It even has a drive thru!

I'm glad I didn't listen too closely to the reviews griping about crowds and long waits. I had no real issues with either--and let's be honest, if a place is good and you roll in at peak time, waiting is just part of the game. The Western omelette? Pure edible therapy. Beef, peppers, onions, and tomatoes all tucked into a gooey egg-and-cheese hug. The iced coffee showed up as the reliable sidekick--no drama, just cold, strong, and exactly what I needed. Service is the "friendly but hustling" kind. You order at the counter, they bring it to your table, and my food showed up in under 10 minutes. For a busy spot, that's basically lightning speed.

Waited 25 minutes in the drive through for a breakfast sandwich with bacon. Not sure where the bacon is. Not worth the $13

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. They give you a ton of food. Definitely a bang for your buck. I had the veggie omelet with Cajun potatoes and a cinnamon butter scone. Everything tasted amazing. The cashier had the most inviting smile and friendly demeanor! It was early in the morning when I visited so the place was quiet and peaceful. Definitely will visit again when I'm in this area.

The food was okay but not worth the wait. Ambiance was decent. The girls at the desk were nice and kept apologizing for waiting. (Multiple times I've waited an hour for food)

Food portions are awesome. Food tastes great. Fresh squeezed OJ is yummy. Bacon is great. Scones are yummy. A little pricey and I only brought half my family with me for breakfast. However I would still return because the food is much better than your typical diner breakfast spot. Staff is very kind

Stopped by for breakfast today at around 9:30. There were lots of seating and the line didn't take too long! We noticed it got busier around 10-10:30. I like that you order first at the front and then they bring it to your table. It makes for a faster dining experience! The food came quick as well, and it was all delicious! The bacon was incredible. Some of the best bacon I've ever had! (I've heard the burgers are pretty good too so I'll have to come back to try that!) The employees were very kind and brought us extra syrup and it was a great place to have a girls brunch!

Small location but not the portions - they did not skimp. Alotta bang for the $. Go early and even then it's busy with Uber Eats pick ups. Or hit the drive through --perfect for on your way to work (ie base) Small tables and not very many. Party of two and we had to grab a 4 seater table (only available) and when our food came, we needed both tables for all the plates, whodathunk?! Daily Rise coffee on tap- very nice!! We left at 9am and the line was out the door on a Saturday morning. Honestly do not recommend for families inside- too tight!!

The scones are really good. Dining in? The tables are really low compared to the chairs, kinda kid size.

We were here at about 9 am. Busy at this time. Ordering was quick and easy. Received our number to wait for a table to eat in. Ordered: I French toast with scrabble egg, French toast came with butter and whipped topping and fruit. It was light on the inside and crunchy on the outside, bacon was meaty and cooked perfectly and scrambled eggs were light. Huevos con chile verde with pork was sooo good!! Touch of heat, pork was tender, eggs were cooked perfectly! Toast was not covered in butter so was very good, Country fried steak, gravy was flavorful with sausage and had good flavor, steak was not over cooked and still tender. Cajun potatoes were crispy with a zippy spice. Scone was so puffy and light and airy too. You will not walk away hungry after being here. This is a must visit with a repeat in our future.

This place is great! We are from out of state and came here because of the Yelp review. Everyone was so friendly. Food was great I have nothing bad to say at all. My breakfast burrito was huge! The only complaint was the southern potato chips were soggy and had very little spice. My wife had the waffle on waffle it was excellent. The only negative kind of is it can get really noisy and you cannot hear the person you are with. Maybe some noise reduction on the walls would be great. But it would not stop me from going.

Stayed the night in Layton and wanted a non hotel breakfast and found this cute corner breakfast spot! Had good reviews so thought we would try it. Walk up to counter for service and the staff was real nice and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious! I had waffles and eggs and hubby had the breakfast burrito with Cajun potatoes. I would come back here if I found myself in Layton again!

Allllll the not-good-for-you food Pure perfection! Even my kids enjoyed the skillets.

