    Seasonal blueberry matcha
    Valerie K.

They have a great selection of Spanish influenced matcha and coffees. I enjoyed my matcha, which is the regular matcha with blueberry drizzle. I found out quickly that they don't really sweeten the matcha itself, hence why they leave out the honey and cane sugar syrups to sweeten to your liking. My husband didn't care too much for the mocha that he got, he felt that it was a bit sweet and I thought it was a bit watery.

What a cute spot with wonderful coffee! The latte I got was so delicious: a large latte with vanilla cream foam and I added simple syrup to my liking after. A 10/10 from a coffee snob! Their space is also so colorful and fun, and the baristas were really kind and welcoming. A 5 star experience. If you're a visitor or local between coffee shops, go HERE.

This place is nested right in a cozy warm square with multiple shops around. Google maps takes you to the next plaza over with the computer shop, just exit the plaza and take the first left. The square has a creamery, and other eateries. This place had one of the highest reviews for a coffee place I had seen so we decided to take a pit stop on our drive back, and it did not disappoint. The place is nice casual spot with multiple tables, and looked like a nice calm place to work. The staff was super friendly and warm, and were able to help based on your needs. I got the Buen Dia, which was an americano with vanilla cold foam on top. It is a house made cold foam, and it was absolutely delicious! I could just eat the foam by itself. I like to mix the foam a little to balance the taste, and it was great. Would definitely stop whenever I am close by to try more from the menu.

Cute little coffee shop. I love all the colors and art here. The coffee itself was pretty good as well

Needed an afternoon pick me up in SLO and decided to try Buen Dia. The service was friendly and fast! I enjoyed my strawberry matcha but my husband wasn't a fan of the espresso tonic he ordered; said it was a little too sweet and perfume like for his taste. Super beat set up, music was playing a bit loud in the back room but very much fit the vibe. I'd come back again!

I ordered the Fresa Fresca and it was very good. The matcha and strawberry flavor paired nicely and the drink wasn't too sweet. The decor was also very cute, definitely a nice place to sip your drink, read a book, or get some work done.

Cutest coffee shop and yummy coffee. Definitely worth it. Come hang out. Perfect service.

It's been a while since I've been back in slo and wanted to try a new coffee shop as my fav old one closed down. I tried their cold fashion and it was way too sweet and just okay, pretty disappointed. The size is relatively small too for the price or maybe it's the illusion of the cup. My boyfriend got different drink and it was also just okay, I love the decor, the vibes and everything though, will likely have to come back to try other things.

Staff here were so nice and helpful when it came to picking a drink. There was a decent amount of seating and the overall vibe was so cute! The Buen Dia latte was really good. A little on the sweeter side, and the cold foam was delicious!

I really enjoy their art store in downtown SLO so when I found out they had opened a coffee stop I wanted to check it out. While we were there it appears they are still creating new space and updating the decor. Very inviting interior with bright colors welcoming you in. I decided to order the Matcha latte with vanilla cold foam and my daughter went with her usual Chai tea. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the morning. Unfortunately, our drinks tasted just okay. Maybe it was an off day for the barista's but I ended up throwing my drink away. Perhaps their specialty is really more coffee drinks. I will have to give them another try when I return.

My wife is a FAN. Went TWICE while in SLO and she can't stop thinking about how delicious the drinks were. We live in San Diego and she wants to DRIVE back so she can have more. She orders a new drink and every time she claims it is better than the last one. That is impressive!

    Matcha-chata & Abuela's coffee
    Adanari Z.

Loved everything about this coffee shop! The decor, the baristas, the merch, the drinks; SO GOOD! We stopped by for a pick me up on our way back from our road trip and so glad we did. I got the Matcha-chata and my husband for the Abuela's coffee. Both loved our drinks. I couldn't leave without one of their super cute sweatshirts so that purchase also got me a free drink reward so couldn't pass up the chance to order the Matchas Gracias to go. The cold foam was *chefs kiss*. Just the perfect sweetness for the matcha. I honestly wish I lived closer because we'd definitely become regulars.

