Very bad experience with the customer service here My car was damaged by accident. I talked the car to Toyota dealership and I told him that I want the car fixed. They said they don't do Body Shop and so they suggest me to go in with SCR To fix the car So I approved it and they went and picked up the car from Toyota dealership to their body shop Long story short the car talked almost 30 days to be fixed with them Then, after one month, they called me they said oh your car is ready so I went to be pick it up the car was ready when I got there, so I paid the remaining balance Then I was going to leave. Luckily, I had my kids with me so I had to open the back door of the car and I was shocked that both backseat backseat were damage and burn when I asked the customer service here he said oh that's not from us I ask him do you have a picture and he starts show me the picture and he goes. Yeah it's been damaged before I told him can you show me a date of the pictures and he respond, saying all our system doesn't show you any date for the pictures Which does not make any sense that the picture doesn't have any time or date So I reached the manager and he said I will look into it. I'll call you back. He did call me back after a couple days and he said oh it's our fault. Will call you to fix the car. He never called me back And I had to travel for about a month then I came back so I went to them and I want them to fix my car and they said oh it's not our fault. We cannot take no responsibility for this Our guys is professional they don't do this falls it goes do you guys have any approval that you guys did not do the damage because the car wasn't damaged before and he respond. No I don't. How do you guys say it's not your fault do you have any pictures that shows the damage before he goes? No, we don't have any big sure for the interior from inside . So I told him how come, your guy showed me a picture for the interior from inside and you right now telling me you guys don't take pictures off the interior from inside and he responded saying oh that's the technician who did it without asking which doesn't make no sense I would not recommend this business and if you decide to go with them, make sure you to get pictures of the car before they start working on it read more

After a very pleasant experience the first time used SCR when I was leasing my car through the local Honda dealership where my car fixed in a reasonable time frame, this latest experience has been the complete opposite. It's been over 5 weeks to have my bumper fixed and looks like it'll be 6 weeks just to fix a darn bumper! SCR did not contact my insurance company for a few weeks as they were waiting for pictures and their updated estimate and it wasn't until I called that they disassembled and sent it to them. Then after supposedly ordering the parts, they called and said one of the parts hadn't arrived yet 2 weeks after I signed off on ordering the parts. These were also quality approved parts from the company (Honda) itself as I paid extra to have them or else the parts were goign to be refurbished/recycled from China.Taiwan as the customer service rep mentioned to me. I had to then pay-out-of pocket for my rental car which I get 30 days covered, all to fix a darn bumper! When I leased from Honda, the car was more severely damaged and was fixed quickly and the transaction was extremely smooth which proves to me that they expedite and put Honda or other leased/dealership owned vehicles first over regular customers. Bad business and experience, stay away is my recommendation. Update: After initially posting this message here on Yelp, the message was posted in a group text that SCR sets up with the manager Abraham and other workers as well as the customer. Shortly after the worker posted it, the manager responded saying he will look at my claim this time around. I then called the shop again to check on what exactly was holding everything up and taking so long. I was told that there was a part that was on 'backorder' and wouldnt be available until next month. Meanwhile, just a few days prior when I called to get an ETA, I was informed that the car had been repainted and that everything was looking good and that someone would get back to me by the end of the day with an ETA which never happened. They still have not given me an ETA almost 6 weeks into the repair...to fix a bumper. Update 2: Owner/manager Abraham got in touch with me and I was very impressed with his response to my situation. He took accountability for the long delay and even agreed to pay for the rental car service until it was fixed. He also sent someone to get the part that was on backorder in Marin county and expedited it to be done within a few days. He also mentioned that he would give myself and the car the red carpet treatment with a wax job on the car itself for free and overall handled everything as professionally as one could have hoped for. Looks like the car will be finished by the ETA I was expecting and needing for the holidays due to his urgent response in this situation and shows he cares very much about his customers. Due to his response in this situation, as well as the pleasant experience I had the first time, I changed my review to 4 stars and would go back to SCR if needed and would suggest them to others. read more

