Really cute spot! The barista was friendly, I ordered the Bonbon Latte, it was delicious. It was hard to choose a drink because the whole menu looked so good. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and they also sell cute merch and cards. Great spot to sit down, and enjoy a coffee.
What a cute spot with wonderful coffee! The latte I got was so delicious: a large latte with vanilla cream foam and I added simple syrup to my liking after. A 10/10 from a coffee snob! Their space is also so colorful and fun, and the baristas were really kind and welcoming. A 5 star experience. If you're a visitor or local between coffee shops, go HERE.
They have a great selection of Spanish influenced matcha and coffees. I enjoyed my matcha, which is the regular matcha with blueberry drizzle. I found out quickly that they don't really sweeten the matcha itself, hence why they leave out the honey and cane sugar syrups to sweeten to your liking. My husband didn't care too much for the mocha that he got, he felt that it was a bit sweet and I thought it was a bit watery.
This place is nested right in a cozy warm square with multiple shops around. Google maps takes you to the next plaza over with the computer shop, just exit the plaza and take the first left. The square has a creamery, and other eateries. This place had one of the highest reviews for a coffee place I had seen so we decided to take a pit stop on our drive back, and it did not disappoint. The place is nice casual spot with multiple tables, and looked like a nice calm place to work. The staff was super friendly and warm, and were able to help based on your needs. I got the Buen Dia, which was an americano with vanilla cold foam on top. It is a house made cold foam, and it was absolutely delicious! I could just eat the foam by itself. I like to mix the foam a little to balance the taste, and it was great. Would definitely stop whenever I am close by to try more from the menu.
Buen Dia Coffee is a cute little spot tucked inside The Creamery. The parking situation was a little confusing for first-time visitors. We didn't realize the coffee shop was inside the complex and accidentally parked next door. We apologized and moved, but one nearby gentleman seemed disproportionately upset by our innocent mistake despite there being plenty of open spaces. As for the drinks, my husband ordered the Choco Latte and I got the iced Matchas Gracias. Both were decent. My matcha was a bit grainy, but the vanilla cold foam was tasty and helped balance it out. The space itself is charming, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, nothing was wrong with the experience, but the drinks weren't memorable enough to bring me back, and the rocky start with parking left me feeling a little less enthusiastic than I'd hoped. I'm glad we tried it, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip to return.

I enjoyed my strawberry matcha but my husband wasn't a fan of the espresso tonic he ordered; said it was a little too sweet and perfume like for his taste. Super beat set up, music was playing a bit loud in the back room but very much fit the vibe. I'd come back again!

I ordered the Fresa Fresca and it was very good. The matcha and strawberry flavor paired nicely and the drink wasn't too sweet. The decor was also very cute, definitely a nice place to sip your drink, read a book, or get some work done.
I really enjoy their art store in downtown SLO so when I found out they had opened a coffee stop I wanted to check it out. While we were there it appears they are still creating new space and updating the decor. Very inviting interior with bright colors welcoming you in. I decided to order the Matcha latte with vanilla cold foam and my daughter went with her usual Chai tea. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the morning. Unfortunately, our drinks tasted just okay. Maybe it was an off day for the barista's but I ended up throwing my drink away. Perhaps their specialty is really more coffee drinks. I will have to give them another try when I return.
It's been a while since I've been back in slo and wanted to try a new coffee shop as my fav old one closed down. I tried their cold fashion and it was way too sweet and just okay, pretty disappointed. The size is relatively small too for the price or maybe it's the illusion of the cup. My boyfriend got different drink and it was also just okay, I love the decor, the vibes and everything though, will likely have to come back to try other things.

