And the food was good lunch food... well prepared. You can imagine how much noise a party of 10 can create. That added to the normal noise of the establishment made hearing a little tough, but we handled it. After the meal Ryan made us a fresh pot of coffee, which was excellent. I got the Kytana sandwich, which has smoked there, bacon, avocado, Russian dressing and arugula on a brioche bun with caraway seeds. The flavor of the sandwich was pretty good, although the turkey did taste pretty salty. I know that can sometimes happen with smoked meats, but this felt like a lot to me. My friend got the bbq short rib sandwich which looked delicious. It was on a hoagie roll and had pickles, red onion and cheddar cheese. The bbq sauce was really light, kind of seemed like a bbq gravy, but it was really tasty. I also got a pumpkin snickerdoodle cookie which was tasty. Service was super friendly and comfortable. The docs is very clean and looked like it has a lot of high quality ingredients, etc. I'd definitely return to try another sandwich of something for their adjacent smoke shop.