This spot is super cute and needs to be checked out more! They offer a good selection of drinks. The matcha was on the watery side, I would ask for more matcha the next time I get it. The real show was their Vanilla Cold Foam, it was so creamy, sweet, and the perfect consistency. It made the latte have a good subtle vanilla flavor. I like the size of the cups, always love a good chubby cup. Everything was fairly priced and wasn't crazy expensive. The workers were so nice and friendly, seems like a great place to hang out or study (I didn't see any outlets). ig: @cravingswithcat

It just so happens that my brother in law told me to stop in San Luis Obispo during my pacific coast highway roadtrip, told me it was a really cute area he thought I would love. Little did he know at the time, there is a coffee shop, the BEST coffee shop in San Luis Obispo that's called Scout coffee and Scout is the name of my brother in law's daughter AKA my niece so this was fate. Fate I tell you. I came here later in the day on Saturday right before closing, the shop is just adorable, really sweet tables outside on the street and some seating inside as well. They had some delicious looking pastries in the window and they had merch. Yes I came for the coffee, sure but I came for the Scout merch for my niece when she grows up and wants to drink coffee out of a mug and thinks it's just the coolest thing that her Aunt went to California for the sole purpose of buying her this mug, or something like that. They had mugs alright, $18 a pop. They had some t-shirts too that were PRICEY and sweatshirts that were even pricier. It was a bummer because they didn't have a lot of size options and when I asked the staff if they had more in the back they were not the friendliest bunch. Anyways, got two Scout coffee mugs and a Scout coffee travel sticker and of course a coffee. It was late so I had a decaf americano and went on my way. I came back the next morning for a regular drip coffee and the place was busy! This time, the guy helping me behind the counter was an absolute sweetheart. We made some small talk and it put a better taste in my mouth from my experience with the staff the day before. They don't use sleeves here and I LOVE THAT. I hate sleeves on coffee cups I really and truly do. They tied a napkin around instead and I've never seen that before. The coffee was delish, love the name of the shop, love the merchandise.

Learned that they offer milkshakes as their frozen drinks so ordered a coffee flavor with no whip cream. It was $8 for a regular size so a bit pricey for sure. Friendly staff, efficient in how you order and receive your drink and yes...they are busy and it takes a tad of waiting for your order. Dog friendly patio out front.

If I lived here, this would be my GO TO spot for ALL my coffee needs. The space is thoughtfully designed with many furniture pieces from repurposed goods. It is spacious with a light, bright airy feel. All the "baristas" were so welcoming and friendly. They seemed to enjoy their job and their coworkers. They set off a very cohesive vibe. I wish I could have spent the morning just being there but had to leave for a funeral. So many things caught our eye! The baked goods were devine. The T-shirts were super soft and I would have bought one of they had our sizes. The roasted coffee beans were priced fairly. I haven't even gotten to the coffee yet! There were so many iced coffee/cold brew options it was really hard to choose. We ended up selecting the Lemon Pistachio shortbread cookie, a Ginger Molasses cookie, a seasonal scone: Honey Cinnamon, an iced Latte and an iced Vanilla Bean Latte: 1/2 sweet and a bag of Classic Espresso beans. My only sadness was I should have gotten a large latte instead of a regular. We saved the desserts for after the funeral and enjoyed the yummy coffees on our way. The Ginger Molasses cookie was perfect. Moist and chewy and not too much ginger. I should have bought more! The Lemon Pistachio cookie had a lovely balance of lemon zest and fine pieces of pistachio in the cookie and a not too tart lemon glaze and pieces of pistachio on top. It wasn't dry or super dense either. Someone making these is an experienced baker! The Honey Cinnamon scone was the best scone we have ever had. It was messy but so worth it. If you want an entire coffee experience, you have to visit Scout Coffee on Foothill Blvd in SLO. You will not stop thinking about what a beautiful experience it was after you've gone.

Every item seemed to be priced 25-50% more than I wanted to spend. Walked past Kreuzberg and initially thought it was only coffee and pastries. The whole layout is immaculate. Outdoor seating, indoor group seating and even a few private seats in the corner that give it a VIP ambiance. Hidden inside was a narrow lounge area with turntables with a bar area at the end. A DJ was set to start at 8pm. The music genre schedule varies. I will return. The burrito was top tier. Side of chips added to the filling satisfaction. Only downside was the price but if you add the quality service, cleanliness, vibe and atmosphere...the value is there.

It was past 7pm and the place was still hoppin' with groups on the outdoor patio, back room lounge and main area. It has more of a restaurant/club vibe than a coffee shop which gives it a special charm. When asked about their chai the friendly barista was happy to share that they don't use dry powder, they use a spicy concentrate. That's one plus!! But, it's not a house brew, it's basic Third Street Chai you buy off the shelf at the local grocer, chef supply, or natural foods store :( To their credit, they heat it up well and top it with a fancy cinnamon design on the milk foam. When asked if there is a local chai, the barista (who is a chai fan) couldn't think of any. This explains why the local reviews were so good for mediocre concentrate. While the chai quest was a miss here in SLO, Kreuzberg is still a pretty cool spot, with a fun, social vibe, friendly, helpful staff, and some tasty looking items on their menu (just not a stop for chai).