After scouring Instagram for coffee spots in SLO, I became set on trying Buen Día Coffee! It's a cute shop towards the back of this plaza with other businesses. There was a short line to wait in before ordering. My family and I got a Bon Bon latte and Abuela's coffee to share with each other. Whilst waiting, we admired the shop which is really cute!! A kind of art deco aesthetic with tables of course. There were some items on sale which appeared to be all local businesses. After a couple of minutes, the drinks were ready to go. They were sooo good. I particularly enjoyed the Bon Bon due to the chocolatey sweetness of the cream on top. Overall, a very successful trip to Buen Día and I'd come back!! read more

This review is just for the blueberry bijou. When your lips touch the cup as you sip... you get that blueberry flavor first then the matcha as you follow through on that drink so the flavors dont really mix. So it feels like you are eating a bluberry dessert and drinking matcha. read more

Another coffee shop I found on Yelp while traveling through CA and it didn't disappoint! It took a minute to find since it was tucked back behind a couple other businesses, but not too bad because they had a sign out front. There is a private parking lot and there were plenty of spaces during the day. Once we entered, the ambiance and decor were so bright and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and their service was great. Luckily there wasn't anyone else in line so we were able to ask questions about their menu. After they gave their recommendations, we ended up with the bon bon, abuela's, and an americano. All were very good, but abuela's was my favorite! Very flavorful! There were also seating areas inside and out, and some cute merch and other items for purchase. We will definitely be back if in town again! read more

I got the Fresa Fresca Matcha and it was so good! The strawberry milk was creamy and sweet, and paired perfectly with the earthy, grassy matcha flavor that I love. Such a refreshing little treat. read more

My wife is a FAN. Went TWICE while in SLO and she can't stop thinking about how delicious the drinks were. We live in San Diego and she wants to DRIVE back so she can have more. She orders a new drink and every time she claims it is better than the last one. That is impressive! read more

Loved everything about this coffee shop! The decor, the baristas, the merch, the drinks; SO GOOD! We stopped by for a pick me up on our way back from our road trip and so glad we did. I got the Matcha-chata and my husband for the Abuela's coffee. Both loved our drinks. I couldn't leave without one of their super cute sweatshirts so that purchase also got me a free drink reward so couldn't pass up the chance to order the Matchas Gracias to go. The cold foam was *chefs kiss*. Just the perfect sweetness for the matcha. I honestly wish I lived closer because we'd definitely become regulars. read more

This spot is super cute and needs to be checked out more! They offer a good selection of drinks. The matcha was on the watery side, I would ask for more matcha the next time I get it. The real show was their Vanilla Cold Foam, it was so creamy, sweet, and the perfect consistency. It made the latte have a good subtle vanilla flavor. I like the size of the cups, always love a good chubby cup. Everything was fairly priced and wasn't crazy expensive. This spot is colorful and super cute! I stopped by on a Sunday around 11am, and while there was a small line, it moved quickly. There's indoor seating where people were hanging out, reading, and catching up. They also sell fun stickers and shirts, which added to the charm. I tried the Matchas Gracias, and the small size was just perfect! The foam was a little too sweet for me, so next time I will go for the matcha latte. read more

Colorful, cute, and cozy! Stopped by this hidden gem while visiting SLO and it was a great experience! I'm not usually a matcha foam girly but the Matchas Gracias had delicious vanilla foam. This is such a great little coffeeshop! It's tucked away in the creamery with plenty of seating and really cute on the inside. They have a great selection of drinks, we get the Abuela's coffee which is unique to this spot and a cinnamon-y delicious treat. They have non dairy options as well! Everyone that works here is very nice too :) They also have items to buy, like sweaters, mugs, stickers, & adorable cards designed by their sister shop. This is one of our favorite spots in SLO! read more
Friendly staff, location is cute and welcoming. The menu is simple and very interesting. I got the abuelita and it was very good though the concoctions have a lot of stuff going on that you lose the essence of the coffee flavor. You can order coffee black as well though. One star taken off just because the coffee gets lost in the craziness of the drinks. This coffee shop was really cute inside and had a line out the door but service went by fast and smoothly. The 2 iced drinks we got were super delicious! They had a lot of flavor in them. Such a cute coffee shop! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It has a light, fun, chill vibes to it. Definitely a nice place to meet up and chat or do some homework. I got the Butter Me Up coffee. Delicious! They have lots of different art on the walls and some of it is for sale! They also have some different kinds of merchandise for purchase. Fairly priced as well! Will definitely come back when I'm in town. read more
