The coffee and Matcha here is delicious! We really enjoyed our strawberry Matcha, it was made perfectly! Beautiful café, large space with plenty of seating and easy parking. Price is in portions are fair and everything was made to order quickly. Great option if you are looking for a drink or sweet treat in the area!

The best latte I've had in a long time. I had the vanilla bean decaf w/oat milk. their espresso is so good; smooth with no bitter after taste. The staff is pleasant & the atmosphere is casual. Seating is at a premium with Cal Poly so close.

Stopped here on our way through SLO. The staff was friendly and the space light and modern. The I ordered a decaf oat milk vanilla latte and chia / PB / fruit bowl, and my partner ordered a black coffee and bacon cheddar scone. The coffee was great and the food fresh and tasty.

For starters, this coffee shop is really cool. I mean really, really cool. They have a ton of space, cute decor, you can see where they make & process everything, lots of merchandise & tasty coffee. I went there on two separate occasions when I was in Morro Bay for the week. I had a vanilla bean latte one day & the butterscotch latte the next. Both the lattes were good & I drank them way too fast because of how tasty they were. Their croissants are so flaky & buttery. Best around. My biggest complaint is the customer service. The lady pictured in my photo of the pastries helped us the second day we went. She was extremely unprofessional. I was in the middle of ordering a latte when she turned around, walked all the way down to the other counter & set her phone down. I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of that was, or why she didn't excuse herself first. I thought it was strange but I didn't get bent out of shape about that. All I ordered was a latte. I then asked her before she rang me up if she could change it to a vanilla bean latte, and if I could have a bigger size. She stared at me without saying anything for a good five seconds, then finally rang me up. She was inconvenienced by my asking for a bigger size & a flavor added to my latte?? I'm sorry lady but I'm asking to upcharge my one item. Doesn't that help your business? She was very snide in the way she spoke to me. The next customer after me was a male & she was all smiles & super friendly. It was extremely disappointing. I loved the drinks here & the atmosphere but her vibe absolutely killed my experience. I do not think I will be returning when I visit Morro Bay again. 3 stars for the amazing drinks & croissants.

Lovely cafe right in the heart of Cal Poly SLO campus. The interior was spacious and full of light, and the service was friendly and efficient. I didn't try any drinks because I already had breakfast, but my wife liked her coffee.

A must stop coffee place in SLO. Every time I'm in San Luis Obispo, Scout Coffee is a no negotiable stop. This place is what every coffee shop wants to be when it grows up, beautiful interiors and delicious drinks. I got their Matcha latte. It was just the right amount of sweet, and expertly crafted. You can really tell they take their sourcing and roasting seriously. The baked goods are equally on point, I wish I would have tried one of their cookies but next time! Also, the baristas are, fast and totally know their stuff without being pretentious. Whether you're grabbing a quick cup or settling in with a book or laptop, this is the place. Bonus: Their branding and merch are actually cute enough to buy.

Latte with homemade almond milk and with wilderness syrup - so good! The house made almond milk is creamy and delicious. The wilderness syrup paired perfectly with the drink, adding a little earthiness to it. So goooooddd! Iced coffee with sunshine syrup - ice coffee is solid! The sunshine syrup is yummy but would've been better in a latte. In the ice coffee, it was just too acidic Bacon cheddar scone - deeeliciousss Service was relatively fast. I really liked the ambiance of this space. It was spacious and parking is so easy compared to downtown SLO. It's in a mall with a parking lot. Perfect pre-hike breakfast/stop

Visited several times this week. Have to compliment the staff. Not only are they on point with how they pull shots and prepare drinks, they have great attention to detail with customers coming in. Something like "welcome in", when most folks enter this type establishment means a lot. The drinks and pastries are also awesome. Nicely done. Will continue to revisit while in town.

Spectacular assortment of baked goods - you like sweet, they've got sweet. You like savory, you got savory. Something for everyone. Very good coffee and the service is exceptional. Lots of free parking. Adorable little place.

Stopped by a rightfully popular spot in SLO and had zero regrets. While a weekend line may form, do not fret- the wait was not long! I ordered the Matcha Yuzu Lemonade which was so refreshing and perfect for spring! Despite the busy atmosphere the staff were very welcoming and kind. I also saw a variety of baked goodies and cute merchandise inside. Highly recommend stopping by this location.

Scout coffee is our #1 coffee spot in SLO when we come for a visit! The shop is absolutely stunning with so many fun items to purchase, both from Scout specifically, as well as other local vendors. The staff are very sweet and helpful offering a variety of coffee and pastries. Our favorite is the sweetened matcha with oat milk. Not only is it a warm and inviting place to sit and socialize, there is also a ton of seating for studying or catching up on your favorite book. This a place you can't pass up with you're in SLO! You won't regret it!

Lots of seating, but there are no outlets so make sure your devices are charged. The large Americano was ~$5 & had 4 shots of espresso in it! cute place with merch + cards

When we were traveling to San Luis Obispo over the weekend, Scout Coffee was a college staple for my friend and I a few years ago. It looked almost the exact same as it did the first time I visited--modern, clean, and sophisticated but also cozy with minimal colors. I love the primarily white color scheme! My friend and I ordered one pastry each and at least one drink. Everything came out relatively quickly despite the long lines (~5-6 minutes!). I went a bit all out and got two almond milk iced lattes: matcha and a decaf! The chocolate banana cake, while decadent (it took me nearly all day to finish), was DELISH and so fluffy. 10/10 love this spot for any SLO trip!

Every item seemed to be priced 25-50% more than I wanted to spend. Walked past Kreuzberg and initially thought it was only coffee and pastries. The whole layout is immaculate. Outdoor seating, indoor group seating and even a few private seats in the corner that give it a VIP ambiance. Hidden inside was a narrow lounge area with turntables with a bar area at the end. A DJ was set to start at 8pm. The music genre schedule varies. I will return. The burrito was top tier. Side of chips added to the filling satisfaction. Only downside was the price but if you add the quality service, cleanliness, vibe and atmosphere...the value is there.

It was past 7pm and the place was still hoppin' with groups on the outdoor patio, back room lounge and main area. It has more of a restaurant/club vibe than a coffee shop which gives it a special charm. When asked about their chai the friendly barista was happy to share that they don't use dry powder, they use a spicy concentrate. That's one plus!! But, it's not a house brew, it's basic Third Street Chai you buy off the shelf at the local grocer, chef supply, or natural foods store :( To their credit, they heat it up well and top it with a fancy cinnamon design on the milk foam. When asked if there is a local chai, the barista (who is a chai fan) couldn't think of any. This explains why the local reviews were so good for mediocre concentrate. While the chai quest was a miss here in SLO, Kreuzberg is still a pretty cool spot, with a fun, social vibe, friendly, helpful staff, and some tasty looking items on their menu (just not a stop for chai).

The chai, however, fell far short of expectation. While I appreciate the effort of a house blend, it sadly lacked any spice or uniqueness. It was liquid, it was brown, and it had some sweet to it. But didn't get any hint there was spice. That may be what they were going for, but it definitely won't make my list of chais to come back for. On the plus side, the egg tartine was tasty and well prepared! And we had a wonderful conversation with a local at the outdoor seating area. Overall, pleasant eating experience, but not my cuppa chai.