I came to SCR per the recommendation of a local Toyota dealership. I dropped my vehicle off for repair May 4th and I asked the owner of SCR "how long will you have my car?" The owner of SCR says "Geico's process tends to average a minimum of a week to authorize repairs. Then we will be allowed to order parts 2 to 4 business days. Then assuming it's just the bumper we have 4 business days of repairs". I explained to the owner I only want OEM parts on my car since my car came in that way and that's what I want. The owner then tells me it will be an additional $138.69 that I will need to pay out of pocket for the OEM parts. I asked "why wasn't this in the quote when you sent this to Geico?" I explained to him I shouldn't have to pay anything as the person who hit me is making a claim through their insurance. My car was parked and got hit. On Friday, June 10th Enterprise calls ( I had a rental car while repairs were being done) and said the rental car needs to be returned on Monday, June 12th. However, still no word on my car from SRC. I had to reach out to the SRC to ask for an update. What should have been a simple repair from a side swipe turned in to a month plus without my car. I had to pay $138.69 out of pocket to get my car returned to the original condition and the accident wasn't even my fault. My car was parked. The right thing SRC should have done was to waive the $138.69. And........SRC told me today that I can ONLY pay by cash, cashier check or debit card. Website says that they accept Visa and Mastercard.........what a SCAM. I went on their website and it clearly read "we accept visa or mastercard" I confronted them and they complied. I will never go back to SCR. I will never recommend them to anyone. You shouldn't treat your customers like that. Actions are very unprofessional. read more

This was my first time getting my 2013 Mazda 3 detailed since I bought it 8 years ago. I'm not "hard" on my car but it was looking dingy and I dog sit a boxer (shedding!) from time to time. So I trusted my baby to SCR Collision for their detailing services. I'm so glad I did, because they took such good care of me and my car! I got in just before 8:30 am and my car was ready about 4:45 pm. Understand that good work in detailing a car takes hours, plan your day accordingly and a ride there and back! Booking was easy and they got me in really quickly. April, the receptionist was so friendly and greeted me with good energy. When I went back to pick up my car, I was greeted just as warmly. To the person who did the actual detailing, you're awesome! This was beyond the interior cleaning you may get at a car wash. When my car was brought up I was so amazed because it looked nearly brand new! The interior is bright and shiny again, it smells so good and fresh, not "chemically". There isn't a single dog hair in sight, they got an accumulation of pine needles out of my door frame I couldn't ever reach. The embroidery on the floor mats is white again. MAGIC! I never got it better than medium grey on my own. The carpet and upholstery looked revived new. The exterior was just a pretty, even the tires were shiny! As a woman, dealing with "car people" is often an unnerving experience, but I felt at ease, and you can tell this is a true multi-generation family business. The waiting area and office is very clean and pleasant to sit in if you need to wait a bit. The owner's mom maintains some very impressive plants inside and outside of the office building giving it a welcoming feel - I asked April about the plants. So my car was stolen and taken for an extended joy ride. After the car was found abandoned by the police it was obvious that there was tons of exterior damage. My Lexus RX450H was only 1.5 years old and now it was going to need a lot of work. The dealership recommended that i take it to SCR for the body work. Here are just a few of the reasons why they are getting a 5-star from me: 1) They stuck to their commitments. I asked them initially how long it would take to do all the repairs. Jason from the shop walked me through what would normally be expected in the repair process (this was extensive) and gave me a realistic expectation. It was in line with what i was expecting. About a week later, I called back and asked if they could deliver the car on a specific date (since my wife wanted to use our car for a road trip which she had booked). Jason assured me that he could make the date. Along the repair process, some of the instruments and electronics had to be re-tested and re certified by the dealership. When i called the dealership during the time they had it, even they knew that i had a target date and was headed on a trip so would be doing their part to get it delivered on time. That level of communication was unexpected. In the end, i got the car exactly on the date that it was promised. They even had a relationship with the enterprise car rental place nearby that i could just leave the car and keys with the shop and all would be handled. 2) I got the car back looking new. As expected. They detailed it before giving it back to me, including disinfecting the interior for covid safety. What was unexpected was that they took the time to re-run the dash-cam wiring inside the car which was all pulled out and dangling. I had expected them to just coil it up and set it to one side, but they reran it all to where i originally mounted it. 3) They took care of everything related to the car repairs with the insurance company and i was thankful for that. They even fought to get me OEM parts rather than aftermarket parts. With this level of service and attention to detail, they deserve a 5 star! read more

