Field Day Coffee might be the best place to grab coffee, tea, or any refreshment at. First of all, their space is huge. Lots of seating available and the aesthetic of everything is very nice and calming. Second of all, the prices of their drinks are so affordable and reasonable. Third of all, the taste of their drinks is done well! Matcha: 3/5 Hojicha: 4.5/5 Chai: 3.5/5 (added more sweetener) Hot Chocolate: 3.5/5 (added more sweetener)

We were in the area and found this place on yelp. There's a small parking lot. The place is super cute and open. The girl who took our order was gorgeous and very helpful. We ordered two lattes they were amazing. There is a lot of seating indoor and outdoor. This place was pet friendly. The coffee was really smooth . We have a really good experience.

A cute cafe in a rustic garage setting. Loved the little latte art on my Gibraltar. The cardamom coffee cake was a nice texture and quite brown sugary.

We were on a weekend trip here and this was our favorite cafe we went to in SLO. We went on a Sunday for the house made bagels and it was pretty busy around 10am. The shop itself was super cute and had plenty of seating for students/patrons. It's also dog friendly! We ordered two matchas (Field day: lavender, rose hips & a regular matcha) as well as two bagels with cream cheese. The matcha was delicious here and I enjoyed the lavender/flowery flavor. The bagels were really good as well - chewy on the inside and a little crispy on the outside. Our only regret was not trying the pastries - they looked so good! Would definitely recommend this cafe if you're in the area!

super cute cafe right off the main drag walkable. Indoor / outdoor airy vibe and the half sweet vanilla iced matcha was a 10/10. Staff is too sweet!

My hot matcha was so good. It was bitter sweet i used sea salt maple and skim milk. They offer a few option to make your drink healthier. My company got iced matcha with oatmilk and honey. Open interior and it is an inviting area to hang out. It took us a few minutes (like about 30) to get our orders... service was not slow but they probably need more people. We got there at around 2:30pm, there were a few people who ordered before us snd there were only 2 staff. One was focused on making the drinks and the other was getting orders and helping with making the drinks.

I took a trip to here with some friends. We were celebrating post passion project. We all got something different, but it's our differences that bring us together. . The venue is fairly large and spacious with a rustic warehouse aesthetic. There's indoor and outdoor seating available, weather permitting/ It was sunny and slightly chilly so I opted for a hot beverage. If you know me, I love a matcha with vanilla and oat milk. The other two drinks are definitely lattes with maple and honey cinnamon, respectively. What I love most about field day is they always take the time to do latte art and I love to see it! . This spot is a gem complete with parking, wood benches in and outside and several small tables for two. It's also great for communal coffee drinking. Find book worms, writers and study gurus alike in this neighborhood favorite. And make sure to try some of their pastries too.

Waited 20 minutes for one singular bagel I didn't even like. Came here early to beat the crowd and still waited a long time. The bagel was so small too!!! My latte was quick but too milky so I couldn't even taste the smokiness of the beans or espresso period. I don't get the hype with this place other than the fact that it's aesthetic inside and the people that work there have an "indie" vibe...

One of our favorite coffee spots all of SLO proper, bar none. Their homemade smoked sea salt maple syrup is one of the better latte syrups I've had We also love heading here for their once a week Bagel Sundays (they're incredible and significantly better than HoBags - get there early) and for the nice selection of pastries they carry. Field Day is right up there with Scout/Tiny Cafe/Twenty South/Lucy's as one of the very best coffee shops in the county. While they make great coffee - the location is a bit closer to CP campus than I'd ideally prefer which can make parking and spacing within their location a bit tricky. Not a coffee shop that's as conducive to working at like Nautical Bean, Kruzeberg, and Coastal Peaks are. Still a gem in this county and a solid 5 stars for the amazing coffee and bites. They also have a general store + bottle shop by the same owners to the left and right of this parcel.

Oooo what's not to love about this spot. The gluten free baked good are some of the best. I'm always after the cookie.

Great spot for quality espresso drinks and beans. Good pastries as well, and fun seasonal syrups. True third wave coffee.

Yes if they are calm & trained. It's an open building. I took my dog it's been a while since I've been there.

Bar seating was already filled up so we opted for a cozy and comfortable corner to hang out. I was lucky enough to meet the owner Jeff. He was so personable and took the time to explain how the bar works. Each week he features young DJ's that are given the opportunity play their choice of tunes for 30 minutes each. This explained why the bar stools were all taken. These stools are for the aspiring DJ's to sit in line waiting for their turn. The sound system in here was all built by Jeff and all of the music played sounded incredible. I really appreciated all the different tunes being spun and each DJ had their own unique style so you never knew what music genre would be played next. The vibe here is so laid back and intimate. Small bites are served as well as beer and wine. We stayed for a while, enjoyed a glass of wine and played a great game of Cribbage. I really enjoyed meeting Jeff and cannot wait to return to this one of kind vinyl bar.

I opted to do a trio with the bahn mi, tip o' Argentina, and the garlic fries. The food was good I forgot to take a picture! The tip o' Argentina was solid with the garlic aioli and the chimmichurri perfectly complimenting the steak and the lettuce and tomato adding a little bit of freshness. The buns they use for all of their sliders are soft, slightly sweet, and don't fall apart while you're eating. The Bahn Mi was even better. I love pork but was a little skeptical about pulled pork on a slider riffing on the flavors of a bahn mi. To my surprise and delight, it tasted just like grilled Vietnamese pork, which was perfectly complimented by the fresh and pickled veggies and surprisingly hot jalapeño. Finally, I got the garlic fries which were a massive portion, crisp, and very garlicky. Everything was good and with such a large and customizable menu, I'd definitely return if I was in the area again. I also want to give a shout out to the bartender, Kelsey. I sat at the bar and her service was attentive and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. We got the opportunity to chat for a bit and I loved her vibe, so definitely consider sitting at the bar if you're dining solo or with a friend.

It is a bit off the beaten path I thought, in a seemingly industrial area and parking was hard to find at 12:30 on a Monday. We had to go down the street and around the corner since the lot was full. I got a Gouda Burger, the summer crunch salad, and garlic fries. My wife and kid also had a slider but did Italian Sprouts, mac and cheese with bacon, and sweet potato fries. The slider was good- tasty but a little messy to eat. Both servings of fries were really generous. The salad was a good mix of ingredients. However the mac and brussels sprouts were a bit disappointing. For some there is no such thing as too much bacon but for us both of these dishes definitely had too much bacon- so much that we left a lot of the bacon! And don't get me wrong, I do enjoy my bacon. Overall, a good concept but we'll definitely try some non bacon dishes next time!