I took my wife to Bartolo's on a date, and we enjoyed every aspect. Quick, thoughtful service, and they checked on us regularly. Lots of natural light on the North side of the restaurant where they have glass doors that open up to the outside (they were closed because it was a cold day but make for a pleasant atmosphere). The food was excellent. We ordered the house focaccia and calamari to start. Both were incredible. My wife had the lasagna, and I had the spicy crab campanelle (at the recommendation of our server). The homemade pasta is melt-in-your-mouth good. In terms of cost, it is about what I'd expect from a nice dinner out with my wife. My new favorite restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Everything comes out fairly quick for all being house-made from scratch. The meals are flavorful and great. There isn't anything on this menu that stands out, everything seems pretty standard for a nice Italian place. Our bread and salad starter were great and we cleared those quick ! I chose the chicken parmigiana and found the marinara sauce to be a bit watery/bland in taste. My chicken was a bit dry so perhaps a bit overcooked. The alfredo that came with it was DELICIOUS, perfectly creamy. However...can I justify $30 for the plate ? No. My boyfriend's spicy sausage a la vodka pasta was delicious but again, the red sauce was lack luster for me. It's almost like it was lacking tomato paste and garlic ? The potato side was delicious and surprisingly large for the price ! The aioli that came with it was great in flavor as well. We finished our meal with a creme brulee. It was perfectly torched and the creme itself was delicious and perfectly chilled. The strawberry was a bit sour for my liking, especially for coming with an expensive dessert. But this dessert was one of my highlights of the meal. Although a nice once-off meal, I find Bartolo's to be pretty overpriced, even for delicious italian dishes. I have had ruth's chris meals for this price and understood why it was priced the way it was.

We hadn't been in for several years and were very happy with everything we had. I had chicken fried steak, which was very good and the side of hash browns were just the right amount of crispy. My husband had a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns, which he enjoyed as well. He also ordered a sweet roll the size of a dinner plate and was covered in an ample amount of good-flavored frosting. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and won't wait as long to go back again!

We ordered a blueberry cornbread with lemon butter off the seasonal menu, and it was very good. I'm impressed at how well the combination went together. With that said, the cornbread could have been a little hotter. The main entrees were a steak hash also off the seasonal menu and an original breakfast. I have to say the steak cash was really good. Had a chimichurri on it and another sauce that went very well with a decent amount of meat and more than enough potatoes and other ingredients. The original breakfast was scrambled eggs with some cheese on it, potatoes and bacon. Again everything was very good. They have a line of fresh juices available none of which we tried but they do serve Coke products. All in all, while I'm not really big on chain restaurants, I would definitely go back here multiple times to try different things off the menu.

It wants to be a great go-to brunch place. But what's holding it back is a pattern of "good enough" execution, some gaps in table awareness, and either front to back with house, communication, or staff education. A few examples: - I've ordered eggs "well done with fully set whites," five times Three times the whites came out runny. - One visit, a large amount of water was spilled on our table when drinks were delivered. It sat there soaking menus and making it awkward to even rest your arms until I finally grabbed paper towels from the restroom and handled it myself. - Another time, a drink was served with liquid running down the side of the glass and then spilled a little more when placed on the table, leaving the table sticky. Same outcome, same self-service cleanup. None of these are huge issues individually, but together, they start to feel like a training and attentiveness gap. On the menu side, some of the bowls (especially quinoa or potato-based ones) feel a little unbalanced--heavy on the base, light on the toppings--so you end up wishing for more substance beyond the filler. Even small details, like the overly aggressive spray nozzles in the restroom sinks, make basic things like washing your hands more frustrating than they should be. Bottom line: First Watch has all the ingredients to be excellent, but right now it's settling for "pretty good." Tighten up execution, table care, and change base to mix-in ratios, and this could easily move into top-tier brunch territory.

The Oreo shake was good as well but i probably should've asked for a spoon because the chunks were too big for the straw, not a complaint but just letting you be aware of what may happen.
