    Horchata latte
    Trevor T.

Wife needed coffee "like yesterday" so we went to Joebella Coffee and they have such a cute setup. Great place to meet someone or study. Wife ordered a Horchata latte which was sweet & flavorful. Not too milky which she liked. I ordered a tea and wanted some honey so the nice barista heated up some honey to mix into my warm beverage which was delicious. Would definitely recommend coming here instead of a Starbucks!

Love this place and was so excited to hear that they opened a new location in SLO. the coffee is great and the staff is friendly. Brown Butter cookie was delicious. I got the Iced Santa Fe Latte, which is a latte with some cayenne and it was really good - not too sweet and had a tiny kick at the end, but careful with the last couple of sips because all the cayenne settles there

Was so excited to hear that they opened up a Joebella location in San Luis Obispo as it's one of my favorite coffee shops in Atascadero! The space is open, inviting, very bright, and close to downtown SLO. I ordered a vanilla latte and per usual, it was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and efficient, and just what I was hoping for. Can't wait to visit again. Thanks as always, Joebella!

Lovely space. Super cute and charming. 6 parking spots. Nice selection of coffee beverages. The woman working was helpful in choosing a drink. Very patient with questions.

Joebella has quickly become one of my favorite local coffee spots. The servers are always super nice and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure. They carry some bites from the bread bike, and they pair really well with their drinks. So far, I've tried their quiche and a couple of their burritos--and I haven't been disappointed yet. The quiche is definitely my favorite: fluffy, flavorful and satisfying. I also love that they offer specialty beverages. I've tried both the Horchata Latte and the Almond Joy, and while both were delicious, the Almond Joy has my heart. It's rich, unique, and just the right amount of sweet. It's a great place to settle in with your laptop or a good book while enjoying something tasty.

The coffee shop, lots of character

Wonderful to have Joe Bella's in SLO, now one of the BEST coffee shops in SLO. Limited parking is a down side as not about a half dozen in site parking spaces. If driving at a busy time you will need to park on the side street, which is probably than backing out into S. Higuara St anyway. **** ADA accessibility FYI **** (Just got some ADA users, just to be aware of, old buildings always have some issues) The owners have taken many steps to make the location ADA compliant and usable but may not be for some ADA user. Below is not a complaint!! Just a FYI for some ADA users to be aware of. Overall they a lot to make it accessible and to meet or exceed many needs.... Handicap parking for rear loading wheelchair van is not really workable but reg parking spit in front of old station garage doors is better for rear loading HC van than designated spot. That said for any other HC parking spot users spot is mice and close, plenty of space and perfectly level access from building to parking with no ramps or grades. Restroom, additionally without a curb and railing at the restroom (as the street side walk is a single step down in front of the bathroom door) I would not recommend for wheelchair use either (this issue could be fixed by city elevating the street walk up to level with building access sidewalks) These are old building locations issues, and I live what they have done. Despite the above notes I am a power wheelchair user and am still thrilled with quality of coffee and the character of the old 1950's old gas & service station location. PCR seeing old buildings always being kept up and repurposed, Unlike the ugly block new buildings always in town, this location is maintaining the charm and character of SLO. Thank you Joe Bella's!

A coffee shop that looks like it took over an old gas station is conveniently located close to Highway 101. This place has the typical coffee menu with some added specialty drinks. I tried the Hotchatta Latte and the London Fog - both hot. They were good and a nice alternative to your typical coffee or tea. The staff is really friendly and the space is really clean.

Amazing coffee and pastries. My wife and I come whenever we are in SLO. Sweet staff, and a location that used to be a gas station. Love this place and what they serve.

We didn't realize the coffee shop was inside the complex and accidentally parked next door. We apologized and moved, but one nearby gentleman seemed disproportionately upset by our innocent mistake despite there being plenty of open spaces. As for the drinks, my husband ordered the Choco Latte and I got the iced Matchas Gracias. Both were decent. My matcha was a bit grainy, but the vanilla cold foam was tasty and helped balance it out. The space itself is charming, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, nothing was wrong with the experience, but the drinks weren't memorable enough to bring me back, and the rocky start with parking left me feeling a little less enthusiastic than I'd hoped. I'm glad we tried it, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip to return.

If I lived here, this would be my GO TO spot for ALL my coffee needs. The space is thoughtfully designed with many furniture pieces from repurposed goods. It is spacious with a light, bright airy feel. All the "baristas" were so welcoming and friendly. They seemed to enjoy their job and their coworkers. They set off a very cohesive vibe. I wish I could have spent the morning just being there but had to leave for a funeral. So many things caught our eye! The baked goods were devine. The T-shirts were super soft and I would have bought one of they had our sizes. The roasted coffee beans were priced fairly. I haven't even gotten to the coffee yet! There were so many iced coffee/cold brew options it was really hard to choose. We ended up selecting the Lemon Pistachio shortbread cookie, a Ginger Molasses cookie, a seasonal scone: Honey Cinnamon, an iced Latte and an iced Vanilla Bean Latte: 1/2 sweet and a bag of Classic Espresso beans. My only sadness was I should have gotten a large latte instead of a regular. We saved the desserts for after the funeral and enjoyed the yummy coffees on our way. The Ginger Molasses cookie was perfect. Moist and chewy and not too much ginger. I should have bought more! The Lemon Pistachio cookie had a lovely balance of lemon zest and fine pieces of pistachio in the cookie and a not too tart lemon glaze and pieces of pistachio on top. It wasn't dry or super dense either. Someone making these is an experienced baker! The Honey Cinnamon scone was the best scone we have ever had. It was messy but so worth it. If you want an entire coffee experience, you have to visit Scout Coffee on Foothill Blvd in SLO. You will not stop thinking about what a beautiful experience it was after you've gone.

It did take a little bit for my drink to get made but I honestly appreciate baristas taking their time with each individual drink instead of batching everything. Drink: Iced Vanilla Bean Latte (7/10): This was good! I tasted hints of the vanilla bean with every sip but I thought it was too milky. Every item seemed to be priced 25-50% more than I wanted to spend. Walked past Kreuzberg and initially thought it was only coffee and pastries. The whole layout is immaculate. Outdoor seating, indoor group seating and even a few private seats in the corner that give it a VIP ambiance. Hidden inside was a narrow lounge area with turntables with a bar area at the end. A DJ was set to start at 8pm. The music genre schedule varies. I will return. The burrito was top tier. Side of chips added to the filling satisfaction. Only downside was the price but if you add the quality service, cleanliness, vibe and atmosphere...the value is there.

It was past 7pm and the place was still hoppin' with groups on the outdoor patio, back room lounge and main area. It has more of a restaurant/club vibe than a coffee shop which gives it a special charm. When asked about their chai the friendly barista was happy to share that they don't use dry powder, they use a spicy concentrate. That's one plus!! But, it's not a house brew, it's basic Third Street Chai you buy off the shelf at the local grocer, chef supply, or natural foods store :( To their credit, they heat it up well and top it with a fancy cinnamon design on the milk foam. When asked if there is a local chai, the barista (who is a chai fan) couldn't think of any. This explains why the local reviews were so good for mediocre concentrate. While the chai quest was a miss here in SLO, Kreuzberg is still a pretty cool spot, with a fun, social vibe, friendly, helpful staff, and some tasty looking items on their menu (just not a stop for chai).