I paid $200 to get my car preemo detailed (without a groupon) and got shafted. I left the car there for 2 days and rented a car while it was only suppose to take ONE day. The blonde old woman (i am assuming it is Katie because she was training a new hire) was trying to train and carry a stupid mini dog. She said my car wasnt ready and they needed 30 more minutes. When I left around 945am, i saw a post-it note on my car that said "Pick up at 9am" - which was the time I arrived. *rolls eyes* My car was not as detailed as it was suppose to be. Mr. M is hard to buy for. He wants something, he buys it. Even if his birthday is just around the corner. Can anyone relate to this? So every year I have to put on my thinking cap and come up with something original. Mr. M really loves his car. And he loves to have things very clean. So my brilliant idea was an auto detailing! I searched around Yelp, of course. Not only did SCR have stellar reviews, they were also offering a great Yelp deal. So I snatched it up. Cut to the big day. I had read that they have wireless, and was told over the phone that it could take four hours. So I decided to bring the car in, get comfortable and work from the lobby. To my dismay, I'm told it can take much longer, and that I might have to stay until 6pm. Unfortunately, I had to meet my kids at the bus stop at 3:30, so I was afraid my plan had collapsed and I would have to reschedule. But they are all about the customer service. They did some shuffling, got some extra hands on the job, and got me out of there in less than three hours. They did not take any shortcuts on the job... even the engine was gleaming. Mr. M was very pleased, and so was I! And just to prove that no good deed goes unpunished, I plan to take my car in to get it detailed. Just used my groupon voucher for this place. First off service people were great, but I won't lie they do come off as being nice because they have to (i was given pretty rude awakening when I came after closing, I know my fault but I never been to a shop that ever closed on time). Now to the detail part, let me add that I got a bit paranoid because the service guy could not reverse my car ( 6 speed euro with reverse on left) he kept jamming into 6th and when I instructed him to go left he jammed left and then down (uhhh wtf?). I will say they did do the service but if this is truly their $185 package I would never pay that amount for what they do. I will say that if I were to price the service I got it would be the $49 I paid for the coupon not the stated value of $180. I detail my own cars but this particular car I bought was a fixer upper that I just put together and was a bit rough and was feeling lazy. I brought it in They did a great job of cleaning the interior, but too much slippery for my liking, tires were overshined (the drive home made splattered everywhere), I will say they did wax the car.... To be honest I bought into this hype because I thought they were going to clay the vehicle I can say they did not clay the car of they did it was terrible, paint is still rough, and it was only Slippery smooth due to the wax. Now I was hoping for the clay because that for me is the most time consuming which is why I bought this groupon but now pretty disappointed. On top of that they used so much shine on the tires.... They didn't bother to put any on the plastic fenders and trim mind you this is a mini cooper with plastic all around the car Other reviews think of this as a really good car wash not a detail Washed waxed and interior.... I've always been terrified of car repair shops and dealerships because I always hear horror stories of how they always take advantage of women because we're usually clueless. (There are the occasional badass car chicks but I am not one of them. Definitely fit and mold the clueless group.) I brought my car in because someone backed into my car. I was seeking advice because the guy who hit my car was nice and elderly and I wanted to spare him the burden of insurance calls but the guys at SCR were very real and honest and told me that it's always safer and best to go through the insurance because there could be hidden damages. From the very beginning Sam, the damage appraiser? For lack of the proper term because I'm pretty sure I butchered that, was very helpful and informative. James is the all around guy who I feel like just does everything. He was very helpful and patient with my billion questions. The process of getting my car fixed was excruciating because the other guy's insurance who was covering the repairs literally made us jump through hoops to get things going but the SCR guys were in touch with me the whole time and they made sure I felt comfortable with the whole process. I mostly dealt with James and I can't say enough about the outstanding customer service he provided! He even let me drop my car off a little after 5 so I didn't have to leave work early again. The shop closes at 5 pm and I'm sure he didn't have to stay later but he did! Faith in humanity restored. He was always willing to go above and beyond and a clueless customer like me really appreciates such kindness! They repaired my car and returned it to me shinning bright like a diamond that even Rihanna would have been proud! I'm no longer as insecure around car shops because I know good people exist there! I am late with my review.. but here we go! In 2020 my rims n tires were stolen and in the process of the vandalism my side door, side fenders and front bumper were also damaged. I was nervous as a woman trying to find an auto body shop. I took a chance here and I am very pleased. Abraham, Jason and the staff at SCR took good care of me.. the worked with my insurance to make sure the replacement part n tires were all new, as well as did a perfect job matching my pearl paint.
