor, but the food was so good. I had a seasonal special - asparagus eggs Benedict. Eggs Benedict is not usually my favorite, but all the ingredients were so fresh and delicious, including the bread it was on. It was more flavorful than the usual heavy Benedict sauce at other places. Service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely go again when I am in town. read more

Stopped by Leo's Table last week for lunch. We had Chicken Caesar wraps and a Spicy Avocado Caesar Salad. Both were awesome, best wraps I have had. Just a tad spicy, enough to interesting, but not too spicy. The crotons in the wrap give a great crunch and create a nice texture. Very good dressing on the salad and for the wraps. The chicken was perfectly cooked in both the fried chicken and grilled chicken version of the wraps. Everything was freshly prepared. The salad was made of beautiful fresh dark green lettuce. Delightful little breakfast place. We had an excellent meal - everything from the eggs to the toast to the coffee and peach sangria was top-notch. The bread and pastries are made there, and even the jam for my toast seemed homemade and was delicious. The staff was so friendly and the service was also excellent. Even though we live an hour away and were visiting Deerfield for another reason, it just might be worth the trip to come back for another meal. read more
