The customer service was excellent--every staff member I made eye contact with greeted me with a smile. The food was fresh, though I personally prefer a bit more seasoning. There's Frank's Red Hot Sauce, and other condiments on the table. This spot reminds me of Denny's but with a more modern and updated vibe. Portions are big. Overall, I'd definitely come back.

Is this fresh fruit? This is gross. .

Service is inconsistent, cleanliness inconsistent. Food location. Big windows. Fresh appearance. When it's good it's good. When it's not it's not. I usually have the Wisconsin Scramble but there is a lot to choose from with many side options. The pot of coffee is a nice touch. The entrance to the plaza is very ambiguous. I parked in the law office next door. They close at 3pm

My friend and I went to breakfast at this Scramblers location on a Sunday morning. We were greeted and seated right as we walked in. Our waitress was really great- very helpful and friendly. I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes and a chocolate chip pancake. My friend ordered the breakfast tacos with a side a fruit and French toast. Our food came out quickly and everything tasted so good. Side note: The pancake was as big as a dinner plate, so come hungry. lol this is great little diner to stop in when you want a classic breakfast. I'll be back the next time I come to Cleveland. Another thing that I thought was really cool is that by the doors, they have a coffee set up with small cups, coffee, and creamer. I'm guessing it's for while you wait, or on your way out. Either way, that's a cute gesture.

This is my favorite breakfast place. The pancakes are delicious! I have also ordered lunch food here as well and everything I have eaten here has been really good! The service is also amazing!

I came here for the first time a few days ago and wasn't sure what to expect, however, I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the waffle I ordered, it was perfectly cooked and the toppings were fresh and delicious! I was delighted to find both blueberries and chocolate chips within the batter as well as on top of the waffle . The home fry potatoes were also very yummy! Overall, a very pleasant experience with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service!

Cool place for breakfast. Nice open space, big booths, and clean. Everyone is super friendly. Portabella and Spinach omelette was delicious. The Big Country is layered biscuits, hash browns , eggs, and sausage gravy. Good flavor for the most part. Very large portions. The French toast, pancakes, and hash browns were all overcooked, lightly burnt which killed some flavor. Good breakfast today. Service was pleasant and quick. Food was delicious. Good spacing on the tables.

My first impression of Scramblers is that it's a very cozy and inviting place to eat. The decor is light and fun. I did notice right away after being seated that the customers started to pile up quickly by the front entryway. You could just watch their faces turn sour after waiting 5 or more minutes without even be acknowledged. They could have really used a host at the front of the house. They looked severely understaffed. Luckily, our waitress Ashley was awesome. I'd even ask to sit in her section if I go back there. She took outstanding care of us despite the fact that there didn't seem to be a lot of hustle happening in the kitchen. Granted they did have 2 large parties of over 10 and it's the holidays. But still, we waited a solid 23 minutes for our food. Yes, I timed it. I was hangry and about ready to leave. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with the number in the name...the 419 or something. It was a fluffy pile of scrambled eggs topped with melted cheese, bacon and hot sauce on a brioche bun, with a side of hashbrowns. The sandwich was awesome, hashbrowns were more like hadbrowns. They were cold. The malted waffle was great with the all you can eat option built in. We ate 2 and ordered an extra to go. My hubby ordered the steak and eggs with hashbrowns. No complaints there. Steak was cooked to his liking and his hashbrowns were hot. Go figure. Overall, I'd go back. It's like Denny's nicer cousin. Reasonably priced, great service, great food, clean.

I give it 3 stars because it's definitely not bad, but just didn't wow me. Still a good place to get a quick bite.

Delicious! Great food at a decent price! Their pancakes are sooo good! I can't resist each time we go. We took our 2 year old there for the first time and got him the child's pancake. It was bigger than his head and they even decorated a smiley face on it with whipped butter, a strawberry nose, and a bacon smile. Very nice touch and he loved it!! They do not have plastic child's cups so I would recommend bringing your own if you have little ones. As for adult fare... I had a Mexican omelette which was tasty, although I didn't care for the salsa, a bit tomatoey and bland. My hubby had the BLT which was : layers and very good! They also offer a reusable $3 off coupon for the entire summer in the gold

Off the top maybe 5-6 tables and a bar that holds 10-12 people if I was guessing. Multiple TVs playing all sports. Keno, Jukebox also available. Nice neighborhood bar. Staff were very friendly even though they were busy. As for the food, I ordered mozzarella sticks, a hot Italian sub with tater tots. The cheese sticks were bad. Tiny, lukewarm and not much flavoring. Marinara dipping sauce was bland as well. Now for the sub. Unreal Italian Sub. The tots were crispy and salted. The sub was AMAZING... repeat AMAZING. Served with Italian dressing, on a toasted roll. Banana peppers, onion, tomato, with multiple meats and cheeses. Definitely a bar favorite as I saw many people eating the same dish. It's worth a visit or a try if you're in the area. The big positive of this place was the prices. $2.50 a beer and $10 for that sub. My tab was low so that's always a good thing. I would go back to this place however it might be tough sometimes if the bar gets pizza. In the plaza it sits next to a pizza place that I was told you can order the pizza from the bar and they have a window to slide the food through. I didn't try the pizza so I won't review that place. Overall, a 7.1 out of 10 with everything included.

We headed…read moreto downtown Gates Mills to dine at "Sara's Place" and enjoy the excellent Christmas light show of downtown Gates Mills. We arrived in the beautiful little "Norman Rockwell" community and the decorations were extraordinary. After an appropriate amount of OOOing & AHHHing we headed into the restaurant. The ladies at the door greeted us with a big smile and quickly seated us at a wonderful window table where we could enjoy the lights all evening long. A very pleasant young lady quickly arrived at our table, introduced herself as Cheri, our server for the evening. She filled our water glasses while taking our drink orders and discussing the nights specials. She left to place our orders and leave us to settle in and scan the menu. When she returned we talked a bit about the options for the evening. She answered all our questions very effectively and made several excellent suggestions. I chose the "Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna" for my appetizer. And the "T.R. Bone-in Pork Chop" as my entree. Both were excellent as always. My wife and sister-in-law enjoyed the "Walleye Special" for the evening and my brother had the "Beef Pot Roast". As has proven to be true every time we visit "Sara's" the food was marvelous. Prepared and presented perfectly. Following dinner was an excellent cup of coffee (including a silver pot at the table for refills). And a "Rich Salted Caramel & Chocolate Custard"... excellent as well. As is true every time we visit Sara's the evening was perfect in every way. If you want to have a guaranteed wonderful evening. This is the place you want to go. And be sure to take the time to enjoy the beauty of Gates Mills.

If you want to order a $30 burger, seasoned fries, and shake through a delivery service and want it…read moreto look like this then go right ahead! Ordered a Build Me Up burger which comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and red onions. The one and a half pieces of lettuce were brown, the onions were laughably tiny and it was missing the pickles and tomatoes. The patty was broken apart and misshapen. I added seasoned fries and a strawberry shake. The fries were completely bare, cold, and stale. They made the Uber driver wait for almost 30 min. My shake was completely melted by the time the burger was ready. Why didn't they make new fries and shake since the burger took so long!? They took so long to give the driver my food that I became concerned and called the restaurant myself to see what the hold up was. The guy on the phone said "we only have one person working." Ok then close off your online orders! If you can't fulfill them in a timely manner then don't offer the service. And worst of all, none of the food was sealed. No stickers, staples, or ties to secure my food and prevent tampering. I seriously thought the driver must have eaten half my fries. Never ordering from this place again and food went directly in the trash where it belongs. 0/10 would not recommend.
